As I was transitioning from second to third grade it was the summer of 1998! It was Canada Day! We ended up walking all the way from our house all the way to Gemmel park to see the Canada Day festivities in the local park! It was before I was afraid of balloons and I brought a whole bunch home that day! But anyway! I ended up getting my face painted- my favourite thing as it reminds me of Halloween! And then I went to play in the part after a hotdog! It was fun! The walk home was not fun as I came and went with out socks! Dummy me! But anyway I was limping home and and nearly lost my icecream! Yeah it was that painful for me to deal with, my first blister and it was a bastard!
It felt like I cut myself with a razor blade at my Achilles tendon that being said it was not fun and it was bleeding all over the place ruined a perfectly good pair of shoes and I ended up having to wear a bandage just a small bandage on my foot And I learned the lesson of either wear sandals if you're not gonna wear socks or if you want to wear shoes wear socks and I've learned that the hard way because my friends Ana and nils who I may mention in this book, always won their sneakers without freaking socks on. I found that very aggravating and I wanted to try that, and it was more aggravating to walk from gemmel park! Please god shot me I was thing or at least spget back at Ana and nils for this damnation! But I was not going to attack my friends nor was I going tobe put out of my misery! I had to learn it the heard and painful way!
But the pain part was that I and fun at gemmel park and then after the bastard blister, I watched sailor and some show on video games.....I can not remember the name of said show except for sailor moon!
That was the first time I was introduced to anime! And cartoons as my watched live actor most of the time....good but annoying at times!
So this was a Canada day treat, I still remember the channel number for YTV. It was 25 final number 25 and I remembered it correctly because that's what my father says here the moons on channel 25 and when I saw the YTV pop up, I was going insane in a good way. The blister finally disappeared from my radar!
I remeber this summer as a good one! As my parents and I used to watch thunderstorms at the front front porch very front porch, where my father would direct the green light on the Halloween decorations, and I have grown to like thunderstorms to the point where I fall asleep to them whenever they happen but for the past five years, I haven't heard one since the past few days that being said, that must've been a whopper of one to be honest with you I remember hearing the thunder and seeing the lightning! My childhood back to this July 1, 1998! that being said, I was very interested in whether as well as astronomy and stuff that being said I didn't have very many interest as a kid was either astronomy or something to that effect or creative. I was always interested in painting at the time I had to go to a library club for kids to go to socialize. That was not the fun part of summer but the fun part of summer at the time was going swimming and watching sailor Moon!
