Chapter 33

Doeun's POV

After we talked with Suzy, laughing and telling each other jokes, we left after Yeonjun made her porridge.

"Hey Yeonjun, you should take Doeun home."

Taehyun said to the older one, "We don't want something to happen to her."

"Umh." Yeonjun responded monotonously and TXT walked their own ways from Soobin's house. The walk home, I kept noticing Yeonjun keeping a distance with me.

I glanced at him, but his eyes just stared straight ahead, without giving me any attention.

"Yeonjun!" I exclaimed.

He slowly turned his head to my face and narrowed his eyes.

"Umh?" Yeonjun asked.

"H-how was school for you?" I asked him. He just shrugged and looked away from me.

"Why are you asking?"

I bit my lips, "I was just wondering!" I tried to say as cheerful as I could.

He didn't seem like he wanted to talk, but I pressed him to say something.

"Did you have a lot of homework?" I asked.

"No."

"Did someone mess with you during class?"

"No."

"What about grades? Are you stressed because of them?"

"No."

"How abou-

"Can you stop talking to me." He turned to me and furrowed his brows.

Ooooooo......Kay.....well...I'm out of ideas to try to talk to him.

"N-never mind." I mumbled and he pointed his head to my house.

"Goodnight." He said while walking away, but I ran after him, and pulled his waist shoving it near mine into a back hug.

"Goodnight." I leaned my head to his shoulder and he gave me a small smile before walking away into the darkness.

I let go of him and sighed. Where did I go wrong with this?

No one's POV

Chaeryoung suspiciously scrolled through her phone to find one of the playboys that she knew through instagram.

"Hmpf, this one." She tapped on a mischevious' guy's photo. Kim Hansung.

She brought the phone to her ear and called him,

"Hi Hansung, can you do a favor for me?"

"What? What do you need now?"

"I need you to get with this girl, Kang Doeun, I'll send you a picture."

"Why?" Hansung from the other line looked at the photo that Chaeryoung sent. "Hm, she's pretty."

Chaeryoung rolled her eyes and thought to herself, *what part of her is pretty exactly?*

"Anyways, I need you to get her to trust you, and in front of this boy," she sent a picture of Yeonjun, and smirked. "Kiss her in front of him."

Hansung rolled his eyes. "And what will you do for me if I do this for you?"

"I'll pay you."

"How much?"

"$1500, if not I'll pay you more."

"I'll do it."

Chaeryoung hung up in glee and gave Hansung Doeun's number and where to find her after school and her address.

The next day in school, Hansung arrived at Doeun and TXT's school. He smirked and approached the girl that looked identical to the one on his phone.

"Bingo," Hansung smirked.

Hansung purposefully bumped into Doeun with a coffee in his hand.

"Oh, I'm so sorry," He smiled with his eyes, trying to look as attractive as possible. Doeun widened her eyes,

"O-oh, it's fine.." She sighed at her coffee stenched school uniform.

"I'll give you the laundry fee," Hansung smiled to the small girl in front of him, "And I'll buy you an outfit because I feel bad about spilling my coffee all over you."

"Oh no you don't have to buy me anything I'm fine-

"Ah ah," Hansung leaned to her face which she leaned back to, "No buts sweetheart. I'll meet you after school for our outing."

Yeonjun in the distance, spotted Doeun talking with another guy. He huffed and walked over to the two beings.

"Is there a problem here?"

Doeun turned around and she saw Yeonjun with a glare flashing through his face.

"O-oh, Yeonjun..." Her voice trailed off, "He just accidentally spilled his coffee all over me so he wanted to pay for my laundry fee."

Yeonjun glared at Hansung before yanking Doeun's wrist to him and walked away.

Doeun's POV

Yeonjun harshly threw my wrist sideways.

"Who is he?" He folded his arms. I rubbed my wrist in pain,

"He just spilled a bit of coffee on me. It's okay though, I'm fine." I said, reassuring him.

"Are you sure there's nothing going on between you and him?" He asked me with stern eyes, and I just snickered.

"There's nothing. I met him a few minutes ago." I said shrugging.

Yeonjun folded his arms and glared at me.

"You've been acting weird for the past few days Yeonjun..." I said wrinkling my nose. "Is there something wrong?"

Yeonjun looked away from me and sulked. "There's nothing wrong."

I held his arm, "There is something wrong, that's why I'm asking you."

He gently shook my touch off his arm and he dusted himself off.

"I need to go to class. I'll see you during lunch," Yeonjun said coldly and tried to walk away but I grabbed his wrist yanking him backwards.

"Yeonjun what's wrong with you?" I persisted on him answering me, "You've never acted this way before, perhaps did I do something-

"Can you let go of me?!"

He yelled and I let go of him, slowly letting my hand drop to my side.

I looked at him in shock and my lips quivered.

"Stop asking me about this," Yeonjun said glaring, "You didn't do anything wrong so leave me alone."

With that, his eyes that were like daggers cut me all the way and he turned back to go into the school.

I scoffed out of disbelief.

Yeonjun was acting weird...and I just didn't know why, how could I help him if he's pushing me away?
