Mal's POV:

Kelley had forced me to go on a walk with her so she could interrogate me some more without anyone else accidentally walking into our room and hearing, so we went to a coffee shop.

After a couple of hours in the coffee shop, we went on a walk still talking for an hour and then we decided to head back to the hotel.

When we arrived at the hotel we saw one of the team's rental cars pull up and Alex and Carli got out with some bags then Ash and Ali got out of the boot with a lot of bags, and then Christen came out with some bags. Kelley and I agreed we were going to ask if they needed help. Then the last door was opened by Christen and Tobin came out of it holding a sleeping Makayla in her arms.

Kelley saw me stop and my shocked expression and laughed at me, resulting in me punching her hard. "Ow damn Mal chill". I ignored her and got some bags that Chris told me were Tobin's and Makayla's.

Once we were in their room Kelley and I helped Christen put some of the stuff away, and we were going to put Makayla's stuff away, but christen said we should get her a suitcase for it. "Yeah sure, Pressy Mal and me here will go". She smirked at me so I knew this wasn't going to end well and I think Christen saw Kelley's smirk as in the next second Christen was coming with us.

We had spent about an hour looking and finally found a bit enough suitcase for Makayla to have all of her new stuff in.

When we arrived back at the hotel we walked into Chris, Tobin's and Makayla's room to find Tobin and Makayla asleep with Makayla on Tobin. We all got our phones out and took a picture, and Kelley posted it on the team group chat where a lot of responses were "aww" and "so cute" etc.

Yep, she's cute. I was just staring at them till Kelley knocked me snapping me out of my trance so I punched her arm and when I looked at her she just smirked and laughed. This made Christen hit her telling her to be quiet.

I hope Christen wouldn't ask what our previous actions were about and unfortunately for me. It didn't take too long to find out. "What were you laughing and abusing each other for anyway".

Kelley looked at me apologetically "you need to tell her Mal she can help you and she won't make fun of you". I nodded, knowing Kelley was right for once, so I sat on the other bed, and Christen sat next to me while Kelley stood in front of us.

"So what's up Mal"?

"Okay, so I know this is fast, but I think I'm beginning to like Makayla. When I first saw the picture of her when we were looking for her, I thought she was beautiful, and I was also anxious as I wanted to find her, so I knew she was safe. When I first saw her, I was shocked at how beautiful she was in person, and each time I see her, I think she's breathtaking and amazing".

Once I finished talking, I looked at Christen, seeing she was shocked and Kelley looked at me sadly.

"I noticed Mal looking at her when she had been found, and I could tell that she liked her so when we went back to our room I asked her and she said she did. That's why we went on a walk today we were talking about what to do". Kelley spoke to Christen, who was listening to every word.

"Wow, well I think it'd be best to keep this between us for now especially since Mal you don't even know her yet, and you haven't talked once yet and also she still needs time to get to know her Mum but give it some time and get to know her then see where it goes. Is that okay"?

I nodded, smiling at Christen for her advice that was surprisingly similar to Kelley's. I can wait for a while.
