Manik's car entered the mansion gate. Both of them got down and were about to enter the mansion when Manik spotted Mahir sitting on the pavement of their lawn. Confused, Manik and Nandini looked at each other. Manik mouthed the word 'Dad' while nandini ohhed.

Both walked towards him. Mahir was staring at his phone screen. Lone tears were escaping his eyes while he stared at the mobile screen with love filled eyes. Manik and nandini walked upto where Mahir was sitting while Mahir was too lost to care about his surroundings.

Manik placed his hand on Mahir's shoulder. Mahir's eyes widened in shock and fear. He turned around and saw manik standing there. In fear he stood up with a jerk causing his cell to slip from his hands and fall on the grass. Manik's scrunched his brows together seeing Mahir in such a state.

Manik eyed the phone that was lying on grass. He bend down to pick Mahir's phone. Before manik could grab the phone Mahir snatched it. His face was covered in sweat while he was breathing heavily. Manik was now puzzled seeing his father like this.

Manik:Dad aap theek toh hai? Aap aise? Woh bhi yahan lawn main?

Mahir: na...nah....nahi.....ku.....kuch nahi.....woh...woh main

Mahir internally breathed and closed his eyes.

Mahir:woh bade Dino baad yahan aaya na toh socha thodi der khuli hawa main baith jao. Bas isiliye.

Manik: Dad aap ro rhe the? Kuch toh hua hai? Nyonika ne kuch bola? Aur aap toh Malhotra Industries gayeeee.......

Manik's eyes widened in realisation as to what possibly could have happened there.

Manik: Did you.....did you by any chance encounter Nyonika with......

Manik was interrupted by Mahir.

Mahir: chhod na manik!

A sudden silence spread in the surrounding. Nandini who was standing only for manik suddenly started feeling that she shouldn't have come there. She was all fidgety. Mahir who saw her smiled and looked at manik who was angry and was burning in rage ready to explode any moment, but more than that he was embarrassed.

Mahir placed his hand on Manik's shoulder. Manik looked up. He was about to apologise to Mahir. Inspite of knowing that Nyonika would be upto another of her cheap acts he let Mahir go all alone there. Mahir nodded his head in a no. He then pointed towards nandini and raised his eyebrows. Manik had a faint smile on his lips and he nodded yes.

Mahir: toh tum ho woh angel jiske aane se mere manik ka Dil parivartan hogya.

Nandini's eyes widened for a second followed by red colouration of her cheeks. Manik too bit his lips while Mahir was controlling himself from not burst out laughing.

Manik: Daddddd!

Mahir: badi soni kudi hai!

Mahir patted nandini's head who in return smiled sweetly.

Mahir: betaji aap kaha iss nalayak se saath phas gaye!

Manik: hawwww dad!

Manik pulled nandini in his embrace.
Nandini was all shocked, shy, embarrassed.

Manik: iss baat se toh nandini bhi agree karegi ki I m the best for her. Huh!

Nandini pushed manik and went and stood beside Mahir

Nandini: excuse me Mr. Malhotra! Kisne kaha aapse yeh! Iss galat phemi main bilkul mat rehna ki aap mere liye best hai. Aapse aur bhi better choices thi mere paas.

Manik: acchaaawwwww!

Nandini nodded with a sly smile.

Manik: toh kyu nahi gayi aapki "better choices" ke pass

Nandini: woh toh aap pe taras kha liya maine. Waise tum itne bure nahi ho. Philhal ke liye kaam chala lungi main.

Manik narrowed his eyes and looked at her while she smirked and hi-fied with Mahir. Manik rolled his eyes.

Manik: excellent! You know what main jaa rhi hoon apni chachi ke paas. Aap dono baith ke yaha na gappe maaro.

Nandini: jalkukde kahi ke!

Manik: whattttt???

Nandini: jalkukde ho tum ek number ke. Jalan ho rhi hai tumhe. Waise let me tell you ab mera palrda aur bhi bhaari hai.

Manik: what plarda????

Nandini: Arrey ab dekho pehle sirf Fab5 meri side pe tha. Lekin ab toh uncle bhi meri side hai. Bach ke rehna manik Malhotra. Meri team aap se zyada strong hai

Manik: haan toh mere paas bhi chacha chachi aur Rishabh hai.

