Gon - 16

You - 15

"Can I hang out with you today?" Your younger brother asked. His friend was sick today and he didn't want to play with his younger sister (your parents had her when you were ten, she is currently 5)

"Orenji, I told you. I'm hanging out with Gon," You told him, an edge to your voice.

"And? Killua will be there and I'll just play with him," He argued.

"I already told you no," You looked over at him. He had his arms folded and a sour look on his face, as if he just drank expired milk.

"You're just a stupid teenager! You never want to do anything with anyone any more!" He yelled.

"You're a teenager too, stupid!" You yelled back.

"I'm better at being a teenager then you, dummy!"

"Oh, really?"

"You bet your sweet corn stalk I am!"

"I- What?" You looked at your brother, your eyebrow cocked and your mouth agape.

Your brother turned a bright red and looked at the ground. "F-For your birthday, I might've bought you a corn stalk..." He trailed off.

"Where did you hide it?" Was your first question.

"In my room."

"And you never gave it to me because...?" You waited for him to tell you.

"...I didn't want you to laugh at me, for getting you such a lame birthday present," He confessed.

You walked up to him and flicked his forehead, before wrapping your arms around him.

"You idiot. Of course I would've laughed at you. Not because it's a lame birthday present, which is false, but because you're the only one who would think of giving me that," You laughed.

"I guess that's true. I also wanted to get you back for gifting me the top of a pineapple for my birthday," He admitted.

You unwrapped your arms and stared at him. "You can grow pineapples now."

"I could've grown a pineapple with the whole pineapple," He said.

"I got hungry on the walk home."

"How did you cut it?"

"That's not important," You said. "Anyway, I gotta go."

Orenji sighed and started walking away, but you stopped him.

"What?" He asked you, exaspherated.

"Aren't you coming? I don't think that Killua will enjoy being a third wheel," You told him. He face brightened up and he followed after you.

When you arrived to Aunt Mitos house, you were reminded why you didn't invite your brother over.

"You totally cheated!" Orenji would yell.

"No I didn't," Killua would calmly reply.

"You short-circeted the console," Your brother would accuse.

Rinse and repeat. Over and over. It grated on your nerves and sizzled your bones. So, to keep yourself from blowing up, you invited Gon out.

It was nearing December. The cold bit at your skin, strangely comforting you. You sighed, breathing out a puff of smoke.

"Do you mind if I kiss you?" You asked, rubbing your arms for warmth.

It was minutes before Gon answered. "Go f-for it."

You turned to him, his skin fully red, and planted your own cold lips on his. His were warm and rough, thanks to being out in the cold, and molded together with yours.

You wouldn't have a problem being cold now.

Killua - 15

You - 16

December was your favorite month. Getting to stay inside and snuggle up in blankets, not to mention its the perfect excuse for being lazy, and watching the snow fall outside was great.

But you weren't doing that today.

Today, you challenged Killua to a snowball battle. Knowing your competitive boyfriend, he agreed and you took your positions. You had set up several snowmen and a small barrier, while Killua built a full wall, using snowballs to hold it up. Stocking up on snowballs, you patted the dry snow into a compact ball.

Wet. Very wet.

Water slid down your back as you felt the snow melt against your naturally hot skin.

Killua dumped snow down your back. Immediately recovering, you turned around and shot a ball at him, hitting the side of his cheek.

Looking over at you, he narrowed his eyes, matching your glare.

This wasn't a battle anymore.

It was a full-on war.

Loading both your hands with snowballs, you threw one at his knees and the other at his stomach. He jumped over both your attempts to hit him, and pulled out two snowballs from behind his back. Throwing both at you, you quickly ducked and grabbed a pile of snow. Not bothering with packing it in, you threw it at his face and grabbed a pre-made snowball. While he was wiping snow off his face, you threw one at the back of his head. It was hard to aim while in motion, but you managed. Without realizing it, the two of you migrated over to his side, right beside the wall.

He sent you a smirk and pulled out one of the bottom snowballs, causing his wall to turn into an avalanche. He ran away and watched you get buried beneath the snow. You climbed your way up and eyed your boyfriend, while he stared and memorized the image of your whole torso being stuck in the snow.

"Alright! I give, come help me out," You said, pulling an arm out and extending it.

Killua walked up to you and kneeled so he was level with your face.  Kissing your forehead, he kissed the bridge of your nose, to the tip, and finally, to your lips.

Surprisingly, his lips were soft and he kissed you gently. His hands were placed on your chin, tilting your head up. After he pulled away, he picked you up by your armpits and out of the snow. Setting you down, he dusted off his pants.

"I won," He winked and stuck out his tongue. "You have to buy lunch now."

"Yeah, yeah," You waved it off. "Although, I'm pretty sure I won this time around."

"What do you mean?" He asked, his hands in his pockets as you two started walking.

