Part 2

Somewhere on Zakmus.

Sheppard is waking up. He is sitting against a tree. He sees 2 persons walking a little further, a man and a woman. Lieutenant Kapp is standing in front of Shepp and looks at the other two.

SHEPP: Lieutenant Kapp... (Kapp turns around and goes to him)
KAPP: Colonel Sheppard. Are you ok?
SHEPP: (Tries to sit straight and touches his head. There is a little bit of blood on his hand) I've been better. What happened?
KAPP: We're not sure, sir. Doctor Kim! (He calls the woman, she arrives with some plants in her hand)
KIM: Colonel Sheppard, you're awake!
SHEPP: How long was I asleep?
KIM: (Looks at her watch) About 2 hours. How do you feel? (She sees his head and starts to attend to it. She drops the plant)
SHEPP: Like an anvil has just been dropped on my head? (She smiles) What's that?
KIM: Doctor Saline found them, they're herb medicine.
KAPP: A special herb medicine that only grows on one planet, sir.
SHEPP: Yeah, let me guess. M9G441?
KAPP: How do you know?
SHEPP: The sky. It's yellow. It's because of... the shield's radiations, or something like this. (Kim finishes her bandage)
KAPP: That's what Doctor Saline said too.
SHEPP: Thanks doc. (He gets up) Yeah, I've read Zelenka's report on it. Well, some of it. (He removes some dust from his jacket) Are you guys ok?
KAPP: We're fine, sir.
SHEPP: Is it just us?
KAPP: As far as I can tell, yes. (They look in the back where Saline was) We were waiting for you to wake up to search for other possible survivors.
SHEPP: Right... the explosion. (He looks at the sky) Can Doctor Saline please stop frolicking around, and explain to me how the hell we ended up here?
KIM: Doctor Saline! (No answer) Doctor Saline! (They look at each other. They hear a small noise a little further and all go there, suspicious. They arrive and they see Saline with an Eratus bug on his neck)
SALINE: Help me, please.
KIM: Oh no.
KAPP: Is that...?
SHEPP: Yeah. We're on a wraith planet. (He sighs and looks around him)

Somewhere on Zakmus.

Sergeant Marshall is helping another marine, Gorkin, to walk, his leg is injured. There are two other persons with them, Doctor Swalo and another marine, Jameston. Swalo is looking at a tablet while walking.

GORKIN: I'm sorry Sergeant for slowing you down.
MARSHALL: No pressure Gorkin, it's not like we're in a rush. (To Swalo) How's it going doc?
SWALO: I... I told you, I'm not the person for this. I'm only...
MARSHALL: You're only an assistant, I know. You said that already. But you're the only man around who can read this stuff. So... again. How's it going?
SWALO: I... (He looks at the tablet) I can't explain what happened. Nothing makes sense. It's... (He pauses) we need Doctor Mckay.
MARSHALL: Don't I know that.
GORKIN: Come on doc, what does it say? Maybe we can help?
SWALO: I highly doubt it.
MARSHALL: That's it. (He signs at Jameston to take his place, which he does) Give me this. (He takes the tablet from Swalo) You're gonna have to explain to me how the hell you ended up on this expedition if you can't even read a single graph.
SWALO: Be my guest, then!
MARSHALL: (He reads the graph) Alright, let's see... (He touches some buttons) There's a... radiation spike here.
SWALO: From when the ship collided with the magnetic shield, yes, I know that.
MARSHALL: Ok. (Touches another button) What else... (He pauses) That's odd.
SWALO: See? There's an inverted spike right after the first one.
MARSHALL: What's the time-lapse?
SWALO: 0.01 second?
MARSHALL: Well it doesn't make sense. If that was correct then...
SWALO: The ship should have come through the shield intact. (he pauses and looks at the sky) Which, obviously it didn't.
JAMESTON: But WE did; Right?
GORKIN: Wait, we're not even sure we're on the right planet.
SWALO: Look at the sky. It's obviously Zakmus.
JAMESTON: Well, maybe there's a Stargate somewhere?
SWALO: No, Doctor Mckay was very precise about that. There is no stargate on this planet. Nor anywhere else in the whole solar system.
MARSHALL: Great. (He gives back the tablet to Swalo) So we're stuck here. (After a moment) Ok, let's... (He starts to walk when they hear a noise. Jameston falls into a hole on the floor and Gorkin who was leaning on him falls on the floor)
GORKIN: Shit!! My leg! (Swalo goes to him)
MARSHALL: (Looks at the hole, then Gorkin) Gorkin, you alright?
GORKIN: Don't worry about me.
MARSHALL: (Looks at the hole, but can't see the bottom) Jameston??!
JAMESTON: Sergeant?
MARSHALL: Are you hurt?
JAMESTON: I... I don't think so, no. But... I can barely see you, sir.
MARSHALL: (Waits and gets angry, he punches the floor with his fist) Damn it, what the hell is all this?!
GORKIN: (Touches the sides of the hole) It has been dug by hands, sir.
MARSHALL: Is this planet inhabited? (Swalo is still in shock) Doctor Swalo, I'm asking you a question! Are there people on this planet?!
SWALO: I... I don't know.
MARSHALL: (Sighs, still angry) Take care of him. (Points at Gorkin. Swalo starts to help him get up) Jameston, we're gonna get you out of here!
JAMESTON: O.. Ok. (They hear a noise behind them, Marshall takes his gun and turns back. Another noise behind him, then another on the side. They are surrounded)
GORKIN: Sergeant Marshall?
