Tobin's POV:

Dammit, Makayla where are you?

All three of us have searched the whole house but we've had no luck with finding her. We've searched for about an hour before we searched the streets for a couple of hours but we had no luck.

*Ring Ring*

I look at my phone to see an unknown number.

"Hello"?

"Hi is this Miss Tobin Heath"? Oh no.

"Yeah, this is she".

"Good, I'm Deputy Parrish I'm sorry to say but we found your daughter walking around the streets. At first, we checked to see if she was okay as she was alone but then we saw she was high and drunk. Then when we talked to her she started mouthing off at us. We tried handcuffing her but she resisted and kept fighting us off. We eventually managed to handcuff her and put her in the car. We brought her to the station and locked her in the cell since she was still fighting us and we've given her some water. She's sobered up slightly, well enough to give us her name and yours so we could contact you".

"Thank you and I'm sorry Deputy. This has been happening for a while now and I called someone to help but when they arrived Makayla didn't come home and we've tried looking for her".

"That's okay but we need you to come to the station so we can talk better".

"Of course, I'll set off now and will be there soon".

"Thank you, Miss Heath, when you get here just tell the deputy on reception who you are and say you are looking for Deputy Parrish. They'll let me know and I'll come and get you".

"Okay Thank you".

"No worries, thank you and my apologies, Miss Heath".

I hung up the phone and texted Sinc to go back to the house and I explained what just happened.

I set off to the police station thinking about what's going to happen next. Well more like worrying about what's next for Makayla.

Time Skip: Sinc's POV:

I'm back at the house and I'm waiting for Tobs to call to let me know what's going to happen next.

Hailey and I are both laid on the sofa, she hasn't said anything at all but that's understandable so I let her choose what to watch which she picked The Meg.

"I thought you didn't like this movie"? I asked her. "Yeah but it's one of Mk's favourites and it might give her some help or something, I don't know". I just smiled and held her close to me.

The movie was about halfway through when my phone rang. I looked to see it was Tobs.

"Hey Tobs". Hailey looked at me so I put the phone on speaker.

"Hey Sinc, How are you both"?

"We're okay, you're on speaker by the way. Hailey is with me. How are you two and Makayla"?

"Okay that's fine and we're both okay, we just talked to the deputy and we haven't seen Makayla yet".

"What have they said"?

"They have said that she will go to court tomorrow to see what her punishment will be. They said she can come home with us but I told them it would be hard to keep an eye on her with how she's been so she's staying in a cell for the night".

"Okay, so what happens now"?

"Well we have to talk a little more then we'll be on the way home".

"Okay, we'll see you later then".

"Bye".

"Bye".

Hailey let out a sigh and I could see the tears run down her face. I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her into me and wiped her tears.

"Everything will be okay Hailey". She didn't say anything apart from a slight nod while she cried in my arms and then fell asleep.
