"Do you remember the plan?" Klaus asked as we pulled up outside the poor victims house.

"Yes Klaus, I do, for the twentieth time" I muttered, rolling my eyes as the hybrid smirked at my obvious annoyance.

"Only making sure love" He teased, before exciting the car.

I let out a huff, reminding myself not to rip his head off as I followed his lead and exited the vehicle. He waited for me to appear around the back of the house before he knocked, and I waited ready for my part of the plan.

Soon enough, Klaus had made his way into the woman's house and I had to pace around the area waiting to see which door they decided to run to, in their attempt to escape. I heard footsteps, getting closer to the front door at a rapid pace so I quickly used my vampire speed and stood in front of it, so when the door opened nobody would be able to leave.

The door flew open to reveal a panicked looking woman who had dark curly hair. She saw me, as I leant against the doorframe and let out a small scream, jumping back.

"I love it when they run" Klaus smirked, and I noticed he was guiding another woman down the hallway.

"He's in Toll. It's near the border, a bar called Southern Comfort. It's on Highway 41" The woman closest to me told Klaus, tears spilling down her cheeks as she did so.

"Thank you my love" Klaus spoke, not affected by her tears. "Now, may my friend come in"

The blonde girl let out a little sob before she nodded, "Yes"

I entered the house, and the two girls watched me as I glanced between the two with an intimidating look. Klaus pushed the blonde girl towards me and I looked down at her, noticing she was shaking.

"Kill this one quickly" Klaus told me, before nodding his head other to the dark haired one. "And make that one suffer. I'll be in the car"

He walked past me, and I didn't miss the grin on his face, he was clearly enjoying this. My eyes scanned over the face of the girl in front of me, she looked terrified and I felt a pang of guilt but I blocked it out, knowing that I had to do what Klaus asked.

I let my fangs appear as the veins under my eyes throbbed, and when the two girls screamed I knew I had fully vamped so I wasted no time in sinking my fangs into the girls neck, drinking her blood until the last drop.

--

"Why did we have to kill them?" I asked Klaus, as we drove down the deserted road.

"Because they weren't any value to us anymore, what was the point in keeping them alive?" He asked me, keeping his eyes on the road.

"They were innocent people, they didn't deserve to die" I told him, and I knew I had annoyed him when I noticed his jaw clench.

"Sounds to me like you care, do you want me to compel you of those emotions or are you going to shut up and get over it?"

I didn't reply, instead I just turned to look out of the window, ignoring the light chuckle coming from him. Klaus infuriated me to no end, I felt like stabbing him in the chest over and over sometimes. But I couldn't say that I hadn't had at least a little bit of fun with him, he could be great company when he was in a good mood.

--

Soon enough we arrived at our destination, and the two of us entered the bar though I trailed behind knowing Klaus wanted to do the talking as always. He looked around before he turned to me, pulling me to the side as he leaned in so his mouth was hovering over my ear.

"I need you to compel the visitors for me sweetheart, so nobody freaks out if the plan turns.. bloody"

I nodded, and the two of us went our separate ways as I went from person to person, compelling them to remain calm and stay inside the bar no matter what happens. I sent a nod to Klaus, letting him know I had finished and with that he made his way over to a man who was sat at the bar.

They talked, and it didn't last long before the man who I assumed was Ray stood up to leave but I blocked him.

"I wouldn't do that" I told him, and he shot me a glare.

"I'm not scared of you" He told me, though the shake in his voice told me otherwise.

"You should be mate, she's quite feisty when she wants to be"

I pushed Ray into the bar and he seemed shocked for a second, "Vampires".

"You're swifty swift Ray. Yes! My friend here is a vampire, she compelled everybody in the bar so don't look to them for help" Klaus said, as Ray began looking around.

"I however" He continued, "I'm something else, a different kind of monster. I've got some vampire, I've got some wolf"

Ray had noticeably become more scared, as his eyes frantically scanned Klaus' face, as if he was waiting for Klaus to tell him he was joking, which of course didn't happen.

"You what?" Ray asked, glancing between the two of us.

"A hybrid Ray, I'm both" Klaus stated, "You see I want to create more of me. Now you being the first werewolf that I've come across in many a moon, pun intended Ray!"

He chuckled, and I bit my lip to hold back my own laugh at his stupid joke, whereas Ray seemed too nervous to find the situation amusing.

"I need you to direct me to your pack" That seemed to scare Ray the most as he avoided eye contact with both us. "So, where can I find them Ray?"

"You can't compel me it won't work" Ray responded, and I let out an annoyed sigh.

I scratched the side of my head, and Klaus looked at me as I did, nodding at me. I turned around to the bar man and caught his attention.

