Looking around she bobbed her head to the music. The night was coming to an end. Charmaine was ready to go home and cuddle with Malani.

One of the bottle girls offered her a drink but she declined by holding her hand out.

She stood up fixing her clothes then looked at the time. She figured now was a good time to leave.

She gathered her belongings then said by to the few people she knew.

She couldn't help but to feel that someone was starring a hole in her. She turned around making eye contact with Griff. He didn't look sane at all. The look in his eyes was actually scaring her.

They were low and bloodshot red,he looked insane

She backed up against the bathroom door and Griff slowly approached her. She felt stuck. She didn't know if  he had more guys out side of the ones she noticed following up. Before he could get too close she took off running in the direction of Kain office.

She didn't plan to bring him in this again she just planned on leaving through the exit that way. Her breathing was hitched
As she ran down the hall not too long after she heard gun shots going off. Glass shattered,people screamed and the music was cut off. She fell to the ground covering herself. She looked back seeing if he was following her anymore. When she turned around she was greeted by both Omarion and Kain.

Omarion continued to run while Kain looked between the door and Charmaine.

"What the fuck happened?"he finally spoke up. He was watching the cameras then for a split second he took his eyes off and everything went down. He been having this feeling that something was going to go down lately. It was just one of those gut feelings

"I was about to leave,and I Saw him and he followed me"Charmaine was just as confused. Everything happened so quick. He didn't have time to ask anymore questions. He told her to stay put in his office and he followed up.

Omarion looked around the club. He seen the a few guys flee through the side exit.

He ran as quick as he could through the moving crowd. He got outside seeing the van pull off but he still took his chances shooting after the van hoping to cause some damage. He made sure his whole clip was emptied before he stopped. Kain soon met him outside.

"They gone man"
Kain shook his head clenching his jaw. He should have sent some guys from the cartel after Griff when he sent the written threat.

"I'm done. These bitches must take me as some kind of pussy"He said shoving his gun back into his waist band.

"I seen Char running. She straight?"
"Yeah"

"I'm going to call Seth and them so we can play this tape back"he sighed scratching his hair.

They followed each other into the now empty building. The stage was shot up,but it was nothing Kain couldn't get fixed before the end of the week.

He went back to his office and Charmaine jumped up when she saw him.
"Did anyone get hurt?"

Kain disregarded what she said and examined her.
"Are you okay?"he asked walking a circle around her.

"I'm fine did anyone else get hurt?"she asked again.

"I honestly don't know nor do I care. I got some people on the way to take a look at everything. I'm going to take you home"

"How did he know where I was?"
"I don't know he must of been plotting for some time now. I got his bitch ass though"he stroked his beard.

"No It's fine I don't want to bring you into this Kain...Just leave it alone"

"Too late for that shawty"he said starring back at her.
"This is all my fault,I'm sorry. I never meant for-"

"That nigga did the shit and that nigga is going to pay the concequences. None of this shit is your fault. I didn't like that nigga from the jump so our beef go way back before you even came in the picture...I just ended up

Charmaine stopped talking and nodded her head. No matter how much she wanted to blame herself for something Kain told her otherwise.

The song played lowly in the car while Charmaine vibed to the music from the passenger side.
It was awkward for Kain cause he knew how Charmaine felt. He turned the music down so he could speak.

"Wassup with you?"
"Nothing. Chilling I guess"she said simply.

"What'chu don't want to talk to me no more? Ever since that one day you stop fucking with me. Let me know cause it ain't nothing to leave you alone and go on about my business  "

"What are you talking about?"Charmaine scrunched her face up
"You act like cause we can't be together right now you got to stop fucking with me all the way around."

"Okay...and? You were the one who said you a busy person right? That's the reason you got me sitting here waiting on you looking dumb. Then was we not just chopping it up? "

"I got a couple minutes out of the day to talk "
"Well the phone work both ways you could have called me,just like how I could have called you."

Charmaine was beginning to get fed up. Kain was nothing but confusing.  One minute he wants this. The next he wants that or he was complaining.

"I do try to get in touch with you. You don't pick up your phone so who fault is that?"

"Cause you always call on some bullshit like this. I appreciate all the shit you have done for me,but i'm tired of this shit here. Your a contradicting confused ass nigga and I don't got time for that shit. Everytime we talk it's about this. Your obviously too busy and confused withing your self and I shouldn't even be worried about a relationship right now. You want kisses and hugs and somebody to be posted up with go hit up one of your sidelines." she sighed

"Did she just cuss me out?"

Kain wasn't sure if he wanted to mad or happy she finally voiced how she felt.

He pushed them feelings to the side and focused on the bigger picture.

"Aye man I ain't gon' chase you. You probably are right. "He stroked his facial hair keeping his left hand on the wheel.

Charmaine sighed.
"I didn't mean to cuss,and I want you to know your still my friend before anything else. This shit here is getting annoying you want to play with somebody go play with another female feelings cause i'm not the one Kain..."

"You straight. At Least you kept it a hundred with me"Charmaine was one of the few people to cuss him out of course It was a bitter sweet situation if for anything.
