Choi Seungcheol. He was my first ever crush on Yeongrin high. He came from a very wealthy family but never boasted about it to anyone. He was rather humble and friendly. He was about a year older than me so we never really got to interact.

When news spread that he was going to run for student council president, I got excited and definitely wanted to vote for him. Since the school president was usually the one who takes care of us, freshmen, during events and field trips, I thought I could at least get a few interactions with him here and there.

When he won, it was during a batch of field trips when I finally got that wish to come true. We all got into the bus and I was sitting alone because no one wanted to sit with me. Then he got into the bus since he was the one who was going to look after us freshmen.

I saw how he scanned the bus, trying to find an empty seat when suddenly his eyes landed on mine. he walked up to me and smiled kindly then asked if he could take the seat next to me. I swear my heart was about to explode at that time but I calmly said yes.

The whole ride was quiet, and I was afraid he could hear my heart pounding hard against my chest. When we got off, it was also that day when I met Tzuyu. We were all required to have a partner so that we couldn't get lost and our partners would have to be our seatmates.

I didn't assume that the president was going to be my partner, I couldn't ask for that anymore. Even though the thought sent butterflies on my stomach at that time.

Turns out, Tzuyu sat in the back which had five seats so she also didn't have a partner. The two of us just got paired by the teachers and that's how I met Tzuyu.

she was a transfer student from Taiwan that's why people didn't want to be friends with her. Add the fact that she was also quite tanned and they would bully her for that. So we stuck with each other. Even when she got famous, she would still choose me over those other girls who tried to be friends with her for attention. I'm lucky to have such a friend like her.

Anyways, today, Seungcheol is now the CEO of his family's company. He's living the dream life but from what I heard, is still down to earth as ever. He's also engaged to Im Nayeon, who was actually his vice president when they were in high school. They're actually about to get married soon.

I already sent my congratulations to them, I hope they live a happy, long life with their family. I wish the best for both of them.
