Two years later, and Reine and I live in her old house in the Spring Sector while Dimitri and Ayette, who are now married, live next to us with their daughter, Natsumi. Natsumi is beautiful, intelligent, and extremely curious, despite her young age. She has Dimitri's lavender hair and Ayette's brown eyes and Reine and I love visiting them. Reine, Dimitri, Ayette, and I began a training program to help teach new Iegashyias about their abilities and to train them to defend the sectors. Dimitri and Ayette typically stay home instead of going out on adventures, but sometimes they occasionally go with me and Reine. Ciana also lives near us in a group house with Aislinn and Nathan and they often go with us when we travel, Ciana always eager for something new and for a battle. Nathan's still recovering from PTSD, but he's getting better.

Mikasa and Zen decided to live in Orina, close to the palace, and they constantly communicate with Aiden, Eden, Bridgette, and Azuma. We go to visit them every so often and we also visit the royal family whenever we go. Reine makes sure to constantly write letters to both households, and sometimes Mikasa and Zen travel with us. Tien, Mirana, and Sion wander around the sectors, hunting down monsters, and my father still commands soldiers and trains them, but all four of them visit everyone occasionally. Tsukumi went back to the Summer Sector and she now helps out Phoenix and his wife and also returned to her previous work. Renee and Renji ended up getting together and they're soon to be married. They live in Orina as well.

As for my mom, step-dad, and Darian, I told my mom the truth when me and Reine went to visit her and she chose not to tell anything to Darian or my step-dad, and she understood my decision to live here with Reine and the others. I'm not sure what sort of lie she managed to tell them that they believed, but apparently it was never questioned. I still visit them with Reine, Ayette, Dimitri, and Natsumi every so often to check on how they're doing and to celebrate holidays with them. I'm not sure what Tien and Sion do in that regard, considering they're usually busy.

"Those scars are pretty sexy, you know," Reine teases as she walks up behind me in the kitchen in the early morning, me wearing just a pair of dark sweatpants as I make a cup of tea.

"Uh huh," I chuckle and she smiles as she rests her face against the planes of my back.

I swallow thickly as I stare out the window and think about how I want to propose to Reine soon, but I'm not quite sure how to do it yet.

"We have a new adventure to go on, you know," Reine hums as she pulls away from me and I turn around to face her, my eyes flickering across her beautiful pale face, bright lavender eyes, and long lavender hair that's somewhat disheveled, which matches her lavender tank-top and white cotton shorts.

Reine reaches over to the kitchen table and grabs a newspaper, holding it up for me to see.

"People still use these?" I ask as I raise a brow and take the paper, my eyes scanning across the job offers.

"Shut up," she rolls her eyes and I spot the offer she must be talking about, which is an offer to travel to the Winter Sector to hunt down escaped prisoner Iegashyias.

"I take it we're going?" I ask and she nods excitedly.

"Of course," she grins.

Just then, the front door slides open to reveal Ciana, Nathan, and Aislinn, bags slung over their shoulders.

"Let's go, bitches!" Ciana shouts and I laugh.

"Ciana, language," Dimitri chides as he steps into sight, holding Natsumi in his arms as Ayette laughs from beside him.

"It's not like it'll hurt anything," Ciana waves it off and places a hand on her hip, "besides, she's only a toddler, it's not like she'll--"

"Bea-ches!" Natsumi giggles and Ciana's eyes widen and Nathan chokes back a laugh before it bursts passed his lips and he doubles over laughing as Aislinn chuckles and shakes her head.

"Okay..." Ciana laughs nervously, "that was pretty close."

"This'll be interesting," I laugh under my breath and Reine just looks at me, smiling in an amused manner as her eyes sparkle.

Truth be told, I wouldn't have it any other way, because I'm with the ones I love, doing what I love, and I never plan on letting any of them go. Especially Reine Yvatlovich, the love of my life and the woman who helped me find myself.