Nandini: tch tch manik your team is only of 3 members. Jab ki meri team main hai 5 members.

Nandini showed him her tongue.

Nandini: Sahi bola na maine uncle!

Mahir: uncle! Arrey yaar main kis angle se uncle lagta hoon.....Abhi mei umar hi kya hai.

Nandini: yeh baat bhi hai toh aap hi bata dijiye kya bulao main aapko.

Mahir: ab tum jaise khubsurat ladki toh sirf kisi ki girlfriend ho sakti hai. Tum thoda pehle mili hoti toh pakka tumhe propose kar leta.  But kya kare tum toh already kisi aur ki girlfriend ho.

Nandini: Arrey toh ab bna lijiye apni girlfriend. Iss jalkukde ki fikr mat kijiye aap.

Manik was standing toh here gaping at the duo. They were talking as if manik didn't exist.

Nandini whispered: waise bhi mera jo yeh monster boyfriend hai na woh bohot hi zyada booooooring hai.

Nandini nodded with a sad face while Mahir tched.

Mahir: so done deal girlfriend.

Nandini: done deal boyfriend.

Manik rolled his eyes. He turned and walked around. Mahir pulled him back causing manik to stumble a little and fall in Mahir's arms. Wrapping his one arm around manik and another around Nandini he side hugged both of them.

Mahir murmured: nautanki....

Manik and Nandini both were showing tongues to each other.

Mahir:accha ab bohot hua....Ab woh karle jo karne aaye hai. Waise bhi thand badh rahi hai.....I don't want my kids catching cold. Chale ander.....

Manik:Noooooooo wait! I have a plan.

Mahir: what plan....

Manik discussed his plan. Mahir immediately agreed while nandini face palmed herself. Already the situation was so dangerous...and here manik had come up with another of his plans to trouble Nyonika. And on top of that Mahir too agreed. Both were smiling evilly while nandini looked at her aiyappa to help them.

Mahir made a few calls while on the other hand manik too was doing something with the security system machines. Nandini was roaming around there biting her nails.

Manik: come on nandini let's go.....time for some action....

Manik looked at nandini who was looking at him and Nodding her head negatively. Manik sighed and walked closer to her. He cupped her face and placed a lingering kiss on her forehead calming her down.

Nandini: mani what is the need to do all this.....also main kyu.....Matlab Tim aur uncle deal kar loge usse na....phir mujhe kyu.....

Manik: Nandini I won't let her go easily for all the insults she threw at you or your family. Don't you think that I don't know how she behaved with Amms during that musical workshop. Or when she spoke roughly to chachi who had come here to wish me a well recovery. Or the way she helped Pandit kidnap you. Tumhe kya lagta hai main nahi jaanta ki how much this has hurt you and your family. Just because you guys believe in forgive and forget doesn't mean it hasn't hurt you all. You know main chahta tha ki woh sabse maafi mange
..... but yeh tum bhi jaanti ho aur main bhi ki woh aisa karegi nahi aur shayad aisa kuch bolde jo tumhari family ko aur hurt kare.

Nandini simply nodded.

Nandini: but manik that's all in the past na. Kya farak padta hai. Jab humne bhula diya uss baat ko phir kyu chhedna usse wapas. Aur waise bhi doing something like this is wrong. Tum jo karne jaa rahe ho woh naa sirf uske liye lekin uncle and for your entire Malhotra family ek shame ban sakta hai.

Manik: pehli baat toh yeh ki naa mujhe naa dad ko fikr hai ki uske saath kya hoga. Dusri kis family ki baat kar rahi ho tum jo aaj tak ek baar yeh dekhne nahi aayi ki main theek hoon ya nahi. Zinda hoon ya Mar gaya hoon. Being a punjabi I have a very big family lekin unn main se ek ne bhi aaj tak mujhe kabhi milna toh chhodo phone tak nahi kiya. And please don't tell me they couldn't find me.

Manik snorted.

Manik: Nyonika Malhotra and Mahir Malhotra ka son har pandra main news channel pe hota hai. Har teesre din business magazines ke front page pe Mahir Malhotra ki photo hoti hai. Aur Har roz Page 3 pe Nyonika Malhotra ki photos. Was it so difficult to trace me?

