Makayla's POV:

Oh my god as if Mama willingly left and told Abby and me to go on a date.

Speaking of date, Abby's now driving the rental and I'm in the passenger seat. For some unknown reason, the atmosphere is awkward and quiet.

I looked over at Abby, who took her attention off of the road and onto me and smiled. Being fed up of the awkwardness, I reach my hand out to her, and she places her hand in mine while she continues to drive.

Twenty minutes later we arrive at a parking lot, and when I look around, I see a shopping mall. Abby smiles at me. "You ready to have a fun and chill date"? I nodded at her, and we walked into the mall hand in hand.

Tobin's POV:

I'm currently in my room with the remaining three players Emily, Ash and Ali, since they're flights are also tomorrow like mine and Mk's.

We were just sat on the beds with the tv on in the background while we were doing whatever on our phones and just talking about random things.

"So Abby and Fishy, huh? Since when was that a thing"? I looked at Ash, who was looking a time with an eyebrow raised.

"Um since they first met, I guess".

Apparently, no one knew so they all were shocked. "Wait really"?

"Yeah Abby and Mal both liked Mk, and she liked them both but didn't know who she liked the most so they came up with an idea of each going on a date which didn't end up helping Mk choose. Then after the whole thing with Mal and Dansby Mk was down to one so I told them to go on an actual date before Abby leaves in a few hours".

"Wow, I can't believe how mature they've been with the whole situation".

"Jeez, Ash you feeling alright that's a big word for you. Do you even know what it means"?

"Watch it, Heath".

"Watch what? How childish you are"?

We all started laughing, then Emily decided to look to see if there were any movies on the tv that we could watch to pass the time. She came across The Greatest Showman, so we all agreed to watch it.

Let's just say the next 1hr 45 mins were filled with a lot of scream-singing and dancing and a lot of embarrassing Instagram videos.

Not long after the movie finished, Abby and Mk walked in the room carrying some bags. Mk walked over to me, and I pulled her into a hug. "Hey, you two have a good time"? She nodded in my shoulder then pulled away, smiling at me. "Not as fun as you lot though. Your Instagram stories are quite entertaining".

Everyone decided to go back to their rooms which had changed, so Ash and Ali were roommates, Abby and Emily were with Mk, and I since Abby's flight was later, and Emily can have one bed and Mk, and I can have the other.

While Abby and Emily went to grab their stuff from their old rooms and hand over their cards to Coach, we were laid on the bed and Mk was cuddled in my side. "So where did Abby take you? And what did you do"?

Mk moved slightly so she could face me "She took me to a mall where we walked in different shops buying random things. Then she took me to a build a bear workshop where she paid for me to get a bear that we've called Mabby".

Makayla handed me Mabby "Aww she's so cute. Did you both choose her clothes"? She smiled "Yeah and after that, we got some food, and we sat down to eat and just talked about random things. Then we went to this fountain where we sat on a bench, and I cuddled into her, and she wrapped her arm around me making me feel safe, and she kept telling me that she was here and everything was fine, and I was safe with her".

I pulled Mk into my arms "I'm glad she made you feel like you are safe with her and not feel bad or scared". Makayla cuddled further into me "Me too Mama because I really like her".

"I know you do Princess and it seems she really likes you too".

Makayla changed the tv and put Friends on. About 5 minutes later, Abby and Emily walked into the room with all of their luggage.

We had now swapped beds, so Emily and I were on a bed, and Abby and Makayla were cuddled on the other.

3:45 Pm At the Airport:

The worst feeling in the world is seeing your child upset, and that's what's happening right now. Makayla is currently crying in Abby's arms who is trying to be strong, but I can see it's hurting her as much as it's hurting me.

The airport announcement went off, letting us know that Abby's flight was ready for boarding.

Makayla broke down in tears even more than she already had.

Abby let go of Makayla's embrace and reached into her bag and grabbed her shirt. She then took her shirt off and put the clean one on and gave Makayla the shirt she had been wearing. Abby also grabbed a hoodie from her bag and also gave it to Makayla.

They shared another hug and a quick kiss before Abby walked away to get on her plane. Knowing Mk needed me right now as soon as Abby started walking away I went up to Makayla and held my arms out which she immediately stepped into, and she wrapped her arms around me placing her head into my chest.

I decided to carry Makayla back to the rental car while she was still crying to my chest and holding onto the clothing that Abby just gave her.

After a very heartbreaking journey, we arrived back at the hotel. Makayla had put Abby's hoodie on in the car and buried her face into Abby's shirt. She cried in it the whole journey back.

And it was breaking me seeing my daughter like this.
