"And he was gonna get you out that small ads match box of an apartment and put you in a big house and all that other fairy tail shit. Yea we all know. You wanna be hard headed I'll let you be."Kierra said. It was evident she was irritated.

Charmaine sat back in her seat while the African women installed her braids one by one,"I swear you girls is just young and dumb."The lady braiding her hair.

"No they are dumb. Never catch me fighting over a dude"Charmaine snaked her neck.

"I hear you mami. How you and Kain doing?"
Charmaine wasn't about to be spilling all her business so she kept it nice and simple,"It couldn't get any better."she half smirked.

"I know that's right. These little thots come in and out of this salon talking about that man like he ain't got a whole lady. Let me tell you these girls gonna try you until death do y'all apart."

"Oh don't I know it."Charmaine said sarcastically. She touched her hair . majority of her hair was done. Maybe six or seven more braids and she would have been finished.

She wanted to bring Malani so she could get her hair plated but,she was with Tiani.

Charmaine was leaving the hair salon. She was on her way to her apartment to grab some of her things. She had tons of clothes and shoes that were brand new. Most importantly she had things like credit cards,birth certificates and all that other important stuff there.

Charmaine was on the freeway trying to get off at the exit when Kain called her. She took her time making sure her Bluetooth was connected to her car before she picked up.

"Hello?"her soft voice sang into the phone.
A small smile spreaded across Kain face hearing her voice. She was so soft spoken.

"What you doing?"he asked her.

"On my way to my apartment to grab some stuff"she said before huffing. She was tired and the gloomy weather wasn't helping.

"Where Malani"he asked. Normally whenever they were on the phone he would hear Malani in the background but it was just to quiet.

"She still with Tiani "Charmaine pulled into one of the parking spaces. The small neighborhood only seemed to look dirtier by everyday.

The segment and concrete was cracked badly,trash everywhere. Ocasionally the light winds would blow some of it around and you could see kids who was still outside playing without coats or jackets. There was no excuse for those babies to be outside without a jacket on.

Nearly every female had the balls to go store to store stealing dumb shit but didn't have the courtesy to put a coat on their kid back or do whatever they had to do.

Charmaine took a deep breath preparing herself for anything Anastasia,Rhonda or any of the other females had to say.

Charmaine didn't see why they were so concerned. At the end of the day Kain didn't want any of them and he made it very clear so why were they still pressed?

"Did you land yet?"Charmaine asked as she got out the car. She kept her handbag clutched in her hands.

"Yeah. "He sighed rubbing his hands over his waves. Kain didn't like traveling so far. Last time he did so all hell broke loose. He didn't have a bad gut feeling but,he was always on edge.

Charmaine walked through the surprisingly quiet halls of her old apartment building. A nasty beer smell lingered in the hallways. She scrunched her face up trying not to gag at the Horriable smell.

"You there yet"Kain asked her over the phone.
"Yeah. Im about to grab my things and get the hell up out of here cause it smells disgusting."she fussed as she unlocked the apartment door.

When Charmaine entered her apartment she dropped her purse on the couch and locked the door before she headed to the back. She wanted to be in and out.

She walked to the back of her apartment where her room was. When she pushed open the door she was taken back. It was evident somebody was in her place.

Rhonda was careless when taking the stuff she desired.

Charmaine looked around frantically then rushed over to her safe that was in the corner of her room. She just hoped nothing important was stolen.

"Fuck"she cursed looking around. Her closet was cleaned out. She knew kain was going to be pissed off when he found out all his money went to waste.

She grabbed her phone from her back pocket;dialing his number. The phone rang a few times before Kain picked up.

"Wassup?"He questioned
"Somebody broke into my place and took everything"she fussed.