Nandini nodded her head in a no and wiped the corners of manik's eyes. She kissed right on his mole. Manik closed his eyes and pulled her in a hug. He was inhaling her scent trying to cool his senses. He couldn't let his emotions ruin tonight's unfolding drama. He was the one who needed to get over with this Nyonika chapter as soon as possible. He was the one who wanted to get free of her evil clutches.

They broke apart and nandini smiled and nodded. Manik felt the confidence resurfacing back in him. He too smiled. Mahir who had been looking at the seen from far turned around and pretended to be busy in his cell not wanting to make his children feel awkward.

Manik and nandini walked inside the mansion hand in hand. Nyonika was seated on the dining table. Fear could clearly be seen on her face. Manik wanted to end this right away by finish everything in just one simple step. Yet the monster in him instigated him to go ahead with his sinister plan.

Manik went and sat on the dining table opposite to Nyonika. Startled with the sudden movements Nyonika looked up to see Manik in front of her. She looked at him all perplexed. Following Manik, Nandini too sweat beside him. Seeing Nandini there Nyonika clutched the fork tightly. How much she hated her? Why? Because she would snatch away that Nyonika had built over all these years.

Manik turned over the plates and started serving him and nandini. He winked at nandini.

Manik: ufff! Itni bhook lagi hai...  kya batao main....

Nandini fidgeting with the spoons, pretended to eat. While Nyonika was boring holes into Manik, who acted totally oblivious to it.

Manik: waise you know what Nandini?

Nandini: wha....whattttt?

Manik leaned closer to her and whispered in her ears.

Manik: thodi toh natural acting kar lo yaar. Stop getting nervous.

Nandini: Manikkkkk.....

Manik: shush! Trust me jaana.....

Nandini gave a small smile while manik too reciprocated. Nyonika who saw them whispering amongst themselves felt like stabbing the fork right through nandini's neck. Their closeness irked her.

Nyonika:WHAT.IS.THIS.COMMONER.DOING HERE.MANIK?

Nyonika gritted her teeth. She was trying her best not to yell and scream.

Manik: come on Nyonika.....girlfriend hai yaar meri.....you know actually hum date pe jaane wale the but woh kya hai na main bohot tired tha due to travelling toh Humne socha why not shift the date at MY HOUSE.

Nyonika rolled her eyes. She looked at Nandini.

Nyonika: get over with all your crap and out of my house.

Manik: tch tch tch nyonikaaaaa...... ek free ki advice please jaake na apne ears check karva lo. You need it.

Seeing manik's fake pitiful expression, Nandini coughed to hide her laughter while manik too smirked. Nyonika's facial nerves tightened.

Nyonika: stop talking bullshit manik

Manik: what bullshit.....Sahi toh bol raha hoon.....Ab main keh raha hoon ki yeh ghar mera hai phir tumhari rat
Lagayi baithi ho "MY HOUSE" , "MY HOUSE"

Nyonika: meaning??

Manik: oh sorry I forgot you are not that smart. Anyways I m really tired to explain the meaning of simple sentences to you......you see whole day of travelling to PUUUUNEEE has drained out all the energy out of me.

Nyonika's face paled. The colour drained from her face.

Nyonika: pu....pu...pune

Manik: you seriously need a doctor Nyonika.

Nyonika: why did you go to pune manik?

Manik: Arrey Ofcourse to meet my father. What is wrong with you my dear mother!

Nyonika was getting frustrated with manik's twisted talks. The mere mention

Nyonika: manik stop beating around the bush and come to the point. Manik smiled evilly. Before he could say something a voice from the main door interrupted them. Manik smirked looking at Mahir standing at the door. While Nyonika felt her blood freezing.

Mahir: Let ME come to the point Mrs. Nyonika Mahir Malhotra.....

Nyonika: Mr. Malhotra.......

Mahir: oh! You remember me! I m surprised. I thought you had forgotten who your REAL husband actually is.

Nyonika: Mr. Malhotra I.....I think there is some miscommunication. Let's go to my....I mean....Our room and talk and let the kids enjoy their date.

Mahir raised his eyebrows while manik role his eyes seeing her acting

Manik: do you still thinks you can fool dad with your terrible acting skills!

Nyonika: manik is this the way you behave with your mother?

Manik: GAAWWWWDDDD! Nyonikaaaaaaaa......wake up my dear mommy! Your dreams overrrr.....Very Good morningggg mommaaaaaa! You are DOOMED.
