Makayla's POV:

The flight wasn't as bad as this time; I listened to music while I was holding Mama's hand. I ended up sleeping through most of the flight, so for me, it ended up feeling like we were in the air for about an hour instead of the four that we actually were.

Mike was driving us again. The last camp I talked to him quite a lot as he's kind, funny and easy to get along with.

We were all just chatting away while we were on the way to the hotel that was about half an hour away from the airport.

After talking throughout the whole of the journey, we finally arrived at the hotel. We walked to the meeting room, where everyone else was waiting.

As soon as we walked through the double doors, everyone looked in our direction. I was looking around for one person.

"Sharky"! I shouted after spotting her sat with Ali. Ash stood up, and I ran into her arms. "Hey, Fishy". I cuddled right into her. "I missed you, sharky". Ash held me tightly in her arms. "I missed you too, Fishy".

Ash took us to where she was sat, and she sat down with me in her lap.

Lauren stood at the front of the room and began talking about everything that was happening this camp as well as that we play against Canada in two days which I didn't know about. So when I heard that I looked at Mama who was next to me smirking.

"So Momma Sinc lied when she said we'd see her in a month". I whispered, which made Mama smile at me, and she nodded.

About 5 minutes later, Lauren finished up the meeting and told everyone the roommates for this camp. Luckily, Lauren said I could stay with Mama and her roommate, who happens to be Christen again.

We were told to take our stuff to our rooms then we could do whatever we wanted till team dinner at 4.

The Next Day:

We woke up pretty early today due to the team having training. I decided to bring both my cameras and take some pictures and videos for practice.

While the girls were practising, I was messing about with my cameras, and I was recording some shots of the girls shooting when Lauren came up to me, so I stopped recording.

"Hey Makayla, can I take a look at some of the stuff you've recorded today"? I nodded and pressed the gallery button on the camera and showed Lauren some of the videos I took.

"Wow, Makyla these are amazing". I shrugged my shoulders "They're not that good". Lauren stopped and stared at me in shock "Are you kidding these are awesome. Would you want to record some videos for the team's social media's since we don't have anyone currently"? I looked at Mama, who was stood with us. "Hey, it's your choice Mk, It's your life, and you do what you want to do". I agree with Lauren's idea, and she says that we can talk more about it after training.

Training finishes about 20 minutes later, and Lauren talks to me about what I will be filming, and she gives me a schedule which has what will be filmed, where it will be filmed and who is taking part in it.

The Next Day:

It's now the day of the Canada friendly, and I'm excited as it's only been a few days, but I miss Momma Sinc so much already, and I can't wait to see her today. Lauren gave me my own staff uniform to wear, as well.

The game has started, and I'm on the sidelines recording some close up shots as well as some wide shots.

USA win 2 -1 with Christen and Carli scoring for us and Momma Sinc scoring for Canada.

Mama and Momma Sinc are talking on the pitch, and I start making my way over to them after I've packed all my stuff up.

"Hey". I turn around to see Jessie Fleming right behind me. "Hi".

"Sorry to bother you but I -I um saw you on the sideline recording, and I just wanted to say Hi I guess".

I smiled at her "Well, Hi and good game, you played well".

Jessie said thank you, and we just talked a little bit more. While we were talking, someone wrapped their arms around me and kissed my forehead. I could tell it was Sinc from how she held me and kissed my forehead as well as I could smell her scent. I looked to my left to see Mama, and I looked behind me to see Momma Sinc there.

"Hey, you two, what are you talking about"? Mama questions smirking and with her eyebrow raised slightly. I was blushing for some reason, and I looked to see Jessie was also blushing.

Next minute I'm being carried away by Momma Sinc. We talked with Momma Sinc for a little bit longer until we had to go to the locker room. Abby walks up to me and kisses me on the cheek and whispers in my ear if we can talk back at the hotel. To which I agreed as I think I know what it's about.

We eventually make it to the hotel, and we head to the meeting room for the game analysis. After that is over, Abby and I head to her room since she asked Sam to go with Mal and Rose for a bit while we talked.

We were each sat on a bed facing each other.

"So do you know what I want to talk to you about"? I nodded.

So I've been talking to someone for about a week now, and it's only as friends, but I do feel something with her".

"I know, I could tell as you were acting differently recently and I understand Abby".

"Kayla, I am so sorry. I never wanted to hurt you".

"Abby, it's okay, I promise. I think I like someone else too I just don't know if anything will happen with it".

We ended up hugging, and we decided to end our relationship mutually.

"So will we ever get to meet her"? Abby nodded at my question "Yeah; I'm going to wait to see how we go, and if we do become a couple, I might bring her to a camp". After that, I went back to my room and fell asleep happy with our talk.
