"Nate?" Natalie said recognizing the voice Cassie gasp. She knew she messed up. She was drunk.

"Shh! Uh, just a sec." Nate said he is freaking out. He promised both her and him that he would mess this up. And he felt like he messed it up even if he didn't do anything.

He knew if Cassie and him walked out she wouldn't let him explain so he had to hide her.

Natalie leaned against the wall for a second before knocking on the door again "Open the fucking door, Nate! I have to pee!" She spoke.

Natalie started bagging on the door pissed "Are you fuckin' crying?" He asked when he looked at Cassie.

"Can you open the door?" Natalie asked knocking again.

"You're the one who fucking followed me in here and did this. Why are you crying?" Nate whispered.

"I have to pee, Nate! Open the door! It's not like I haven't seen you dick before!" Natalie said.

"Calm down and put your shoes on." Nate told Cassie "I can't... She's my best friend." Cassie cried.

"Open the door! I need to pee!" Natalie said "I'm just using the bathroom! Just a second!" Nate yelled back "Nate, I'm literally going to fucking kill you."

"What are you doing taking a shit? Hurry the fuck up!" Natalie said banging on the door again.

"We shouldn't have done this." Cassie said "we didn't do anything. I need you to focus, okay?" Nate said, "What are you fucking doing?" Natalie asked.

"I can't find my other shoe." Cassie said "here. Here." Nate said when he saw out the corner of his eye.

"I'm so scared. I'm really scared, Nate." Cassie said, "It's your fucking fault." Nate said she looked at him with tears in her eyes.

"Okay, hey, look at me. Look at me. I need you to trust me. I need you to trust me, okay?" Nate said looking at her Cassie nodded.

"Come out. I need to pee!" Natalie said again "I need you to listen and do exactly what I say." Nate said.

He hated this he felt like he was digging himself into a deeper hole.

"I thought you had to pee." Maddy said walking up to the bathroom "I do but Nate is taking forever." Natalie said before turning back to the door and banging on it again.

"I'm going to break this fucking door, Nate. Open the fucking door!" She yelled and continued to bang on the door.

She looked at Maddy annoyed as a guy walked up to them "You waiting for the bathroom?" He asked, "Do we know you?" Maddy asked.

"A lot of people know me." He said, "Do you know us?" Maddy asked him "Yeah. You're the girls I met on New Year's Eve standing in line for the bathroom." He said Maddy looked away from him "Oh god."

"Wait, did you not wash your hands?" Maddy asked when Nate opened the door and stepped out. "What the fuck are you talking about, Maddy?" Nate asked not knowing she was out there too.

"Nat said you were taking forever. Did you take a shit at a party, and not wash your hands?" Maddy asked.

"Yo, wassup? My name's Travis. I would shake your hand, but I don't want to get Hepatitis." Travis said.

"Yo, can we talk somewhere in private?" Nate asked turning to Natalie "maybe later because I have to fucking pee and you took forever." Natalie said walking in with Maddy behind her.

"Do you have to pee too?" Natalie asked, "No I just came to find you." She said.

Natalie sat down and peed as Maddy looked at herself in the mirror. Both of them unaware of their blond best friend laying in the bathtub.

Natalie finally stopped peeing and turned to get toilet paper but there wasn't any "Fuck. Fuck my life."

"What?" Maddy asked "there's no toilet paper." Natalie said, Maddy looked around for a second before giving her a hand towel "Oh god." Natalie said and took the towel and wiped.

"What do I do with it." Natalie asked when she stood up "throw it in the tub." Maddy said Natalie shrugged and tossed it in there.

The towel landed on Cassie's face. She threw it off trying now to gag Natalie washed her hands and opened the door and saw Travis still there "Wanna smoke?" He asked "I'm six months pregnant" Natalie said and walked away leaving Maddy to smoke with him.

"Who was that guy?" Travis asked "My best friend's boyfriend and baby daddy. Also, my ex." Maddy said.

"Your best friend, like the one that just left?" Travis asked Maddy nodded "Shes dating your ex and got pregnant by him." Travis asked.

