(Y/n pov)

Y/n: Fuutarou!!!

We then saw Fuutarou, my best friend outside of his house. We went to his house due to him not showing up at school. Today's the start of our journey for the school trip.

Fuutarou: What are you guys doing here?

Y/n: To pick you up! You should thank the quints here, we're gonna use their car after all.

Fuutarou: Ah, I'm so sorry for the hassle!

Ichika: Don't worry about it, Fuutarou-kun!

We all then went inside their car... I sat in the middle of Itsuki-san and Fuutarou. I think I know why... I know that they know that I have a crush on Itsuki-san, albeit Itsuki-san doesn't know my said feelings... This gotta be a set up. But, I'm not complaining.

~Some time at the point of the ride~

I was listening to music with my earphones until... Itsuki-san's head rested on my shoulder. I looked at Itsuki-san and saw that she was sleeping. I took the opportunity to rest my hand on her far shoulder... Man, I wish it could always be like this.

Nino: Oi, don't think of doing something perverted.

I then looked at Nino who was awake. Gopd thing no one else was besides the driver of course.

Y/n: Be quiet, they're sleeping...

Nino: Fine, I won't tell them.

Nino then looked away as I savored the moment.

~Nighttime~

We had to spend the night at a hotel cause the destination is pretty far. The girls are now talking within each other leaving me and Fuutarou out of the conversation. They're talking about who'll be sleeping next to us... Cause we're boys and they're girls and usually something happens when a boy and a girl sleeps with each other...

Anyways, Itsuki-san will be the one sleeping beside me, surprise, surprise. Again, I'm not complaining. Anyways, time to sleep.

I just can't sleep with one beautiful girl beside me. I mean, who can sleep with a beautiful girl beside them? I lookes at Itsuki-san who was already sleeping... She looks cute, I know that they're quintuplets but Itsuki-san is the most beautiful. I waited for me to get sleepy until I finally went to sleep.

~Day of the bonfire dance~

Alright, there's this bonfire dance in our school's trip and it has some very good stories if I do say so myself. Rumors say that who you dance with during the bonfire dance will be with you forever. Knowing that, I'll take my chances and ask Itsuki-san out for the dance. That is, if Nino-san didn't drag me to the back of the building.

Y/n: What do you want, Nino-san?

Nino: I...

Y/n: I- I?

I was nervous, what is she even gonna tell me?

Nino: I approve of you and Itsuki!

Y/n: Wh- what?

Nino: You're a nice man, Y/n. I think you and Itsuki are gonna make a good couple.

Y/n: Are you giving me your blessing?

Nino: To an extent, yes. Now, ask her out and hope for the best.

Y/n: Thank you, Nino-san.

Nino: What are you waiting for? Go!

I ran as fast as I could as I saw the bonfire already lit. I searched around the vicinity not seeing Itsuki-san. I did one more search now seeing her.

Y/n: Itsuki-san...

Itsuki: Ah, good evening, L/n-kun.

Y/n: Will you dance with me?

I said offering my hand and bowing my head. It's all or nothing at this point and I hope it goes in my favor. Suddenly, someone held my hand... It was her, she accepts the request.

Itsuki: I- I'd love to.

We then walked near the fire and started dancing...

Y/n: I'm not that much of a dancer...

Itsuki: So am I.

Y/n: Itsuki-san, you do know that whoever you dance with here is said to be with you for life... Are you sure about this?

Itsuki: L/n-kun, I don't know much of these charms and beliefs. Heck, I also don't know anything about relationships. But, if it's with you, I'm willing to take the risk.

She said with a smile while I was on the verge of crying.

Y/n: I'm glad you feel that way.

We danced the night away until the fire was out. It was dark and pretty late but I still have one trick off my sleeve.

Y/n: Itsuki-san, can you come with me?

Itsuki: Sure...

I held her hand as we went inside the woods. After a few minutes of walking, we reached a cliff showing us a good view of the night sky and the land below us.

Y/n: I found this earlier this day, I thought it would be a nice view and it surely didn't disappoint.

Itsuki-san then looked at the sky, filled with stars that shine so bright.Her eyes were so focused on the stars while I was just looking at her, mesmerised.

Itsuki: I love the view!

Y/n: I love it too.

She then looked at me looking all flustered.

Y/n: For me, it doesn't matter if I never get to see the stars in the sky again. After all, I get to be with one right here.

I said pointing at her.

Itsuki: I- I love you, L/n-kun!!!

She said as she hugged me.

Y/n: I love you too...

After that moment of a lifetime, we started heading back...

Y/n: You know, there's actually three stars with me right now.

Itsuki: What do you mean?

Y/n: You have your star-shaped hair clips!

Itsuki: Oh, does it look good on me?

Y/n: Yep!

We then chuckled and continued our way back.

Y/n: Oh, we may get scolded by our teachers for staying out late. But, it's worth it.

Itsuki: Agreed, we'll get scolded together after all!

Y/n: And that means more experiences with you~
