Hong Jisoo. Ah, senior year. Nothing much happened in my senior year except for the fact that I started working. It wasn't like my family was having a financial crisis that's why they made me have a part-time job, my parents are both doctors, how could we struggle financially? Instead, they made me get a job because they said it would be a good learning experience. and I'm glad that they made me do that because it actually was a great experience.

As for Jisoo, we met when he came into the cafè I was working at. Every day, he would come there with a guitar in hand and I would always be the one who would take his order. He would always practice his guitar there because the cafè always had a peaceful atmosphere.

Naturally, we became friends because we saw each other every day. After my shift ended, I stayed to talk to him for a while. He was from Los Angeles before they moved to Korea. They had to move because of business reasons so he had to leave everything in LA, including his girlfriend.

That sent a bit of an ache to my heart. he admitted that he was still in love with her but had no choice but to leave. He would ask for advice, and I'd try my best to tell him what I would do if I were in his situation. He really appreciated my advice and would come every day to the cafè just to talk to me.

After a few weeks, he came to the cafè with a girl. He introduced me to Myoui Mina, his girlfriend. they apparently talked everything out and decided that they would just be in a long-distance relationship. But Mina was so happy with the decision that she flew all the way from Los Angeles to meet him.

He thanked me for the advice because that really helped with their relationship. I was happy to help. He never knew about my feelings for him until I let them go. if it meant his happiness, I would gladly let them go.

Jisoo and I still keep in touch. Turns out, he and Mina are engaged. They also stayed in Los Angeles and even though I couldn't see him anymore, we still update each other on everything that's been happening in our lives. And Mina doesn't really mind, me and her are also friends.

I'll continue to wish the best for him and Mina. Even if I wasn't the one who he ended up with, I guess fate had different plans. I wish the best for both of them.
