The members get an off-day and Jay shows his house-husband card.

The members collectively woke up as the beginnings of the star's sunshine began to peek through the curtains. Jay was the first to wake and then Heeseung surprisingly. They woke in a startle, most probably because their managers weren't pestering the members to get ready. Jay yawned with heavy eyes, Heeseung following shortly after with his own. They looked at one another from their beds with raised brows.

"Don't we have a schedule today?" Jay wondered, Heeseung didn't speak for a moment though and only frowned as he reached for his phone.

"There's nothing on my calendar and nothing from our managers either in the group chat... weird."

"I wonder why... Is it a holiday or something?"

"Nah, there's nothing here that says so... I don't know what's going on or why we haven't heard anything but regardless I'm going to enjoy it." With that the eldest rolled over pulling the covers over his head. It didn't take very long until his breathing slowed and Jay knew he'd fallen back asleep.

Jaelli let out a loud yawn, as she stretched, her body moved from side to side as she tried to get comfortable again within the cover's warmth.

"Yah... stop moving so much." Came a voice hoarse with sleep.

The girl peeked over her shoulder with a sheepish smile. "Hush bum." She smiled as she felt the younger boy snuggle into her back. They lied in silence- each with closed eyes until he broke it, speaking once again.

"Wait- Something's not right." He mumbled.

"Speak up, I can't hear you..." She said, her own words falling out quite lowly as well. Jaelli could feel him shift behind her as he sat up, so she rolled over to face him.

Jungwon was looking down at her with a hooded gaze, his hair messy. As she stared at him she rubbed at her eyes tiredly.

"Cute." At his comment, her lips fell into a small pout.

"I feel like we should be up right now."

She closed her eyes again and let out a sigh. "Our managers would've woken us up, no?"

"Mm, I guess but I'm up now anyway- so we should have breakfast."

The girl peeked out of one eye, "Who's we?"

"Yah Nellie-ah get up..."

"I don't want to."

Jungwon just huffed, reaching out to pull the girl up by her shoulders.

"You're rude. This is rude- Jungwonnn let me sleep." She groaned, her eyes still shut.

"C'mon we'll bully Jay into making something."

Only upon hearing that Jay would be cooking did she finally open her eyes.

"Start with that next time." She said, and with a chuckle Jungwon rolled his eyes as him and the girl climbed out of the bed.

The duo did in fact bully Jay into making the group breakfast, with the both of them sitting on the older boy until he eventually relented.

Now the three members are in the kitchen- Jungwon and Jaelli seated at the table while Jay prepares their meal. After a while, the other members begin trickling in as they'd woken from their sleep. The first to arrive was Sunoo accompanied by Sunghoon. The tired boys amble in, hands working to fix the mess that is their hair.

"Good morning..." "Morning." The pair greet.

Sunoo walks over to Jaelli as her hands reach out to him. He takes the spot on her lap, as Sunghoon passes, he pats the girl's head, taking the seat beside them.

"When did you guys wake up?" Sunghoon questions.

"Not too long ago."

"Whatever you're cooking smells great hyung." Sunoo says, looking at Jay. The boy smiles lightly, as he is surely one for praise.

"Want some help?" Jungwon offers.

"You can set the table and Jaelli can start cutting up some fruit." He speaks, gaze never moving from the stove in front of him.

"When did I volunteer?" Jaelli asks and Sunghoon laughs at the bewildered expression on the girl's face. Jay only throws an assertive glance in the latter's direction for her to sigh and pat Sunoo's thigh gently. He stands allowing the girl to get up, taking her seat as she moves toward the fridge.

"Thank you."

"Whatever." She grumbles and when she realizes he's looking back at her she sticks her tongue out playfully.

"Seungi-ah breakfast is ready. Everyone's up now, even Niki..." Jaelli hums lowly with her head resting upon the older's stomach.

"Even Niki?" He mumbles.

"Mhm."

Heeseung lets the girl pull him out of bed and toward the kitchen to join the others. When they enter Jaelli finds her chair - opposite Jake and next to Niki while Heeseung takes the available spot beside her.

[ Seating Arrangement ]

As Jay finally finishes cooking, Jungwon helps him place everything on the table.

"Mm~ it smells really good Jay-hyung." Niki hums, eyeing the food.

"It does..." Jake agrees.

After everyone thanked Jay for the meal they dove straight in, eating to their heart's content. There were no more questions as to why they didn't have a busy schedule planned that day or why they hadn't heard from their managers. They simply enjoyed one another's company and the warranted day off.
