Makayla's POV:

Hailey sat at the end of the bed while I was sat at my desk next to her.

"What do you want to talk about sis"?

"I want to ask you something but I want you to hear me out first. Is that okay"? I nodded.

Hailey took a deep breath. "Would you try school for at least a week and see if you like it. You will have me with you and you know the group and you fit in well with them on Friday. Also if you join the school soccer team you know me and Dylan and we can put in a good word to Coach. Plus we need a new goalie since ours is still off with an injury. I promise nothing will happen and even if anything does happen we will all be there to help".

Hailey was sitting there with her hands clasped together as she looked at me with a pleading look.

I took a deep breath "Okay I'll try it out for a week and if by the end of the week I'm okay I'll stay".

Hailey's face turned to shock until she screamed with joy and jumped into my arms.

Mama and Momma both rushed into my room looking panicked until they saw we were alive.

"Can I ask what that horrible scream was for"? Momma asked.

"Kayl's agreed to try out school for a week". Hailey said as she jumped off me and started to celebrate dancing.

Mama looked at me surprised. "You sure you're up for that MK"?

I nodded my head "Yeah plus I'm trying for one week and if I hate it I'm going back to online school if that's okay"? I stated making sure Hailey understood my one rule about this. 

Mama nodded "Yeah that's okay. Well let's get in contact with the school and you're online school".

*Beep*Beep*Beep*Beep*

UGH.

I hit my alarm wanting to go back to sleep when my door swung open.

"KAAYYYLLLAAA"!

I buried my head under my pillow when I was suddenly jumped on by my eager twin.

"Morning Kayla". My sister was too happy in the morning.

I smirked going to change that. I took my head out from under the pillow and faced her very cheery face.

Quickly and slyly I pushed her off the bed making her fall straight onto the fall with a thud.

"Owwww". I started laughing.

"What was that for"? Hailey said while still laid on the floor.

Hailey sat up and I gave her a glare. "Do you really need to ask?

"Damn girl you got that death glare down to a T". Hailey chuckled making us both burst into laughter.

Hailey left my room to go and get ready laving me to also get ready for my first day in school.

I'm ready within 10 minutes so I head downstairs and watch some tv while I wait for Hailey.

About 15 minutes later Hailey comes down and looks at me.

"Really"? 

I look at her confused.

"Are you seriously just wearing that"?

I looked at what she was wearing compared to what I was wearing and I laughed.

"You do know it's going to be freezing today right"? Hailey starts to head to the kitchen so I follow her. "You do remember I pretty much never get cold right"?

Hailey started making her usual breakfast and I started making my usual shake.

"Yeah but I still don't understand it".

"Neither do I".

I was just finishing making my shake when Momma came in. "Morning you two".

"Morning Momma".

"Morning Sinc".

I sat at the island and Hailey joined me once she finished making her breakfast. Hailey was eating her breakfast and her coffee while I was drinking my shake. 

We were both done quite quickly so we cleaned up and got ready to leave when Mama came in.

"Morning girls".

"Morning Mama. We're about to leave". Mama nodded.

"Okay have a good day and be there for each other". We nodded and started to walk to the door.

"Bye girls". Momma said.

"Bye Momma".

"Bye Sinc".

"By you two". Mama then said as we were reaching the door.

"Bye Mama". I said back waiting for Hailey to unlock the door.

"Bye Mama". I saw Hailey freeze at what she had just said. I froze as well and I could tell Mama and Momma was shocked as well.

"Hailey". Mama didn't get the chance to say anything else as Hailey ran out the door.

Mama was going to go after her when I stopped her. "It's okay Mama I'll talk to her. We need to be heading off so I can talk to the Principal and get my schedule and locker number". Mama nodded and smiled at me then she gave me a kiss on the head before she went back into the kitchen.

I took a deep breath and grabbed my car keys and went outside and locked the door. I turned around and saw Hailey leant against the garage door.

