Part 2

The second part should take place in Hidden Sand Village.

"Now you run to Hidden Sand Village. Failure to do so in time will result in disqualification," said Temari. Only Neji and Hinata noticed her stopwatch.

"Time is running out," they both said at the same time. Neji was 100 percent sure he had no competition except Hinata. But still some showed up.

"I thought we were first."

"Hinata, do you see anyone?" asked Ino.

"Only Neji-nii-san's team and a team from Hidden Waterfall Village."

"How?! I thought that only Neji is ahead of us!"

"I don’t know … Wait! The girl has a lot of chakra!"

"Do you see this too?"

"With my Perfect Byakugan I see everything. But that chakra isn’t normal … I think she’s a Jinchuuriki."

"Jinchuuriki?! Like Naruto?!"

"Yes, I suppose…"

"That’s so unfair…" sighed Sakura.

"Calm down, Sakura, maybe she is a Jinchuuriki, but we have Hinata! Not only that! I'm sensible and you're great medical ninja! I'm sure we'll be the chunins this year!" Hinata smiled. She wasn't so nervous anymore. Ino hugged them.

"As friends we have to help each other!" Hinata nodded.

It’s really nice to have friends…

"Too bad Hinata is not on our team. Shikamaru is just saying "what a drag" all the time."

"But Sakura! Without Shikamaru  we wouldn’t do half missions! He is the driving force behind our team due to his cleverness!"

"Yeah, you are right…"

"By the way, Hinata, how was it in the team with Sasuke-kun?"

"I'm interested in that too!"

"W-well…" Now that Sasuke had left them, she didn't like to talk about it, but she didn't want to disappoint them.

"He was cool. He even was cooperating with us … One time he saved Naruto-kun which I’m grateful for."

"Ho, so grateful, huh?"

"W-what?!" They looked scary.

"Don't you want to tell us something about that fool?"

"F-fool?"

"About N-Naruto-kun?" teased Ino.

"Heeh?!" Hinata blushed hard.

"You have it written on your face, Hinata, only that jerk doesn't know it…"

"I-I’m glad, I don’t want him to found out."

"Why? Don’t you love him?"

"I-I do, but it’s better this way."

"You are just so kind, Hinata. Think a little of yourself!" said Ino.

"What's more, I'm annoyed that he's still inviting me on a date, at least I'd get rid of him," said Sakura.

"M-maybe he really likes you, Sakura-chan."

"That’s even worse…"

"Are we approaching yet? We've been running for three days in a row. I'm really tired … ahh…" Ino yawned.

"Yes. We'll be there in three hundred meters."

"Great!" They finished third. The first was the mysterious Jinchuuriki team and the second was Neji's team.

"We did it!" Ino hugged Hinata and Sakura.

"Hinata-sama, I knew you could do it," said Neji. Neither he nor his team looked tired. That must be thanks to Might Guy.

"It’s all thanks to you, Neji-nii-san," she smiled at him. He smirked.

"But what suprises me is that we weren’t here first. Something’s weird about that team from Hidden Waterfall Village."

"It looks like she’s a Jinchuuriki."

"A-are you sure?"

"I saw her amount of chakra. It’s not normal."

"Hmm, I guess you are right, something wasn't right for me either."

"But how could they let her go to the Chunin exams. It's dangerous for her."

"Well, Naruto would also attend them if he was here. It’s her decision." Hinata nodded. Then came Temari.

"Everyone here has passed the test. Others are disqualified."

"Uhh, that was close, right, Akamaru!" said Kiba.

"If Choji wasn’t hungry, we would be here sooner," explained Shino.

"I-I’m sorry," said Choji. He was still hungry. All the genins from Hidden Leaf Village passed. Temari accommodated them and now they had the night until the next exam. Each team was accommodated in one room.

"I’m so tired! I'd rather take a bath!" said Ino.

"Good idea! What if the three of us went to the local public baths!" said Sakura.

"Do you think there are any?"

"Of course!" They went to look around the building and found it in a moment.

"I'll get us towels!" said cheerily Ino. Hinata giggled.

"The three of us never actually bathed together…" said Sakura.

"That’s true," said Hinata. She was a little ashamed.

"Ho, are you shy? You don't have to, we're all girls," said Sakura.

"I-I know, I’m just not used to it. I usually take a bath at home."

"That's why I've never seen you at the hot springs. Your clan must be rich."

"W-well…"

"Hey girls, I already have those towels!" said Ino who just came.

"Great!" Sakura and Ino were excited. Just Hinata was a little embarrassed.

"What are you doing there, Hinata, come to us!" said Ino.

"A-all right." Hinata undressed and took a towel around her. Then she came to them.

"Don't be shy, put that towel down," said Ino. Hinata nodded, though blushing. She did as Ino said, girls were shocked.

"Where did you get these?!"

"P-please don't look at them."

"You are so lucky, Hinata," said jealous Sakura. Hinata was still blushing. Ino touched them.

"They are so soft!"

"P-please don’t touch them."

"Naruto is really lucky…" they teased her.

"Uhh?! W-what are you saying?!"

"Nothing, nothing…" they giggled. Hinata didn’t understand them at all. Then she dived into the water.

"You don’t have to hide them."

"B-but they keep floating up."

"I’m so jealous of Hinata’s chest," thought Sakura. After the bath, they went to dinner. Hidden Sand Village prepared a delicious feast for them.

"Hinata-sama, are you all right? Your face is red. Don’t you have a fever?" Neji wondered.

"N-no, I just had a bath." Neji nodded. Hinata‘s stomach churned which embarrassed her even more.

"Oh, you are hungry, Hinata, take this," said Ino and smiled at her.

"T-thank you, Ino-chan."

"You're welcome." But then an unpleasant affair happened, caused by Kiba and the other boys, and all the food was destroyed. Because of this incident, Choji was still hungry and decided to go out for some food, but a giant scorpion prevented him from doing so.

"Shino, where is Choji?" asked Kiba.

"I don’t know, he should be with us." Kiba looked out the window and saw him.

"Quick, Choji is in danger!" They wanted to save him, but instead the scorpion caught them too.

"M-my beetles are useless…" But Fuu came or rather flew to save them.

"Nobody told me about this party!"

"She is enjoying it?!" said angrily Kiba.

"Kiba, be glad she's here," said Shino. Fuu saved them even though she didn't plan to.

"That was fun! Huh? You're leaving?"

"She isn’t normal," said Kiba.

"She reminds me of Naruto," said Shino.

„Really?“ asked Kiba.

"She really is a Jinchuuriki," said Neji who saw it with his Byakugan. Gaara thanked Fuu and she appreciated that, but was sad that there is no party.
