Chapter 2: The Rivalry Tension

"Skye!" growled Everest in the meanest way she could muster. Of course, she was still angry from Skye's encounter. "YOU STUPID COCKERPOO LET DETAILS OUT!" She smacked her tail and Skye was thrown out of the room. Then she slammed-locked the door.

"Everest is right," Rubble mumbled quietly, "Skye did let details slipped."

"Thanks god she didn't scream of Zuma," added Marshall.

Chase growled and Ryder frowned. He didn't like the way they interact. Although they were right, it was clearly an accident and they couldn't blame Skye for something she couldn't control.

He scolded them, Chase barking in support. However, Rubble pointed out that an out-of-control Skye would also make things worse.

"I don't think it was right of Everest to smack her like that," he concluded. Everest barked angrily, but Rubble wasn't finish, "But her intentions were right. Skye did make a mistake." Everest calmed down a little.

"I learnt that from the bird-brain you know," she hissed, "She smacked me because I didn't believe in Coral, and now I smacked her for believing in herself when she is a fool."

Marshall nodded, "Everest had a point there."

Ryder sighed, "We have no time for that. PAW Patrol, to the Castle HQ!"

Chase growled at the fact that Ryder did not stand up for Skye probably, but followed from his loyalty.

Everest smiled. Her rivalry with the cockerpoo was clearly growing ...