"Can you bring out the darts please?" I asked, giving him my best smile.

I reaching into my back pocket and pulled out the pouch that contained the wolfsbane, before I turned back to face Ray and Klaus.

"You and I Ray, are going to play a little drinking game. I like to call it, truth or wolfsbane" I smirked, crushing the wolfsbane in my hand.

"Oh this is gonna be fun Ray" Klaus smirked, as I grabbed the darts from the bar man.

Klaus then stood up from his seat and grabbed some chains from behind the bar, before dragging Ray along to the dart board. He then chained him to the bar which was nailed to the wall just underneath the dartboard, making sure he had locked it tight so Ray couldn't escape. I poured the wolfsbane into a cup which had ice in as he did, and began stirring the 'drink' with the darts.

"This might hurt a little" I teased, a fake concerned look on my face before I quickly threw one of the darts to Ray, it landing straight on his chest.

Ray screamed out in pain as I grabbed another dart and repeated my steps of stirring it in the wolfsbane.

"Where does you pack gather for the full moon?" I asked, glancing up at him.

The wound had began bleeding like expected, and he glared back at me with hatred, not uttering a word. I sighed and threw the dart at him, and a couple more for added effect. The screams and groans grew louder but he still remained silent making me become irritated, though as I looked over at Klaus his face held a smirk as if he was enjoying watching Ray being tortured, which didn't surprise me on bit.

Picking up another dart, I looked between it and Ray as I slowly made my way over to the injured man.

"Ray, look you can end this right now. Just tell me- us" I looked over to Klaus before returning my gaze on Ray, "Where your pack gathers for the full moon" As I spoke I twirled the dart between my fingers, my way of scaring him.

"I can't" He said, trying his best to keep space between the two of us.

"I know, I know " I sighed, "You live by a code and all that but see, he's not going to let me stop until you tell me" I pointed out, "And I do whatever he says, that's the way it goes around here"

As Ray continued to glare at me, I heard a females voice talking to Klaus. I turned my head to see a woman with black hair, sitting on the seat opposite the original. I walked away from Ray but not too far, so I could hear what she was saying clearer.

"I saw that girl's friend, Damon, at the farmhouse"

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, why was Damon following us?

"Well thank you Claudine" Klaus voice spoke, "You just tell your friends to keep up the good work with the neighbourhood watch, yeah?"

She walked away clearly intimated by Klaus, so I took her place and stopped infront of him, his face showing shock for a split second.

"Why is Damon following us?" I asked, and he shook his head.

"Because he believes I'm holding you against your will darling, just a friend being protective"

"Why is he so bothered?"

He shrugged, gliding his finger along the rim of his glass, "I'm going to have to deal with him"

He began walking away but I quickly grabbed ahold of his arm and pulled him back slightly, "No, no, no. Let me handle it"

He turned to face me, and maintained eye contact for a few seconds before finally speaking.

"Why should I let you leave?" He asked.

"Because you know I'll come back" I answered quickly.

"Do I?"

"You saved my friends life, I'm in your service" I reminded him but he seemed uninterested.

"Uh, that almost sounds so tedious and indentured. Aren't you even having the least bit of fun?" He turned to face Ray with a smile who was still moaning in pain.

"I'll make sure he doesn't bother us anymore" I replied, ignoring his question before I left the bar with Klaus inside.

Arriving at the News Station where Damon's newest fling worked (which I had figured out quite quickly with a bit of compulsion), I parked the car and entered the building. Luckily, nobody seemed to be there apart from Andie of course who seemed to be in a rush to leave. As she turned to leave after picking up her bag, I turned on one of the lights I guessed they used to make themselves look better on camera.

Andie turned around with her hand covering her eyes, "Hello?"

I almost scoffed at the cliche act, but stopped myself from doing so as she continued to talk.

"Not cool, my retinas are burning" She attempted to joke, before moving out the way of the light.

Of course I just moved it so it was blinding her again, which seemed to annoy her. "Okay seriously? What the hell are you doing?"

I turned off the light, watching as she glanced around in fear, her amused state had vanished and now she was just scared. She began running towards the exit before she tripped, and I rolled my eyes, turning the light on again.

Finally making my presence known I stepped in front of the light, and she rushed to get up but not before I had her chance to speed in front of her.

She let out a giant gasp before she relaxed, "Oh, oh Cheryl oh my god" She laughed as she recognised me.

"What are you doing here? We have been looking everywhere for you" She breathed heavily, still trying to get over the shock.

I stood still, my eyes not leaving her face and my mouth remaining closed as she panted in front of me.

