Makayla's POV:

Waking up from the best sleep I've had in a while, I looked around the room, remembering what had happened yesterday. Looking to my left, I see Tobin and Christen in the other bed.

I check the time on the clock in the room seeing that it's 7:30 am so I decide it's probably best to get ready. Suddenly realising the fact that I'm wearing different clothes than I was yesterday.

Did Tobin undress me?

She must have.

Oh no she's seen how ugly I am.

She's not going to want to keep someone as ugly as me.

"Mk, what is it? What's wrong?"

I turn around my eyes blurry due to crying to barely see Tobin sitting up on her bed. She sees the tears in my eyes and stands up without waking Christen up and comes towards me, pulling me into her body, wrapping her arms around me in a tight hug.

"Hey, it's okay you can talk to me". She whispers after I break down in her arms.

"Do you still want me" I mumble into her chest.

She pulls back a bit and looks me in the eyes. "Of course I do, why wouldn't I?"

I look to the floor but not for long as she puts her hand under my chin, lifting my head back up to look at her. "It's just that I woke up and realised that you probably undressed me then changed me into these clothes and I thought that you'd realise how ugly I am and want to get rid of me".

She pulled me back into her again. "Mk, one you are not ugly you are beautiful and anyone who tells you otherwise is stupid and two yes I took you out of those clothes you were wearing as they didn't look comfy to sleep in so I put you in a shirt of mine as well as a pair of my shorts, but I didn't want you to be uncomfortable waking up knowing that I removed your underclothing, so I left them, so you still had your privacy".

I held onto her tighter "Thank you, Toby, I was so worried I didn't even realise I was still wearing my underclothing".

She pulled back once more and smiled at me "no problem kid why don't you go get ready then I'll go in after you". I nodded at her then went to get my clothes and my toothbrush from my bag before I went to the bathroom when she came up to me putting her hands on either side of my face pulling it towards her. She then leans in and kisses me on the forehead "I'll be out here if you need anything".  She was giving me her million-dollar smile, making me nod and smile back at her.

I make my way into the bathroom and get undressed and get in the shower using the stuff that's in there.

Once I'm finished about 15 minutes later I get out and get dressed then brush my teeth, leaving my stuff in the bathroom, so it's ready for when I next need them. I then dry and brush my hair, deciding to leave it down.

I walk out of the bathroom to see both Tobin and Christen sat on one bed talking. The curtains are now open, and the beds are made. Without thinking about it, I sit next to Tobin and lean my head on her shoulder, making her look at me.

"You okay?" I nodded, and she kissed me on the forehead again. It made me feel loved for the first time in pretty much forever. Yeah, I had Rachel, but Tobin actually adopted me and cares for me unlike most of the families who adopted me and didn't love me so this is very different to me.

A good different.

Christen's POV:

Seeing how Tobin is with Makayla makes me fall more in love with her than I thought was possible.

I love their relationship already, and I hope it doesn't take Tobin too long to tell her that  ***'* *** *** otherwise she might lose her.

Tobin turns to me "Chris, do you want to get ready first"? I figured it'd be best to get in first so they can stay like that for a bit longer.

"Yh sure thanks, Tobs". Deciding to stall for a couple of seconds, I continue to watch them knowing how strong of a relationship they have already. I decided to get up since I've waited long enough, so I get my stuff and head to get ready.

Tobin's POV:

Christen went to get ready, leaving me with Makayla who still had her head on my shoulder.

Ugh.

Dammit.

I need to tell her.

"Hey, Mk"? She removed her head from my shoulder and looked at me. 

"I need to tell you something, but I need to tell you before you meet the team. It's just I don't want you to be overwhelmed with what I say as well as meeting the team. So once I've told you if it's too much we don't have to introduce you to the team till your ready. Is that okay"?

Makayla looked to be thinking, but I don't want her to overthink it and panic herself. 

"Okay, that's fine. It's not anything bad, is it"?

I was shocked at how calm she is. "It depends on how you take it really, but to me, it's not anything bad".

She nodded her head, then Chris came out of the shower. "Hey, Tobs, you can go now".

I smiled at her, then got up. "I'll be quick then we can go and talk". Makayla went on her bed without saying anything and laid down, so I sent Chris a look basically asking her to keep an eye on her to which she nodded at me.

I was only about 10 minutes as I wanted to be back quickly to MK. Walking out of the bathroom, I was shocked at what I saw. Mk cuddled into Christen on the bed.

I put my stuff away in my bag then got on the other side of Mk and stroked her head. She immediately turned towards me, so I smiled, hoping it would calm her down. Which her smile back showed me it did.

20 minutes later:

Mk and I  are sat next to each other on a bench on the rooftop overlooking the busy streets of New York.

"Okay, so I get that it's a lot to take in and I will forever be sorry Mk, but I love you so much, and I don't want to lose you again, but if you don't want to stay with me I understand".

Makayla looked at me with tears in her eyes with no expression on her face worrying me.

"Tobin I "...