I unlocked my car and she got straight into the passenger seat. I got in the driver's seat and put my seatbelt on and started the car. I rolled my window down then looked to my right to check she had her seatbelt on which she did so I set off.

The first couple of minutes were quiet before I had enough.

"Hails you know she doesn't hate you or anything right"? She nodded.

"I know how you're feeling I've been through this as well remember".

"Yeah I know. I mainly just scared myself since I didn't even think. It just slipped out".

I laughed. "Yeah, that happened with me too. But everything was okay as she told me she didn't care if I never called her mum or whatever. She was just happy that she had me right with her and I was safe. Trust me she feels the exact same way with you".

Hailey started crying so I pulled to a safe place at the side of the road and reached over and hugged her.

"I'm sorry for crying but I just want to hug her and apologise for running out". I pulled apart and looked at the time to see we had plenty of time tog et to school.

I looked around and quickly made a U-turn and headed back home as quickly as I could without going too much over the speed limit. Hailey looked at me questionably so I just smirked making her realise. I rang Mama to get her to wait outside. 

We arrived within roughly 4 minutes and as soon as I pulled up to the house Hailey jumped out of the car and ran and jumped into Mama's arms crying. I sat there listening to Hailey constantly apologise while Mama told her to stop and that it was okay.

Once Hailey was convinced she got back in the car and we headed to school. This time we both had our window's down and Hailey plugged her phone into the AUX and started playing her Fletcher playlist as loud as possible. We both started singing as loud as our voices let us.

We were a couple of minutes from the school and Undrunk came on so we were singing/ screaming that.

Hailey: WISH I COULD GET A LITTLE UNDRUNK SO I COULD UNCALL YOU

MK: AT 5 IN THE MORNING, I WOULD UNFUCK YOU

HAILEY: BUT SOMETHINGS YOU CAN'T UNDO

MK: I WISH I COULD UNKISS THE ROOM FULL OF STRANGERS

HAILEY: SO I COULD UNSPITE YOU, UNLOSE MY TEMPER

MK: BUT SOMETHINGS YOU CAN'T UNDO

HAILEY: AND ONE OF THEM'S YOU

We both finished the song together. 

Then we both looked up.

What we hadn't realised was that while we were singing I had parked in the school parking lot and everyone was looking at us.

We looked at each other and started laughing then we got out of the car. I locked the car then we headed to where the others were waiting for us.

Hailey and I said Hi to the group then we all headed inside to the Principals office. Hailey and I were going to go in and the others were going to wait outside so Hailey knocked on the door.

We were told to come in so Hailey went in first and I followed after her.

A youngish woman was sat at a desk.

"Ahhh Hailey how are we today"?

"I'm good thank you". Hailey responded.

"Good. Now you must be Makayla"? The woman said as she looked at me. I nodded. "Sit down both of you, you don't have to stand". Hailey and I both sat down on the chairs in front of the desk.

"Hailey's told us a lot about you".

I looked at Hailey who smiled sheepishly at me and raised her hands in surrender.

"Don't worry it was all good things". The woman chuckled with our interaction.

"Now I'm Principal Martin. You can call me either Principal Martin or Miss Martin or even Natalie if you want". I nodded. "It's nice to meet you, Miss Martin". 

"It's nice to meet you too. Looking at your past grades I'm going to assume I don't need to explain any rules to you. We have very basic rules here anyway". I nodded in understanding.

Miss Martin grabbed two pieces of paper. "This is your timetable. Once again thank you for your time the other day for talking on the phone so we could sort your timetable out beforehand. And this is your locker number and it explains how to set your new combination. If you need any help during the day ask either your sister or a teacher or me and we will be happy to help".

"Thank you, Miss Martin".

"No problem. Hailey, would you show you're sister to her locker and help her to her first class"?

"Of course I will". Hailey smiled at me so I smiled back.

"Wonderful well then I will let you get your day started. Oh before I forget Makayla, Hailey told me you play soccer". I nodded "Yeah I haven't been able to join any team yet".