"Cheryl?" She asked, now seeming confused at my behaviour.

I let the veins appear under my eyes, as my eyes turned red. Her smile soon dropped and she let out an ear piercing scream before my teeth plunged deep into her neck. She didn't seem to register that her pleas for help riled me up more, she's obviously never encountered a ripper.

I managed to rip my fangs from her throat, and trust me it was hard, but it was all apart of the plan. I made sure she was looking into my eyes, before I spoke, compelling her.

"Call Damon and tell him to come here and that it's urgent. Don't tell him I'm here"

She did what I said and with shaky hands she held the phone to her ear, Damon's voice was soon heard.

"D-Damon, you need to come o my work. I-It's urgent"

I could hear him asking her questions through the phone, but instead of giving her time to answer I pulled it from her grip and threw it against the nearest wall making her flinch back.

"Now it's time for the real show"

The door opened and in walked Damon of course, he looked around the room before his eyes landed on me.

"Cheryl" He muttered, eyeing me.

"Hello Damon" I replied in a monotone voice. "I need you to stop following me, though I do admire the gesture it's causing some problems"

"With who? Klaus?" He spat, "I'm supposed to care what he thinks?"

"What you are supposed to do is leave us alone" I answered, looking around the room as I balanced on my heels.

He ignored my comment as he walked closer, a look on his face that told me he wasn't giving up as easy as I wanted him to.

"I saw your latest artwork in Tennessee. Walking a fine line there my friend"

I rolled my eyes and nodded my head sarcastically as he spoke, "Keep that up and there will be no saving you"

I let out a small laugh as my eyes fell onto the floor. "See, the thing is I don't need any saving. I just want you to let me go"

"Oh I got a birthday girl at home who's not going to let me do that" He responded quickly, making me realise why he was doing this. It was because Elena wanted me, I had grown a strong bond with the doppelgänger as I spent time in Mystic Falls, and now she wants me back.

I pushed the thought aside and cocked my head lightly, pressing my lips together I nodded. "You know, maybe I haven't made my point"

This made a look of confusion take over Damon's face, just as I turned and looked up.

"Hey Andie, You still there?"

I turned back to Damon who looked even more confused, "Andie?"

"Damon?" Her voice called out, it sounded weak probably due to the blood loss and the fact she hadn't stopped crying, "Damon I can't move. Damon, she told me that I can't move"

"No, no, no Andie" Damon panicked, "It's okay, Andie stay calm" He then looked back down at me with a glare, "Not cool Cheryl"

"Oh, come on" I teased, "It's a little bit cool, huh?"

Without taking my eyes from him I called up to Andie, "You can move now"

"No!" Damon yelled, taking a step away from me. "No, no, no, no"

I quickly grabbed him by the throat, pushing him against the nearest wall so he couldn't catch her. He struggled in my grip as he watched Andie's body collide with the floor, a few snaps could be heard but I didn't even glance back.

"Now I said, let me go" I told him, this time my voice sounded harsh and angry which is exactly how I felt.

Damon finally managed to look at me, he looked disgusted and angry before he pushed me away and rushed to Andie's side but I didn't bother stopping him, I knew she was dead. With one final look I sped off, out of the building and out of Damon's life.

I entered the bar that Klaus had been in when I left, to see him still there making me calm slightly. At least I didn't have to go searching for him. He had Ray chained to the pool table now making me roll my eyes as a small laugh left my lips. As I got closer I noticed he was holding his bloody wrist to Ray's lips, the first step to creating a hybrid.

"What are you going to do now?" Ray asked him, Klaus looked up at me realising I was here before he looked back down at the beaten werewolf.

"It's time for step two Ray" and with that, he snapped Ray's neck with no struggle.

His attention then ended up on me, "You're back"

"Did you doubt me?" I questioned, smirking at him.

"Not for a second, I knew you'd pass the test" He began with a smile of his own, "But you care for Damon, I can tell"

I shook my head as my smirk grew larger, "I don't care about anyone or anything anymore"

"You put on a good show Cheryl, I almost believe you"

My jaw clenched at his words, why couldn't he just believe me? Yes I did feel a little bad for what I had done to Andie, she was innocent and didn't deserve to be killed but I wasn't really bothered about Damon right now, he was the least of my concerns.

"That's the problem with you Cheryl, you care for your friends too much. As much as it is a nice quality to possess I don't want nor do I need it, and you need to let it go. That's what the blood does, it makes it easier to let go"

With that he finally shut up and left me to my thoughts, the ones that told me I did truly care for Damon. I'm gonna need a lot more than one drink.

sorry about the fact it centres for no reason halfway through!
