Makayla's POV:

"Kayla"?

"Yes, Mal"?

"I didn't think you would answer me".

"Yeah well, it seemed important, so what's up"?

"Okay, please just hear me out okay, and I want to say before I tell you this I'm sorry".

"Okay, go ahead what's wrong"?

"So you know how I got back with Dansby"?

"Yeah, I know you left me for him".

"Yeah, well, I didn't want to leave".

"What-" I tried talking only to be cut off from Mal "Please don't say anything till I say everything".

I agreed to be quiet and listen to Mal's explanation.

"Okay so I really liked you and wanted to be with you but before you were taken Dansby managed to get in contact with me, and he told me to get back with him, or he'd hurt me, but I didn't believe he could so I told him no. The next morning I go for a run, and suddenly I'm dragged into an alley, and he's in front of me. He punched me in the stomach and kicked my leg, making me fall. He then told me to get back with him, or he'd hurt all the team. I could never let him hurt anyone else, especially you. I couldn't live knowing he hurt you because I didn't do what he wanted, so I agreed to get back with him.

Then I found out you were taken and I broke and wanted to find you and tell you that I loved you and wanted to be with you. Dansby was going to Atlanta, and he made me go with him.

I've lived with him all this time, and he only hurts me if I do something he doesn't like, and he doesn't let me out of the house".

I then heard talking then it was quiet again.

"Mal, where are you"?

She took a deep breath "I'm at the hospital".

"What happened? What did he do to you"?

"He had gone to training, so I left to get coffee with some friends, and I forgot to check the time, and when I got back to the house, he was waiting for me. He punched me a couple of times, and he also shoved me into a glass table which broke under me, and he left so I called one of my friends to take me to the hospital as this time it's left me badly bruised. Don't worry though they've called the police and they're going to arrest him as I've been recording in the house and I've been taking pictures of all my injuries".

"Wow, I'm so sorry, Mal, Do you want me to come there"?

"It's not your fault you didn't know, and no you don't have to do that besides we have camp in a week anyway".

"Are you going to be okay to go to that"?

"Yes, that was the first thing I asked the doctor".

"Okay good, so I'll see you there".

"Yep".

"Yeah, well. I need to go as I have some editing to do".

"Have fun, and I've been watching your videos, and I just want to say they are really good, and you are doing an amazing job".

"Aww, thanks, Mal".

"You're welcome, but I'll go so you can edit".

"Okay bye Mal and I'll see you in a week".

"Yep, bye Kayla".

"Bye".

We hang up, and I sit there for a few seconds letting everything sink in.

"So you are talking to Mal again, huh"? I jumped and turned around to see Momma Sinc. 

"It's a long story".
