She bit the bullet, clenched and grinding her teeth until her bones shivered under the pressure.
She was palpitating, her nerves fluttering around her body that left her in catharsis.
Even in that jerking release she didn't say a word. She couldn't burst not when she knew the damage that would be done.

Her ribs creaked, cracking every time she took a breath. Her steps faltered; blood vessels ruptured, splitting open her skin when she just thought about what would happen if she just did whatever the hell she wanted.
If she just said whatever she wanted.
But she couldn't do that.

Funny thing, the delicacy of listening to her heart.
