Capture, Tests, and Others

POV 3rd person Error
Error ran as far as he could. For 3 days he made it, but soon he was hungry. Some people took advantage, capturing him. He cried in the cage in the back of the van they had placed him in. "Shut up," said the gruff voice of one of the men who had kidnapped him. Soon they arrived somewhere. Error could only see shadows. He heard as voices spoke. That he would make a nice subject, how much it would cost, and the sealing of the deal. He felt a prick of pain and then he blacked out. He woke in a white room. He didn't know how long he was there. They only gave him one meal every now and then. After the tests started, something happened. He now had dark blue cat ears with the insides being yellow and red. He had a cat's tail, it was blue tipped in red and had a couple yellow ring-like markings. He had retractable claws, he also had fangs. After he gained these new features he was taken to a bigger room.

This one had 8 other skeleton cat hybrids, each with different ears and tails, each also had fangs and retractable claws. There was Nightmare, he could switch between a normal and goopy form, and his tail and outside of his ears was black and the inside of the ears was purple in his normal or passive form, and cyan in his corrupted goopy form. Then, there was Nightmare's twin brother, Dream. Dream had yellow ears and a tail. Then, Dust, he had white and red ears and a tail. Horror, who had a hole in his skull only had one ear and his ear and tail were grey and red. Cross had white and black tail and ears. Killer had red and white ears and tail. Blue had mostly blue ears and tail, tipped white white. Pixel had white, violet, and cool blues and greens on her ears and tails. Like Error, she had tear marks, but hers were purple with some paler blues and greens, also her bones where white.

Each suffered from the experiments. Each was also a child. Nightmare and Dream where the oldest at 10, then Dust, Killer, and Cross at 9, Blue, Pixel, and Error where all 8, and Horror was 7. Each soon declared one another siblings. Of them all, Pixel had been there the longest, at what they thought to be almost a year. Each had scars from the test. Horror's hole was from them. Killer's soul and eyes had suffered. Dust had mental trauma. Cross had his x shaped scar. Nightmare had his corrupted form. Dream had strange positivity stuff that they would drain from him. Blue had scars on his neck. Error gained scars all over his body and worsened glitches and haphephobia, the other skelecats didn't trigger him though. Pixel had a messed up right eye, with severe cracks, and in the black center of the eyelight, the part looped with red on a violet background, if you looked closely, you could see pieces of the black eye light missing. To put it simply, they all had physical and mental scars. Each had individual  experiments that differed on there magic and other factors.

As they sat together, they decided to tell of their pasts. Dream and Nightmare's mother had died in a fire, Dust and Killer had been street kids, Blue and Cross had been kidnapped after wondering to far from their families, Horror had been in the orphanage, and Pixel just woke up here, all her memories blurry, only clearly remembering somethings. Error explained how he ran away. They gave more info about there pasts, but no one pushed anyone. Eventually, Error told them about how his older brother had been sick, and was going to die and how his younger brother had been emotionless. As they talked about it, they realized that he didn't get much attention, when he talked about fights and they said it didn't sound like him, Pixel suggested it was a subconscious way to get attention. None of them thought Error was angry. In fact Error was one of the calmer of the group(though that isn't saying much, as most are absolute chaos).

The whole group had some interesting habits. For example, similar cats, they would lick another as a sign of affection or comfort. They also would often sleep all next to one another for warmth and comfort. One day they got brought two knew skelecats, or skeleNekos, as Pixel called them. A pair of triplets, 5 months old(I don't know a whole lot about babies, sorry). Two little girls and a boy. They were all upset that babies had been used for it, but some(Nightmare, Error, Blue, and Pixel) where furious. Error, Pixel, Blue, and Nightmare where the triplets main caretakers, but the others all helped. Turns out, the reason the kids had been placed with them was to see how they would react, and if they would raise them.

The triplets where named by the group, which they called the clan jokingly. Star, a girl, had silvery gray bones, and a same color ears and tail that where tipped with white. She had white tear streaks and white eye backgrounds, as well as a sky blue right eyelight, and a pale, cloudy blue left eyelight. Star was blind in her left eye, but none of them minded. They where very upset that they didn't know if she was born that way, or the scientists caused her to be blind. She had some scars on her left eye socket, so, unfortunately, it was most likely the second option. Aster, the only boy, had deep grey bones, and dark grey ears and a tail that faded to black at the tips, the insides of his ears where purple. His eye lights where purple and he had small, thin, purple tear streaks. They learned from the scientists he was deaf in his left ear from the transformation on his small body. River, another girl, had lighter gray bones, and light gray ears and tail that faded to blue. She had a singular large tear mark under each eye. Her left eye had a white background, and the right had a black back ground. Both had blue eyelights. The blues on River where deeper/darker than the pale blues on Star. River had a wound on her legs and hips that would hinder her ability to run and walk.

The kids there only made them more determined to escape. Time went on and they brought a new neko. She was human with cat ears and Cross's adopted sister from before the lab. Her name was CC. She had white hair and her ears and tail matched Cross.