"Nothing, nothing."

Kurapika - 20

You - 20

"So, when did you get your ears pierced again?" You asked Kurapika.

"I believe it was after I passed the Hunter Exam," He said.

"Can I see something?"

"I guess," He reluctantly agreed.

Grabbing your box of forgotten earrings, you set them down infront of Kurapika.

Pulling out one that had a celery ball, you gave it to Kurapika. "Try this one," You told him.

He took out his current earring and tried the celery one.

It matched his outfit.

Pulling out a plain fake diamond earring, he put it on next.

He didn't pull this one off well.

Searching through the earrings you had collected throughout the years, you came across ones with a kiss emoji on them.

"Where'd you find these?" Kurapika asked you, picking them up and inspecting them.

"I think I bought it as a White Elephant present for my cousin, but he didn't appreciate it," You told him. "Why?"

"They just give me a great idea, that's all," The tips of his ears were red.

"And what would that idea be?"

He was hesitant to respond. "Kissing... You."

You were shocked, surprised, flabbergasted. And happy.

You leaned in and gave him a kiss. His mouth tasted like apples and were super soft.

Pulling away, you asked him, "Do you wear chapstick?"

Hisoka - 29

You - 29

This was it. Your day off. Slumping around the house in your pajamas, having cereal for every meal, messy hair-dos, and barely any moving.

That's what it normally would be like, but you were incredibly stressed for the upcoming deadline. Your shoulders were tensed and your legs were sore. You were sorting through some papers, when your boyfriend decided to make an appearence.

"My, my, you seem rather stressed dear," He commented. His elbow was on the table and he was leaning against it.

"I am stressed," You said, flipping the papers to read the next page.

"I could help you de-stress," He offered.

"I don't have time to not be stressed. This is my normal for now,"  You looked up from your papers to show how serious you were.

"Take a break then," He gave a sly smile and stretched out his hand. Sighing, you placed your hand on his. He pulled you towards him and brought your faces close together.

"What's your plan, Hisoka?" You asked, internally freaking out over the absence of distance between you two.

"Ah, Ah. A magician never reveals his secrets," He waved a finger at you.

"And what's this so-called 'secret?'"

"I suppose I could tell you," He said. Pulling you two closer together, the absence of distance became prominent. He kissed you gently at first.

Venturing further, he lightly bit your bottom lip, sucking on the bite shortly after. He roughly took your bottom lip in his mouth, his teeth just barely grazing against yours. It was an overwhelming feeling, one that you enjoyed.

It seemed forever until his disconnected you two.

Yeah, you were definitely relaxed now.

(A/N: To be clear, they ONLY kissed. Nothing happen after, so don't get any thoughts about that my dear readers)

Illumi - 17

You - 16

Trying desperately to wash the dry paint off your face, you scrubbed until your face was red and raw.

And it still wouldn't come off.

Turning off the tap, you decided that this was your life now. The person with the paint streak across their face.

What would your dad say? You know he doesn't like you coming home with painting scars.

What would your school say? You know this violates the dress code.

What would Illumi say? With this ugly orange streak across the bridge of your nose to your cheek.

How did you even gain this battle scar? No one knew.

The pit of anxiety had settled in your stomach, the familiar feeling of throwing up returning.

'Well, whatever. I'll take what I can get,'  Deciding not to get to worked up over it, the feeling did not leave you.

You entered your fathers home, a place you spent the majority of your time, and headed for the living room. After about an hour of wasting time, your dad emerged from his room. Taking one look at his face, he asked.

"What's with the orange?"

"A war scar," You told him.

He shook his head and left to the kitchen.

"I'll be leaving for my A.A meeting, then the gym after. Don't do anything stupid while I'm gone," He told you, leaving soon after.

Bored of doing nothing, you went outside for awhile. And who else would invade your personal time other then your boyfriend.

"Hey Illumi," You greeted, sitting cross-legged on the grass.

"Hello," He came and sat down next to you. "What happened to your face?" He asked, his eyebrows furrowing.

"A war scar. It was rough out there," You responded. "We lost... So many brave souls," You were to the point of crying over this metaphorical war.

Illumi didn't know what to do, so he mimicked what he would see on the streets. He kissed your forehead, thinking that might console you.

"Lower," You told him. He tilted his head and shrugged, kissing you cheek.

"Over," You pointed to your lips.

Illumi was confused. Being in a relationship was hard and he had no one to ask. Killua was definitely out of the question. Kalluto and Milluki have never been in a relationship. And he rarely saw his parents exchange affection.

"Do you want me to do it?" You asked.

"No, I can do it," Illumi cupped your cheek, sure this was the correct move. He intertwined his hands in your hair and kissed your lips. His lips were rough and cracked. You sighed into the kiss, happy that it was finally happening.

You would definitely get more battle scars after this.
