You are absolutely exhausted. Work kicked your ass today and you couldn't wait to get home to your loving boyfriend, Newt. You were dying for his touch.

You're currently walking to your flat in London. You always preferred walking to apparating, especially now that it's your favorite time of the year. The crisp autumn air was nipping at your flushed face. Leaves were crunching under your bare feet because you had taken off your heels. You were near your flat when you decided to just apparate home with what little energy you had left.

"Newt, honey, I'm home!" You called out gently as you plopped down onto the couch with a sigh.
Newt walked into the room, noticing you were near sleep on the couch. "Hello love, are you sleepy?"
You felt the couch sink a bit next to you. You smile with your eyes closed. "A bit, but I want to see you" You drug out the "you" as you glanced at Newt adoringly.

Newt smiled at you with matching adoration, "I'm sure you do sweetheart, but it appears you need to eat and go to bed."

At that, you started to pout childishly. You really just wanted Newt right now. You dropped your head onto Newt's shoulder. "But babeee I'm sleepy and I wanna spend time with you."

"Okay. How about I carry you to our bedroom and we get changed into our PJs, and then we just cuddle. Does that sound good to you?"
You pouted for a split second and then you broke out into a grin. You couldn't pretend anymore, that sounded absolutely heavenly to you. "That sounds good."

Newt stands up and picks you up bridal style. He carried you all the way to your shared bedroom. Newt was so gentle and soft that you nearly drifted off into his arms. Once you both reached the bed, he set you down on your side. "Stay put im going to go get your pajamas."

You smiled as your head lolled to the side. You could barely keep your head up because of your exhaustion. When Newt returned to your side, he handed you your pajamas. "You can change in here and I'll go change in the restroom."

You smiled again at how respectful your boyfriend, of nearly a year, was. He was so adorable. After you changed into your pajamas, you passed out. Your body decided you needed to sleep. You fell asleep to thoughts of your caring lover.

Shortly after you fell asleep, Newt returned. He saw you cuddled into the covers and his heart burst. He thought you were the most adorable human in the world.

"I can't wait to marry you someday. Goodnight, love." Newt kissed your forehead as he climbed into bed beside you. He thought you couldn't hear him but you did and smiled. He wrapped his arm around your waist and you buried your head into his chest. Both of you drifted of to sleep with the same thought on your minds.

"How did I ever get so lucky?"
