Monday busy day nanaman. Nagmamadali akong tumakbo sa elevator. Late nanaman ako. Gosh.

Pagpasok ko ay may isang box ng white roses ang nakalagay sa desk ko.

Napangiti ako.

Binasa ko ang note.

"Happy 2nd Anniversary, babae. I Love You."

Yes. 2 years na kami ng boyfriend kong si Rae. Pero hindi ko yun ramdam. It feels like kahapon ko lang siya sinagot dahil sa undying efforts niya.

Nagmamanage na siya ng restaurant dito sa Manila at minsan naman ay umuuwi siya sa Villa at ako naman ay isa nang Assistant Features Editor sa isang Travel Magazine.

I love how Rae is letting me build my self-worth at hinahayan niya akong magawa kung ano man ang gusto ko, at yun ang career ko.

Kinilig ako habang inamoy ko ang mga bulaklak.

I dial Rae's number.

Rae: Good Morning babae.

Kahit sa phone I know he is smiling.

Sim: Thank you naman dito sa pabulaklak mo love.

Rae: You deserve the best love.

Sim: I love you.

Rae: I love you too.

Sim: Sige, bye bye na.

Rae: Sunduin kita mamaya.

Sim: Alright then. See you.

Rae: See you.

Bigla namang sumulpot si Kelly sa pinto ng office ko.

Kelly: Walang kupas talaga si Rae. Haha!

Sim: Oo nga eh.

Kelly: Hinahanap ka pala ni Boss Ivy.

Sim: Bakit daw?

Kelly: I don't know. Urgent daw.

Nilapag ko agad ang hawak kong mga bulaklak at agad na dumiretso sa office ni Boss Ivy.

Sim: Good Morning Boss Ivy.

Ivy: Oh, Sim may ibibigay ako sayong project. This is a big project so I need you to handle this and make a feature about this.

You'd be out sa area, you are going to feature this rising Production Company, they handled already big events and weddings. Gumagawa sila ng ingay dahil sa mga pinipili nilang locations for their productions at hawak nila ang taste ng mga millennials.

Right now, they're gonna have a production shoot and I need you to make a feature about their process from their scratch upto their finish product. So sasamahan mo sila sa kung saan mang location nila piniling magshoot.

Sim: But, boss...

Ivy: No buts Sim, Diba nakapunta ka na sa Baler?

Sim: Yes boss.

Ivy: Perfect. I know you'd love this project, because sa Baler ang location. Para ka lang nagbabakasyon.

Sim: Oh? Really? Sa Baler, Aurora?

Yes. Makakapag-surf ako. Hehehe.

Ivy: Yes. And I wouldn't take a No for an answer.

May magagawa pa pa ako? Kaysa naman masesante ako.

Sim: Ah, boss, what if isama ko si Kelly sa Baler? Para may experience na siya?

Ivy: What about the features for the July Issue?

Sim: Actually tapos naman rin po yun. I'd just check if kung may mga revisions pa.

Ivy: Alright then. Bring Kelly with you.

Sim: Thanks Boss. Ah, aling production company po ba ang subject?

Ivy: Grey Flashes Productions, owned and managed by Erin Grey Balse.
