"Yall cool now?"Tiani asked Charmaine while she curled a piece of hair.

"We were never...Not cool I guess I confused him.

"Oh okay...So when are you guys going to stop wasting each others time and you need to stop blaming yourself for these little arguments and disputes y'all having. Kain is just as bad as you"

"I don't know. I don't think Kain really likes me. He probably feels bad for me. "

"Why do you think that?"
"Every chance he gets he tells me there is no feelings involved an-"

"He saying that cause he is scared or has too much pride. Have you two actually sat down and had a conversation about what is you two are doing ?"

"No "Charmaine said more so irritated.
"Char one of yall if not both of yall are going to end up hurting each other in the long run. "

"Tiani I know this"Charmaine said rolling her eyes.

"Listen I gave you advice now it's up to you whether or not you take it. I just don't want you to end up heart broken"

"I don't even like him like that"

"Charmaine stop fucking lieing. All you do is talk about Kain. Now and days yall don't go nowhere without each other"

"Okay and"

"Charmaine keep it one hundred not just with me but yourself. Do you or do you not like Kain. There is nothing wrong with it if you do. "

Charmaine took a deep breath and nodded her head.
"Okay you like him so let him know. If he don't know that you feel the same then this little game yall playing is going to continue."

"I'm just scared he might not expect it or what if -"

"Stop over thinking it. Next time yall together alone just tell him"

"Okay...I guess your right"
"You damn right i'm right"Tiani flipped her hair.

Charmaine got out of her seat and went into Malani room.
"Aren't you suppose to be gone?"

"What?"Charmaine laughed at Malani.
"Can you leave so tt and I can start our party"
"So I can't stay?"Charmaine asked pretending to be hurt.

"Well..."she trailed off.

Charmaine laughed before standing.
"Give me a hug and a kiss"
Malani puckered her lips for a kiss then gave her a hug.

"I love you"they said at the same time.

"Tomorrow I will start planning that disney trip okay?"
Malani perked up and a smile spread across her face. On the inside Charmaine heart melted. She lived to see Malani happy.

"Alright see yall"Charmaine yelled loud enough for tiani to hear.
"Country ass voice"Tiani laughed.

Mentally Charmaine rolled her eyes and left out. She thanked god when she seen her creep ass landlord occupied with talking to someone.

She opened the dirty green door to the apartment building letting herself out. It was a hot day so believe lots of people were out. Kain was sitting in his car with the widows down while music blared through the speakers. He was talking to one of Charmaine neighbors through the window.

"You know I got you man. Just hit my line"Kain told whoever he was talking to.

"Yea. I'm going to head out to D.C and I'll call you when I get back.
This ya lil lady right here?"he asked nodding his head towards Charmaine when she got in his car.

"Nah"Kain laughed. All the courage Charmaine once had to talk to Kain about where they stand went out the window.

"Aight bro good looking"he said before stepping back so Kain could pull off.

"Wassup with you"
"What you mean?"Charmaine asked.

"Nevermind"he brushed hus hands over his waves before reclining his seat.

"What are we doing today?"
"Collecting money and  runs"
