Makayla's POV:

It's now been a week of staying with Charlie and let's just say it was eventful. I worked really hard and I've definitely seen a change within myself.

Charlie has helped me so much and I will forever be thankful to him and Ash.

"You ready Fishy"? Ash asks as we are heading to leave.

I nod slightly.

"I'm proud of you kid".

"Thanks, Charlie". I went up to him and hugged him. "Thank you for everything".

"No problem I'm glad I could help. You and Ash both have my number and know where I am so glad if you need anything".

"We will thank you, Charlie'.

We finished our goodbyes and Ash and I put our stuff in the boot then we got in the car to set off.

We arrived at the airport about half an hour later.

"You ready"? Ash said when we pulled up to the pick-up parking bay where we waited for about a minute till we saw who we were waiting for...

Ash and I got out of the car and she spotted us and headed over to us.

"Hey Mk, Hey Ash".

"Hey, Chris".

"Hi, Christen".

"So you dragged me all the way here. Can I ask why"?

"Nope". I grabbed Christen's bags then put them in the boot of the car.

Christen told me I could sit in the front while she sat in the back.

"Ash, why are you here"?

"Reasons". Ash replied making us smile.

"Also why did you make me come to Washington and not Portland"?

"Also reasons". I replied.

Ash and I high fived while Christen groaned.

"Wait how did you convince me to come here? You know Tobin and I aren't talking right"?

I nodded and ignored Christen's question. We then started listening and singing songs for the rest of the journey.

We finally arrived home. No one knows we're coming back today so I rang my Mama.

*Ring Ring*

"Mk"?

"Mama. Come outside".

"No way".

I smiled and laughed slightly before getting out of the car.

Mama rushed outside and hugged me tightly while picking me up.

"I missed you so much. I know it's only been a week".

"I missed you too Mama'.

Mama put me down while still hugging me.

"I have a present for you". Mama looked at me questionably so I nodded to Ash who was in the car still. As she had been keeping our guest in the car. So Ash let the guest come out.

"Chris"? Mama said and let go of me.

"Tobin". Christen spoke coldly.

"Christen please talk to Mama. I promise she will explain everything". I looked at Christen who looked at Mama questionably.

Mama looked at me and I nodded and smiled.

They left to go inside to talk so Ash and I brought our stuff in.

Momma Sinc walked out from the kitchen and she saw me.

"Mk"? I smiled. "Hey, Momma".

Since smiled and held her arms out for me. So I carefully ran into her arms.

"How have you been"? Momma mumbled.

"A lot better".

"Where's Tobs"?

"She saw me already. But I may have brought Christen with me so they're talking right now.

Sinc nodded then let go of me and hugged Ash.

"Thank you, Ashlyn".

"No problem Sinc".

Tobin's POV:

SHIT

WHAT DO I DO?

"Tobin".

WHAT DO I SAY?

"Tobin".

DO I TELL HER EVERYTHING"?

"TOBIN"!

I get snapped out of my pacing and my thoughts.

"What"?

"Breathe". I do what Christen says then she pats the spot next to her on my bed. I sit down next to her and take a deep breath.

"So I guess I should start with I'm really sorry Chris".

"Yep".

"Please just let me explain everything". Christen nods.

"Okay, so you remember Makayla's accident yeah"? Christen nodded. "Well, you know how she was. She didn't talk to anyone. She and Mal broke up because of that. Mk got better and learned how to use her prosthetics. Then we went home and she was in her room constantly. She started drinking a lot. Then I found her on the roof one night drunk and high". Christen looked shocked. "It continued for too long and I couldn't get through to her so I called Ash. Ash arrived but when Hailey came home from school, MK was nowhere to be seen. We went searching for her but didn't have any luck. Then I got a phone call from the police who had found her drunk and high and was abusive to the officers. She was arrested and went to court. She was fined $250 and was going to have to do community service but we told the court about Ash's plan so they agreed to let Makayla go with Ash for as long as needed. But to then go back to determine what was next for Makayla. So Mk paid the fine and left last Sunday".

"Why didn't you tell me"?

"We didn't tell anyone. The only ones who knew are in this house apart from Ash and Ali as we had to tell Ali why Ash was coming here.

"I wish you told me I could have helped".

"I don't know Chris I couldn't even help her".

"I'm not talking about MK, I'm talking about you, I could have helped you get through this".

"Thanks, Chris but I didn't want to tell anyone".

"Why not"?

"I didn't want you to see me fail as a parent".

"Oh tobs, you haven't failed". Christen held me close, and it felt so good to be in her arms again.

"Chris"?

Christen pulled away, "Yeah"?

"Can we please try again? I promise no more secrets".

"Okay but on two conditions".

"Sure anything".

"You have to be my girlfriend and we don't take it as slow as last time".

"What do you mean"?

Christen smirked "Tobin Heath you better kiss me right now".

I smiled "I can do that".

We leant in and kissed for the first time.

"YESSSSS"!

"CALLED IT"!

Christen and I pulled away and smiled before getting up and chasing after the twins.

"SHIT! HAILEY GO FASTER! RETREAT"!