"Yeah, but it wasn't like she got with him without talking to me first." Maddy said "she got your approval?" Travis asked.

Maddy nodded "that's a real best friend." Travis said Maddy nodded again "yeah, she literally the best person in the world. I'd do anything for her." Maddy said.

Travis offered her the blunt "Mm-mm, I don't smoke random people's weed." Maddy said.

Natalie finally found Nate talking to McKay "hey, there you are I've been looking literally everywhere for you." Natalie said and kissed Nate.

"Hey McKay." Natalie said, "oh shit, I haven't seen you in so long I forgot you were pregnant." He said hugging her.

"Yeah, it sucks. I'm ready for her to come out." Natalie said, "you're having a girl?" Mckay asks "yep." Natalie smiled.

"Have you guys come up with any names yet?" He asked looking between Nate and Natalie "no, not yet."

Lexi walked up and started talking to Mckay. Natalie noticed Nate looking down the hall "hey, are you okay?" Natalie asked, "yeah I'm fine." Nate said.

"Yo, it's good to fucking see you, bro." Nate said as Lexi walked away "Good to see you, man." Mckay said "Yeah." Nate trailed off looking down the hall again.

"Are you good?" Mckay asked. "Yeah, no, I'm good, man." Nate said glancing down at Natalie "You waiting on somebody else?" Mckay asks Nate shook his head.

"How are you two?" Mckay asked "we're good." Nate said smiling a little forgetting about Cassie in the bathroom.

Mckay saw the ring on Natalie's hand when she reached up to run a hand through her hair "did you propose?" Mckay asked.

"No. It's just a promise ring." Nate said Maddy walked by with Travis but stopped and looked at Natalie "do you want to dance with us?"

Natalie looked up at Nate for permission. She usually wouldn't ask to dance but since she was going to be dancing with a guy who wasn't Nate, she wanted to make sure he was okay with it.

"Yeah, go. Go have fun." Nate said she kissed his cheek as Maddy grabbed her hand and pulled her to dance.

After a few minutes of dancing Maddy and Natalie left and went into different directions.

Natalie saw Nate by the alcohol and went to stand with him. He took another shot before standing up straight. Natalie leaned against him.

"Are you okay? Nate asked Natalie nodded "yeah my back just hurts a little bit." She said he pulled her into him and kissed her head and rubbed her back a little bit.

Maddy ran up to Nate and Natalie with Cassie trialing behind her "look who I found." Maddy said "Cassie where the hell have you been." Natalie said pulling away from Nate to hug Cassie.

"Um, just around." Cassie said "just around? What does that mean?" Natalie asked, Cassie shrugged nervously glancing up at Nate who shifted uncomfortably "are you okay to dance?" Maddy asked Natalie nodded and kissed Nate before walking away.

Natalie didn't know how long she had been dancing with Cassie and Maddy before Virgil walked past them "Everyone, everyone! One minute till fucking New Year's!" He shouted.

Maddy hugged Cassie and Natalie laughing excitedly Maddy and Natalie kept dancing Cassie was trying her best to dance. And Nate was watching them.

Everyone started counting down and when they got to one glass was heard shattering. Natalie Cassie and Maddy looked around and saw fez on top of Nate beating his ass.

"Oh my god!" Cassie shouted. "Get off of him!" Natalie said Maddy pushed her back not wanting her to get hurt and tried to get fez off of Nate

"Oh my god! Fezco, stop! McKay! Stop. Stop! Fezco, stop! Fezco, get off of him! Stop!" Cassie said and got pushed to the ground by fez.

Tears built up in Natalie's eyes when she saw Nate's bloody face. Mckay got fez off of Nate and Natalie ran over to check his pulse. "We have to get him to a hospital. Maddy where are your keys, can we take your car?" Natalie asked.

"Yeah here." Maddy said and gave her the keys before helping Mckay and Cassie pick him up.

Natalie was pissed at fez she didn't know why he did it. She knew Nate was fucked up. She knew he needed his ass beat. But fez didn't need to go this far.
