Chapter sixteen- still trapped in the maze

Clio's POV

I cried myself to sleep and it got even worse, I dreamed about Anna still alive.

"Clio save yourselves, I warn you don't fall on the…….." Anna said but she didn't continue; she started walking away.

"Anna wait! Fall in what?" I asked trying to catch her hand.

"Good luck Clio. " She said and the scene shifted.

I was in a huge castle. I walked inside a room and saw two people; a girl and a boy. When I got closer I realized that the girl was Anna. I was so happy to see her; I wanted to run to her and hug her but I can't feel my legs. I tried to call her but my voice won't work too.

"Who are you?" she asked the guy.

"I'm Leo." The guy answered. He had blonde hair and blue eyes; he reminded me of Theseus. I felt empty, sad and lonely. I felt alone. He was fit and tall maybe a few inches taller than me.

"Where am I?" Anna asked while sitting down on the bed.

"You’re in my house; you need to rest." He said putting a blanket over her.

"How did I get here?" She asked again.

"I rescued you." He said. Then the scene shifted again. I was in the meadow now. Anna and Leo were fighting a huge monster.

"You need to find your friends and warn them." Leo said slashing at the monster.

When the monster turned my way; I saw that it was the huge serpent; I wanted to get my sword and kill it but I just can't. Then the monster breathed fire straight at Leo.

"Nooooo!" Anna screamed. Anna's eyes turned Lightning blue with scary looking lightning in them.

"You killed my best friend and now you kill my saviour!" she exclaimed in rage. I was so confused. Her best friend but I'm not dead then I remembered that Theseus was her first best friend. How did she know? 

I fell on my knees.

Anna had lightning going out of her hands; the lightning whip but I know Aly is the only one who can do that. She charged at the monster and hit it. The monster disintegrated into yellow dust. Anna ran towards Leo and knelt beside him.

"Warn your friends and be safe." He whispered while holding Anna's face.

"I will." She said choking back her tears.

I woke up with a jolt.

"Are you okay?" Aly asked.

"Yeah I'm fine." I said.

"We better get going." Percy said

"I wonder what had happened to the others?" Annabeth asked.

Then and there a voice spoke in my head "Go to the river of darkness and cross the red bridge"

Then it faded.

"Guys I have a feeling this will be a long day." I said.

Nico's POV

So yeah we are in the land of forbidden fruits. We explored the place and we saw nothing but fruits. Suddenly I caught something on the corner of my eye.

"Hey guys look at that strange plant." I said walking towards it.

"D---D---Don't touch it." Grover said with a stutter.

"What could this little plant do?" Melody asked

"I don't know?" Grover answered slowly backing away. I felt my legs being pulled. I looked at my feet and saw two vines tugging at me.

"Get of me!" Melody shouted while getting her sword.

We tried cutting the vines but it was no use. The plant grew into a big plant. We were getting close to its mouth. We were inside of it.

"How are we going to get out now?" Thalia asked struggling.

"Don't struggle it will close in faster." Melody said. I had a feeling in my gut that I had to hut something; then I saw it, the blue hook. I got my sword and cut it. Then we were blown out of it.

"Eew!" Grover said while removing the slime.

Aly's POV 

We searched for the river of darkness, and finally found it.

"This looks wicked cool!" Max said.

"But scary." Annabeth said

"Guys we need to cross that bridge." Clio said.

"What! But it's to thin." I said "And one more thing no one should fall.

" Percy warned. He dropped a small paper in the dark water and the water disintegrated. "But that's just chocolate." Max said.

"It's deadly, don't dare touch it." Clio warned. We arrived at the start of the bridge.

"Well here goes nothing." Percy said "Be careful seaweed brain." Annabeth said giving him a kiss on the cheek. Percy went first and made it across.

"It’s safe, just don't look down." Percy yelled. Annabeth, Max and I went across and made it.

"Be careful Clio." Max said. She went across up to the middle and nearly fell off.

"Whoa." She said. She finally got to the end.

"Good work." I said. With that we went on are journey.
