"You hold on to it for me... and I'll hold onto this." He said showing his and On-jo's name tag and kissed her.

"Su-hyeok, Su-Ho go to the first floor and take care of On-Jo" Cheong-san said before leaving.

"Cheong-san!" On-jo said.

"Hey! All of you. Come after to me! Today I am... the happiest guy in this school!" Cheong-san yelled while the others were silently crying.

"Come on, everyone. This is it." Su-Hyeok said "We have to go."

"Nam-ra, let's go." Su-Ho said helping Nam-ra get up because she was in pain due to the loud noise. After that everyone left.

While they were leaving they all heard an explosion. All of there hope of Cheong-san being alive is gone.  SU-hyeok went to On-Jo. 

"Let's go." Su-hyeok said . "On-jo, let's go." 

"I can't go on like this." On-jo said. "I'm sorry. Can you wait for just a sec? Actually, never mind. Go ahead. I'll catch up with you." She said then she started to walk away. Su-Ho grabbed Nam-ra's hand while walking towards Su-hyeok. 

"we'll go with her." Su-Ho said. 

"I'll go, too." Su-hyeok said. Then they followed On-Jo. They made there way to the school going to the place that they Cheong-san was went. 

"Hey, Cheong-san." On-Jo said. "Cheong-san! Cheong-san, you're such a jerk!' On-Jo said. Nam-ra let go of Su-Ho's hand and went towards On-Jo. 

"Let's go." Nam-ra said while tearing up. "I don't smell anything. There's no one here. Let's say bye to Cheong-san... and go." She said then went to hug On-jo. Su-ho also went up to On-Jo and hugged her. 

They were all back together and they started walking towards a little town. Nam-ra held Su-ho's hand making Su-Ho look at her and smiled a little bit. After a little while Nam-ra started to talk. 

"The soldiers saw that we were at the school." Nam-ra said. "They left us there without helping us, and then they bombed it. Maybe they actually want us to die."

"I don't believe that." Su-ho said 

"I think it's all because of me. Because we were with zombies, they must think we're neither a zombie nor human, like me. Maybe that's what they thought."

"Don't talk like that, we promised to stay with each other."

Is it really okay for me to stay with you guys like this?"

"You're still my best friend and hopefully my future girlfriend and our class president. We couldn't have made it this far without you.' Su-Ho said making Nam-ra smile at what she said. 

"Still..." Nam-ra said 

"You haven't turned yet, and you never will." Su-Ho said while looking at Nam-ra and squeezing her hand.

"I really wanna do that again in the future.' Nam-ra said. "That was my first time sitting around a fire with friends. We'll be able to do that again, right?"

"Let's do it again tonight." Su-ho says. Mi-jin sighs 

"What the hell?" Mi-jin says 

" What's wrong?" Hyo-ryeong asks 

"shit. I think we're lost." Mi-jin says 

"There's no trail?: hyo-ryeong says 

"There hasn't been a trail for a while. I think we've been going in fսcking circle."

 Why did you come this way if there was no trail? If we go down the wrong way, it will be Hyosan." Dae-su says 

"Ha-ri. Look. There's something there." Wu-Jin says to his sister and they all start going to it 

"Someone must have left it here." Ha-ri says 

"Who did something so nice, huh?" Mi-jin says. "A ginseng digger?" Ha-ri ignored her 

"There's another one." Ha-ri says and they all went to it. They followed the yellow tags. The yellow tags led them to a little town. 

"Didn't he say to go to Yangdong?" Dae-su says

"You don't think there are zombies here, too, do you?" Hyo-Ryeong asks

"No way. Maybe they evacuated, because it's next to Hyosan." Su-hyeok says 

"Hey, I'm getting a bad feeling about this." 

"Where is everyone?" Nam-ra says 

"We're okay here." ha-ri says 

"Why? How do you know that?" Mi-jin says 

"There are no broken windows, or blood on the streets. It wouldn't be this clean if there had been a zombie rampage." Ha-ri says. They were all walking then Nam-ra stopped, Su-Ho looked at her. 