"If you're interested you can join our school team. We have a well-invested team and have won plenty enough competitions to give us a couple of trophies. But I'm sure a few more wouldn't hurt. And I've been told we are down a keeper. This is if you are interested"?

"Yeah, I think I might join".

"Perfect. Hailey after school take her to Coach for a try-out".

Hailey agreed and we left the office and the others were still waiting for us.

We went to my new locker where I set my combination then I went to homeroom with the others. Then I went to my 1st lesson which happened to be photography and I was also with Dylan.

The Photography class went really well. Dylan and I got along really well and we worked well on our first project together.

We then had a quick 5-minute break where we all just met up and hung around together as we had the same class next. Which just happened to be Maths.

My weakness.

I hated it.

I never understood it.

We had to do a test for the teacher to mark so apparently he could find our strengths and weaknesses.

I'm pretty sure I got most of them wrong anyway.

As soon as we were done and handed our test in we could leave for our 20-minute break where we all decided to go outside to chill.

After the break, the day went by kind of quickly. I had science then straight after that was Geography.

Science and Geography weren't too bad either. I was sat in-between Shane and Aiden in Science. I don't think I've ever laughed as much as that before. I'm surprised we weren't split up.

In geography, I was sat next to Olivia. We talked the whole time while helping each other with the work. Olivia also introduced me to Lilly who was sat in front of us. It turns out Lilly also plays for the soccer team and she is a defender so we talked a bit trying to get to know each other.

Finally, it's lunchtime. I grabbed some food and looked around at where to sit. I saw a couple of girls and guys checking me out but I just ignored them.

"KAYLA"! I looked in the direction to see everyone sat at a table on the other side of the cafeteria. I went over and joined them and we ate our lunch.

I can't believe you three". Olivia said as we were walking outside to chill before class.

Dylan, Aiden and I burst out laughing.

"IT WAS DYLAN'S FAULT"! I exclaimed pointing at Dylan who looked at me in shock.

"MY FAULT! NO, IT WASN'T! AIDEN SUGGESTED IT"!

We made it outside. The three of us were still bickering over whose fault it had been.

"ENOUGH CHILDREN". Olivia managed to get us to stop.

"Yes, mother". I regrettably replied back making Dylan and Aiden laugh.

Olivia and Hailey whispered to each other then nodded. Shane just sat there enjoying everything happening around him.

"Right okay then if you want to be children. You're all punished then". Hailey said.

Dylan spoke next smirking. "What you going to do"?

"Aiden for the whole week I'm not coming over to yours and you can't come over to mine". Olivia spoke clearly and I watched Aiden's face turn to shock.

Dylan and I started chuckling as Aiden protested but got shut down.

"Dylan for the whole week at school you can't swear. If you do swear you have to give us $5 each for each swear word". Hailey spoke.

One again I laughed since Dylan swears a lot. Especially at school.

"Kay I wouldn't be laughing If I were you". Olivia said making me stop.

"Go on then what's my punishment"? I looked at Hailey.

"You have to let me drive your car home today then for the rest of the week you have to do my chores".

"Not my car. No way. I'll do the chores but not my car sis. You haven't even got your license yet".

"Looks like I will soon". Hailey smiled then all three of them walked away for the next class.

"Wow". Dylan said.

"We didn't even do anything that bad". Aiden said.

"I know right. All we did was have an eating race". I said.

"And then a drinking race". Dylan continued.

"And then I raced to the bathroom and Dylan tried to stop choking while Kay was on the floor laughing". Aiden finished.

"Yeah that punishment is fair. They did tell us not to". We all nodded and agreed. Then headed to our next lesson.

I had media next which was also was Dylan. Lilly was also in this class so she sat near us so we could get to know each other more. Obviously, I loved that lesson but It went too quick for my liking.

Then we had another quick 5-minute break then it was PE. Hailey and I decided to speak to Coach about my tryout and decided to do it now instead of after school.
