Siva's POV

I got a text off Tom saying that everything was fine with Jay and that Tom was sorting out a way in which to know about Emma and the baby. He was so persuasive, if you ever needed something doing Tom was your man!!

So I took the girls back to the entrance waiting room and we joined the rest of the lads. They were all sat down looking tired but we had been up since 6.30 this morning and it was now close to 10pm. This waiting around wasn't doing us any good... The tension was building between us.

Tom's POV

I sat there in the waiting room tapping my foot, waiting for the good doctor to come back from seeing if there was any news on Emma. I saw him walk down the corridor and i immediately stood up and walked towards him. "So, is everything okay with Emma?"

"Please follow me to my office, its needs to be private so I can explain" my stomach dropped.

We entered his small boxed office and I sat down on the chair provided.

"I'm afraid to say this to you, but Emma is in a really bad way. There was complications with her pregnancy and we had to deliver the baby early. I'm afraid the baby did not make it, he was starved of oxygen and we did our best to save him. I am really sorry."

"So Emma doesn't even know?" I asked.

"She's in a coma at the moment, she could be around as early as a few hours to a few days we're not quite sure as of yet."

I sat there taking in the information the doctor had just told me. I couldn't believe it, after Jay getting so exited about becoming a dad, well sort of and now his hopes were dashed. I've never had to break such bad news before and to him of all people. I walked out the doctors office and went straight to the bathroom to think through what I was going to say. I must have been sat there for at least a quarter of an hour.

I then walked out and walked over to the others in the waiting room. There faces were glum, and that was before I had to break the news of the baby.

I walked over to my girl Kelsey and squeezed her hand tight. She looked at me and I just nodded.

"Jay is absolutely fine as we know, but the main problem is Emma. She is in an extremely bad way and she's now in an coma because the pregnancy had major complications for her." I had to pause before I mentioned the baby. Nathan was sat infront of me and he looked back at me as if he knew I wasn't finished. I continued; "the problem is, the baby didn't make it, he died because he was starved of oxygen which I presume was to do with the complications, they tried to resuscitate him but it was too late he was gone." I then burst out crying. "Who's going to tell Jay" I cried into my hands.

"Tom, I'll do it" Siva volunteered "the sooner he knows the better, he can get his head around it before Emma wakes up and then he can decide who wants to tell Emma. He's going to be devastated when he hears, but he needs to get his head around it so when Emma does come around he's there to support her."

"I think that is the best thing to do" Nareesha said, tears streaming down her face. Siva pulled her into him and I heard him say; "I love you" and she looked back up to him and I saw her mouth "I love you too" with a weak smile. Kelsey just grabbed my hand and i kissed it. I pulled her into me and she whispered; "well done, that mustn't have been easy for you".