"What?" Su-Ho asked 

"Hold on." Nam-ra says. Nam-ra took a sniff of the air then turns around 

"What's up? You hear something?" Su-ho asks 

"Zombies." Nam-ra says 

"Where, though?" On-jo asks 

Everywhere. A lot... A lot of them One, two, three... four, five, six... seven, eight... nine, ten, eleven... " Nam-ra says. Then they hear growling. "Run." Nam-ra syas and they all start to run. While they were running Nam-ra took off her eye patch. 

As they were running the boys fell and they all grabbed a weapon and was ready to attack the zombies. Su-Ho got in front of Nam-ra to protect her. Soon they heard the zombies and they start to fight them. Everyone was helping each other fight the zombies. 

One got on top and Su-Ho and was about to bite her but Nam-ra grabbed the zombie and broke his neck. 

'Ha-ri!" Wu-jin yelled as he saw a zombie running towards his sister and got in front of his sister and they fell and the zombie started to bite Wu-Jin on the neck. 

Hyo-Ryeong and Dae-su ran towards them while hitting the zombie. 

"Get off of him!" Dae-su said. Then the killed the zombie and they saw the bite mark on Wu-jin's neck. 

"Wu-jin." Ha-ri says Dae-su: 

"Damn it. Oh, no." Dae-su says

"Fuck! I knew this would happen." Wu-jin says  

"It's okay. It's okay." Ha-ri says 

 "I knew it." Wu-Jin says 

 "Wu-jin, look at me." Ha-ri says 

 "Ha-ri. You really made it to the nationals?"

"Mm-hm, I... I did."

"Liar."

"You came to school, because you failed the preliminaries. Or else, you'd be at the tournament. If you lost, you should've gone home, why did you come to the damn school?"

"I'm sorry." 

"Hey. Keep doing archery." 

"Okay?"

"Mm-hm."

"Don't give up. Okay?" 

"Yeah. Yeah." Ha-ri says as tears are coming out of her eyes. Wu-jin's bones start to crack

"Wu-jin Im sorry" Ha-ri says. Mi-jin was about to stabb Wu-jin but Ha-ri shook her head. 

"No. No. Not Wu-jin, please." Ha-ri says. "Don't do it." 

"Fuck." mi-jin says 

The Wu-jin starts turned into a zombie and he got up and was about to attack Ha-ri but Nam-ra grabbed him and broke hid neck. Dae-su  started crying on Su-hyeoks shoulder. Everyone was tearing up. 

"If we run now, we're going to make it. We should have enough time." Nam-ra says 

"I know I've killed a lot of zombies myself, but a human being would apologize for killing her brother right in front of her." Wu-jin says harshly. Nam-ra started to breath heavily and started to tear up Su-ho noticed and grabbed her. 

"Hey lets go" Su-Ho said and they both started to run. Su-Ho was a bit in front of Nam-ra but kept looking back to see f she was still behind her. 

As they were running Su-Ho looked back and did not see her behind them. 

"Wait a sec." Su-Ho said and stopped running 

"What?" Su-hyeok said 

"Nam-ra's gone." Su-Ho said. "I'll be right back." Su-ho said then ran to find Nam-ra 

"Su-ho!" On-jo says 

"Hey, Su-ho." Dae-su says 

"You okay on your own?" On-Jo asked 

"What are you going to do?" Dae-su asked 

"Go ahead. I'll catch up." On-Jo said then ran with Su-Ho. As they were running they found Nam-ra eating a dead persons body.

"Hey, Nam-ra. Why are you all by yourself?" Su-Ho said while walking colser to her. "Let's go." 

"Stay back." Nam-ra says 

"Come on. Come with us. Mm?" 

