When the twins finally showed up at the host club room, it didn't take long for them to begin throwing things at each other. When they finally stopped, Tamaki-senpai just had to make the situation worse. Such an idiot...

"Ugh, don't you guys think that maybe, it's time for you to give up all this fighting? It's driving me insane," he complained.

"What did you say? It's driving you insane?" the pink-haired twin spoke accusingly. "You've got to be kidding me! How do you think I feel right now? Everytime-" I stopped listening. I didn't want to hear him complain over this stupid argument.

I looked over at the other hosts. They all seemed interested in their argument. Even Ootori was paying attention. Although he tried to pretend like he wasn't, I could tell. He was sitting on one of those sofas with his notebook opened in front of him. His head might've been angled down, but his eyes were definitely on the twins. He's probably a huge gossiper. I know he's always in other people's business.

I know this argument has been going on for like a day, but it feels like forever. I don't even remember what started their argument.

I flinched when Tamaki-senpai screamed. One of the twins, Kaoru, was holding up a little wooden doll. I had no idea why Tamaki-senpai was so scared until Kaoru announced, "Beelzenef, the curse doll!"

A curse doll. Where did that come from? They actually believe in that stuff?

"I'm going to complete the curse, Hikaru. I'm going to write your name on his back!" Kaoru brought a sharpie to the back of the wooden doll. "From this day forward you're going to experience nothing but misfortune and sorrow!" He shouted as he scribbled something down.

Haruhi ran over to them in an instant. She threw her fist onto the top of the twins' heads and scolded them like a mother would. "Will you guys knock it off? What do you think you're doing bringing something like that into a petty fight?"

I probably would've been more upset about this whole thing if I actually believed in something like curses and black magic.

"Both of you are at fault here, but what's really sad is that you've brought everyone else around you into your big mess!"

Now I agreed with Haruhi. These guys never think about how their actions affect other people. I crossed my arms and watched as she continued to yell at the brothers.

"Now, apologize to each other. If you don't make up right now, I'm never gonna let you come over to my house! Have I made myself clear?"

She finished yelling at them, and my eyes widened. In the heat of the moment, she probably didn't realize what she was saying, but I did.

The twins definitely did too. The room was silent for a moment, but when that passed, the twins, with giant smirks, asked, "So, then what you're saying, Haruhi, is that if we can make up, we can come over to your place?"

The look of realization spread across her face. She turned over the doll to read what Kaoru had written there. I don't know what he wrote, but Haruhi shouted when she saw it.

"I'm so sorry, Kaoru. Even thought I was just following our script, I said such awful things to you. I'm not fit to be your brother!" My jaw clenched out of frustration.

"Don't say that, Hikaru. I was so worried. I couldn't live with myself if I had ever thought I hurt you!" The two embraced each other as they reassured each other.

"You guys are truly... unbelievable." I stared blankly at the brothers. I was split between glaring at them or smiling because I called it. I had a feeling something about their whole argument was off. "So, you did all that, all that arguing, and throwing, and-" I stopped myself. I shook my head and decided it wasn't worth arguing with the brothers. I just can't believe how manipulative these guys are. It's just... unbelievable.

"You gotta be kidding! You mean you guys were faking it the whole time?" groaned Honey-senpai.

"We didn't have anything else to do!"

"We were bored!"

"I don't care what kind of deal you two made with Haruhi. I'm not inviting you into my house," I grumbled.

"Oh, come one, Kofuyu! Are you really angry at us?" Hikaru and Kaoru threw their arms over each other's shoulder and leaned towards me. I hate the way that they tower over me.

"You two need to find a better way to spend your time. I dunno get a dog or something." I pulled away from them, so their arms fell to their sides. I sat down beside Ootori with my arms crossed over my chest.

The twins watched me with blank expressions. They looked at me, then Ootori, then each other. I don't understand why, but I didn't want to question them.

"Come on, Fuyu!~" Hikaru and Kaoru followed me.

"That's not my name."

"That's what Honey-senpai calls you," the pink-haired twin reasoned.

"Yeah, and you're not Honey-senpai," I grumbled. Honey-senpai giggled, but I ignored it. I don't want to talk to the twins right now. They're just so unbelievably irritating.

"You really wouldn't invite any of us in?"

"Not even if it was Kyoya?"

I stared at them for a few seconds. Tamaki gasped quietly. I didn't look at him directly but he was staring at me like I was going to explode.

"What are you even talking about?" I scoffed. "I'm not inviting any of you, other than Haruhi, into my house." The twins snickered, and I rolled my eyes.

They couldn't possibly know...

I watched as the twins looked to Haruhi, and she shook her head, disapprovingly.

"Whatever you say..." Hikaru said dismissively.

"Just know, one of these weekends, we'll be there," warned Kaoru.

My eyes moved from the sidewalk to Haruhi. She was silently staring in the direction we were walking in.

"Haruhi," I called. "Why did the twins say that earlier?" I tried to keep my voice as un-accusing as possible, but I know the tone still slipped through. If anyone knew, it would be Haruhi, but I didn't want to believe that she would tell other people.

"Huh? What are you talking about- Oh," she stopped when she realized. "It's not a big deal. It's just this stupid joke they make when you're not around. They say stuff like you'd be a great couple, or that you two are more alike than you'd admit."

"Oh."

"Don't worry. I wouldn't tell them anything that I've seen between you two," answered Haruhi.

"I don't know what you're talking about," I denied. Haruhi hummed like she knew I was lying, but she wasn't going to say anything else on the subject.

It wasn't like I was ever going to "make a move" on Ootori anyway. I'm perfectly happy just waiting until these feelings fade, and I can go back to normal.
