Ishla has been your best friend for as long as you can remember. You both grew up in the same lab together. Originally the scientists put Ishla in your "room" to kill her. (You were known as a very violent test subject.) But to there surprise instead of killing you protected her. You never knew why they want Ishla dead and you didn't care. All you knew was that you wanted to protect her.
