Later on that night Charmaine went home and called Tiani.
She was upset that she even asked Kain to be honest with her.

After their conversation she stayed maybe an hour and told Kain and said she wasn't feeling well.

"Hello?"
"Hey T what you up to?" Charmaine said picking her nails.
"Nothing you still with Kain ?"

"Girl no I changed my mind"
"What happened?  I know you ain't gonna just ask to go home out the blue"

"Well I came to my senses "
"Spill the tea"Tiani dragged out.

"We were talking....And I realized how much of a fool I am for him"
"Finally, but how did you come to your senses"

"Well I asked him. I'm like Kain what is it that were waiting for. He keep saying he has to get his business and stuff together but I never really understood..."

"Go on"Tiani said feeling like Charmaine is going to finally realize what she had been trying to tell her.

"So he openly tells me he just got a good business opportunity and he will be in and out the country blah blah right?"

"Yea keep going "

"Then he says he still got sidelines"

"Well duh "

Charmaine kissed her teeth then continued to talk.

"So I realized. "
"Realized what?"Tiani asked hoping she learned her lesson.

"He was using me"she sighed.

Tiani sighed in relief too. There was no nice way to break it to Charmaine. It was just the dirty truth.

Kain wasn't ready to commit to a relationship. Kain was able to dictate having an actual relationship this whole time cause they did things couples would do.

Because she wasn't his girl  and they weren't actually together that meant Kain didn't have to get rid of his sidelines and he didn't have to feel bad for not giving her attention when he couldn't. If she got upset then that was on her cause they were actually "friends"

"So you finally realized how naive you were being?"
"Yeah"

"Don't say it like that. I know i'm kind of rubbing it in your face. It's just cause I been waiting for you to realize this for the longest time. Now that you know the game he is playing. You can start making it hard on him. "

"How?"
"Stop letting him tell all the guys that approch you that  yall together,stop boo loving all the time,stop all that kissing and holding hands and ...Just stop all of it"Tiani groaned.

"Okay..."

"So when you stop doing all that stuff he is going to want to  you more and the only way to get you is if he ask you out "

"Hmm"Charmaine tapped her finger on her chin. What tiani said was actually something to consider.

"You just gotta learn how to play his game,but if you play you gotta win.

"Thanks T. Enough about me how you holding up?" Charmaine smiled.
"Welcome. I'm fine I going to tell Bear this is eating me alive"

They ended up on the phone longer than she intended. Tiani ended up hanging up first cause Bear was coming over so they could talk.

Tiani wasn't sure if she was going to tell him just yet she slipped up. She wanted to find out if she was pregnant first. If she was she figured she had no choice but to tell Bear,but if she wasn't she could take her time.

She just wasn't sure what to do and she didn't have a lot of time to figure out what she was going to do either.

She shut the bedroom door That Malani and her other nieces were sleeping in. She went back to the living room trying to mentally prepare herself for the worse.

Tiani was the type to keep it real. She couldn't find it in herself to smile in someone face knowing she did dirt behind their back.

Bear used his key letting himself in the house. Tiani didn't notice his presence until he sat next to her on the couch. Feeling the dip she jumped up.

"Quincy!"She held her chest that was heaving up and down.
"My bad"he laughed a little bit. The reached down and began to take off his Kenneth cole sneakers. 

"Wassup? Why you so jumpy? Sit still"
" it's N-nothing you really....really scared me"she sat back down.

"How was your day?"

"It was cool you know? I got the girls for the weekend again"

"That's what's up. The meeting the other day went well so money gon' be coming in out the ass"

Tiani got lost in his big brown eyes.

Quincy was nothing but good to her. He was always trying his best to keep a smile on her face. In some occasions he even put her before his own blood family.

Tears streamed down Tiani cheeks. She shook her head. Bear furrowed his eyebrows.

"Why you crying?"
"I'm sorry "she said wiping her tears.

Bear was getting frustrated cause she was acting weird.
"You was cool all day today why you crying now?"he asked searching for her eyes.

She took two minute to get herself together. "I messed up. "

"Can you get to the point. This shit ain't making sense. What did you mess up?"

" I went over Ant ho-"
"After I told you to stay away from that nigga?" he laughed a little

The way Bear was scolding her. already made it no easier.

She wiped her tears again then continued to talk.
"And we ended up messing around- But it didn't go far"she said the last part quickly hoping he wouldn't interrupt her.

"What?"he scrunched up his face
"I slip-"

"TT please tell me you lieing to me right now"he held both sides of her face pinched between his thumb and index finger.

She shook her head no. He let go of her face and cleared his throat.

"So what y'all do? "
"We started "
"Nah I don't want to know if y'all started to do it straight up did  y'all fuck or not?"
"We sta-"
"I don't give no fucks what y'all started. answer my fucking question did y'all have sex? Oral,anal or what the fuck ever else there is did you have sex?"

"Yes"she put her head down in her hands crying.
Bear kissed his teeth.waving her off

"Save that shit man"he pulled her hands away so she could look at him.
He wanted her to see the hurt in his eyes.

"What the fuck you crying for? I'm the one who should be crying. You fucking make me sick"

"I might be pre-"
"You fucking serious right now? Who baby is it?"

"I don't even know if I m pregnant"

"You killing me right now. Tell me what the fuck I did to deserve this shit? You had me bent backwards to kiss your ass"

"Nothing"she touched his hand but he pulled it away"

"Find you if you pregnant or not. If you aren't don't hit my line, none of that I'm done"he started putting his shoes back on.

"Please don't do this"she stood up"
"I don't got nothing else to say to you right now. You just lost something good"he shook his head leaving out.

I just wanted to twist some things up and throw somebody else love life in there.
