Okay so I know I said I wouldn't be posting for a while but I can't help it. I forgot how much I love writing so I started writing last night and I finished it this morning so I figured I would upload it.

Makayla's POV:

I know Charlie said that I would have to work hard but I wasn't expecting it to be this hard.

It turns out Ash told Charlie more about my youtube channel and the short films I've made. Apparently, Charlie is also good at learning other skills and hobbies quickly.

He told me that I had to make a short film in not even a day since we ended our conversations at one o clock which is when he told me about the plan. Apparently, my deadline is 9 o'clock tonight.

So I've had to quickly come up with an idea and plan everything out. I had to tell them what I needed to film with. We also found some people in town so it was harder as they weren't actually actors. It didn't help that we also had a break for dinner at around 4 so that was about an hour I couldn't film. Luckily, I finished filming at half-past seven and so far all day Charlie has constantly annoyed me.

Since I was told I wouldn't need my laptop I am currently using Charlie's which is quite old and slow. Plus it doesn't help that the wifi here is also slow so editing is going to take a lot longer than usual.

We're currently in the dining room where I'm sat editing and Charlie has continued with annoying me.

"2 Hours left Makayla". I ignore his comment as I try and finish.

About ten minutes later after him watching me quietly, he speaks again. "1 hour and 50 minutes left".

Yeah, he carried on for another 2 times both equally 10 minutes apart.

"An hour and a half left Makayla, you need to hurry up".

"Charlie can you just shut up". I sternly spoke while stopping and looking at him.

"Nope you have an hour and 29 minutes and about 29 seconds left". I clenched my jaw but continued editing.

For some reason, after another half, an hour of editing and constantly ben reminded of how long I have left I lost it and snapped.

"CHARLIE SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LET ME FINISH THIS IN PEACE"! I shouted and could feel my voice break and the tears coming to my eyes as I had been thinking of other things.

"Nope sorry Makayla now continue before you run out of time". Charlie spoke sternly and he smirked at me.

"UGHHH"! I slammed my hands on the desk.

"I CAN'T DO THIS! I'M DONE! THERE'S NO POINT"! I got up and went outside not caring about how dark it was. I slammed the door shut behind me and walked down the steps.

Not even a second later the door opened.

"So that's it, you're just going to quit"?

"THERE'S NO POINT I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING ANYMORE"!

"Okay If that's how you feel. You win. Here. I tried to help you but clearly it didn't work". Charlie placed a bottle of Vodka on the step before going back inside.

I stared at the Vodka bottle before going over to pick it up.

I sat on the step with it in my hands for what felt like a while. I thought about everything it had caused me and I could feel my anger rising.

I screamed out loud and threw the bottle. "IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT"! I heard the smash and felt slightly better.

I sat back on the step and cried.

The door opened behind me.

"Hey, Fishy". I didn't move or speak.

"Time's up. Well done. I'm proud of you".

I lifted my head up. "What"?

"It was all a test. Charlie wanted to see if you would get angry or stressed throughout the time he set you. But then he knew the time was running out and you weren't showing how annoyed you were so that's when he kept talking as he could see it annoyed you. If you would have broken at any time he would have given you the bottle to see what you would do".

"Really"? Ash nodded and pulled me in for a hug.

"Well done Fishy".

"Thank you, Sharky".

"Come on let's go back in".

We walked back in and Charlie was sat at the table with a smile on his face.

"You told her"? He looked at Ash who nodded.

"Sorry Makayla".

"It's okay Charlie I'm sorry too".

"Nah you're fine I'm used to it".

"Can I finish the short film"?

"If you want to yeah go for it. Don't worry I won't annoy you this time".

I laughed and Charlie went into the living room.

I sat there and put my head in my hands.

"What you thinking about"?

"It's all my fault".

"What is"?

"Everything".

Ash chuckled. "You need to be a bit more specific Fishy".

I smiled at Ashthen took a deep breath. "It's my fault Mal left me. I didn't tell anyone how I was feeling. I shut everyone out, which then made everything worse. I started drinking more and more. I started taking drugs. I let everything get bad. I let myself waste away. It's my fault Mama and Hiley don't have a love life anymore. I don't even have one myself". By the time I finished, I'm crying into my hands and Ash is sat next to me with her arms wrapped around me.

"Hey, it's okay Fishy".

I pulled away "No sharky it's not okay".

"Well done". I looked to see Charlie stood in front of us.

"What"?

"The first step was seeing how angry I could get you and see if you would drink. Now it's about recognising what you've done and fixing it".

"How do I do that"?

"That's for you to figure out. Finish editing if you want to then head to bed. It's been a long day". I smiled at Charlie then continued editing.

It was about half ten when I finished editing and decided to head to bed leaving it to export throughout the night.

I then headed to the bathroom and did my night routine and got changed before heading back into the room. I sat on the bed and removed my prosthetics then put them next to the bed. I then got under the covers and stared at the ceiling.

Thoughts came straight to me and I unlocked my phone and opened my contacts before pressing on a name. It opened and I hovered over the call button.

Ash walked in and smiled at me before getting her stuff and going to the bathroom. She came out not long later and got in her bed.

"You okay"?

I shrugged.

"Talk to me, What you thinking about"?

I showed her my phone and what I was looking at.

"Ahh okay. What are you thinking"? Ash smiled at me.

"I'm going to call her now".

"Go for it. But put it on speaker I want to hear this. Also scoot up".

I moved up slightly and Ash got out of her bed and laid next to me. I don't know how neither of us fell off since the beds weren't that big.

Once we were both comfy I pressed the green button and it rang.

She answered quite quickly.

"MK"?
