A cliff.

Gray, plain skies.

No sun.

Below the cliff was violent waters that sloshed against the cliff.

I did a full three sixty.

There was no one.

I was all alone.

"JIHOOON HYUNGGGGG!"

No one answered.

I sighed.

I walked towards the cliff.

The view from it gave off an extremely calm feel, contradicting everything in a mile radius.

Hypnotized by the view I took slow steps towards the edge.

One step.

Another step.

Another step.

Another

Step.

On the last step I felt something touch my shoe.

I looked down.

Guava?

Guava and its pineapple hairpin stabbed into the top of the stem.

I had accidentally kicked Guava and it was slowly rolling off the cliff.

I stood there blankly not realizing Guava was going to fall off the cliff.

At the last moment before Guava was going to fall, it had finally registered.

I squatted down trying to catch before Guava fell to its ultimate death.

I missed.

Guava splashed into the water and was never to be seen again.

I closed my eyes.

"GUAVVVVVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

I jolted awake realizing that it was only a dream.

I rubbed my eyes.

What am I doing with my life.

Guava is just too special to me.

I wrestled out of bed, not bothering to fix the covers.

I ran to the desk where I had left the lime green backpack with Guava in it.

I ripped the zipper of the front pocket, revealing a safe and sound Guava.

Pineapple pin and all.

I let out a big sigh of relief.

"Yah Guanlin, what are you doing?"

I hid Guava back into the backpack and turned towards Minhyun, who was at the door.

"Oh Minhyun Hyung, I got your twenty onions and bana-"

He covered my mouth and gave me a look.

"SHHHHHhhhhhh! Don't say that too loud."

"Mhmhmmmm" I agreed with his hand still over my mouth.

"The onions stay between us, okay?"

He uncovered my mouth and ran back into his room before I could acknowledge what he said.

"okay?"

How weird.