"I said stay back!" Nam-ra yelled and ran towards Su-Ho and got on top of her and was going to bite her 

"Nam-ra!" On-Jo yelled while trying to get Nam-ra off of Su-Ho.

"Nam-ra. It's me, Su-Ho. Nam-ra, don't do this." Su-Ho said 

"Nam-ra! Nam-ra." On-Jo said. After a little while Su-Ho put her arms down. 

"You can bite me. It's okay. It's okay. Trust me. It's okay, Nam-ra." Su-Ho said while moving her head to the side giving room for Nam-ra to bite her neck. Nam-ra started crying then she got up and left. 

"Nam-ra!" Su-Ho yelled and got up and was going to chase after her but On-Jo held her back. 

"Nam-ra we promised we will get out of her together!" Su-Ho said but Nam-ra already left. Su-Ho then started to cry in On-Jo's arms. 

"Up ahead! Survivors confirmed." A solider said. They made it to safety everyone was sad they all lost someone that they loved. Su-Ho doesn't fell the same without Nam-ra, Cheong-san and Su-hyeok lost their best friend, and On-Jo lost her dad. 

They were taken to the shelter. They were all taken to get question, when they were done with that they all parted there ways. 

FEW DAYS LATER

Su-Ho was on her own every day, she tried looking for On-Jo but never could find her. She thought about Nam-ra she wondered if she was still alive, if she is safe. Su-Ho was sitting down on the floor in her own thoughts until she heard someone call her name. 

"Su-Ho". someone  said. Su-Ho looked up and saw On-Jo she smiled at girl then got up and started to walk.

"Where have you been? I couldn't find you. I saw the others a few times around here." Su-Ho said. 

"I wanted to see them, but I couldn't do it. I thought it might remind me." On-Jo said

"Will you forget if you don't see them?" Su-Ho said 

 I went to the mountain last night and saw a campfire." On-Jo said making Su-Ho to stop walking and look at her. "I think someone lit a fire on the school rooftop."

" On the rooftop? Are you sure about that?"

 "I could have been mistaken, but I'm pretty sure."

 "Nam-ra said that we should have a campfire if we should ever meet again." Su-Ho said

"I plan on going tonight."

"I'll go with you." Su-Ho said and On-Jo nodded her head.

"Don't tell the others." Su-Ho nodded. 

FEW HOURS LATER

"I told you not to tell the others." On-Jo said 

"I only told Su-hyeok and I also told him to to tell." Su-Ho said while glaring at Su-Hyeok.

"She said she will call the cops if I don't tell her." Sy-hyeok said while pointing at Mi-Jin. 

"Whatever lets go" On-Jo said. 

They made it to the rooftop of the school and they saw the fire but they did not see Nam-ra. Su-Ho felt a little disappointed. Then Su-Ho felt a little tap on her back. She turned around and saw the girl that she's been thinking about. 

"Nam-ra" Su-Ho yelled and hugged the girl. Nam-ra smiled and hugged her back. 

"You made it." Nam-ra said. "I wanted to go see you, but I didn't think I should."

"No, it's okay." Su-Ho said while looking at her

"Let's go. Come with us.' On-Jo said

"I still have things that I have to do."

"What things?" Su-Hyeok asked 

"Mmm... There are some others like me. Some of them ran away from the school a while ago, but there are still a few left."

"You're not a zombie. Don't say that." Su-Ho said

"You know how we're not really kids, but also not quite adults yet, either? That's like me. I'm neither a human... nor a monster.' 

"You're not. Please stay." On-Jo said 

"It'll be okay." Nam-ra said. "We're friends even if we're apart. Okay?" On-Jo nodded

"Yes, you're right. Wherever we are, we'll be friends" Su-Hyeok said. Nam-ra looked at Su-Ho and held her hand. 

"Come with me" Nam-ra said  

"Really?" Su-Ho said. Nam-ra nodded. 

"See ya'll around." Nam-ra said and held Su-Ho then jumped off the roof.
