We cut to a month later one night where a dog was barking at something in the sky

The dog's owner was yelling for him trying to grab his leash 

Man: Max get back here. What's gotten into you anyway? 

Turns out that dog was not barking at the moon....for something.....landed in the fire some kind of.....meteor hitting the middle of central park

Smoke covered the small crater it created in the impact and then......what came out of the fiery meteor.....was.....some black symbiont

It wiggled and crawled around hiding in a bush

Seems.....we're not alone
