Jennie's POV

I woke up by the annoying sound of my alarm and I just rolled over for a moment In frustration. I slammed my hand down on it to turn it off and heard a small cute groan. I almost turned around when I felt a small pair of arms wrap around my stomach and a body pulled close to me.

I felt Lisa's body heat behind me, yet intensified due to her high fever. I slowly turned over to face her and stroked the hair out of her pale face. Her fever was down a little more and I smiled at the thought. My baby was getting better slowly. I placed a gentle kiss on her forehead and brushed my hand over her cheek.

Her eyes fluttered open slowly only to moan in pain from the sunlight in her face. I panicked and moved my body to shield her eyes a little and pulled the blanket up a little more over her body.

She clung her arms around me and I decided to pick her up. I held her up in my arms and carried her to the bathroom while she hid her face in my neck. I placed her on the sink and ran her brush through her tussled hair gently. Then helped her brush her teeth and change into a clean shirt and shorts. Unfortunately, she decided to steal my favorite shirt but the fact that made it up because she looked so cute and small in it. It reached down a few inches above her knees but I was only glad that she was comfy.

I asked her if she wanted to walk herself out to the kitchen to eat but she didn't say anything and just made grabby hands at me. *chuckle* she's too cute even tho she's sick. I wish she wouldn't work herself in the company so much but she won't listen when we tell her to slow down. *sigh*

I picked her up and started to walk to the stairs when she started to whine. She's such a big baby *giggled* I started to gently bounce her in my arms and she put her face in my shoulder and stopped whining. What can I say, I know this big baby well. I walked slowly down the stairs still bouncing Lisa gently until I got to the kitchen.

"Hey Jisoo unnie" Jisoo unnie looked over at me and smiled brightly. "Hey Jendeuk. She feeling better?" I nodded lightly and put Lisa down on a chair. Which she immediately started to whine because of. I shook my head at her and she was quiet again. I rubbed her cheek and went to help Jisoo unnie cook breakfast. She cooked some eggs and I fried the bacon.

Fast Forward. When food is done

"I SMELL FOOOOOODDDDDD!!!!!!" That's all we heard right now aside from Lisa starting to cry. I bolted to the table where Chaeyoung was running in and Lisa was covering her ears. I smacked Chae across the head and Jisoo scolded her while I went and hugged Lisa. I kissed her head and rubbed her back gently whispering into her ears that it's ok.

"N-nini~*sniff* my h-head h-h-hurts" I sighed because I knew it was Chaeyoung shouting that made her head hurt. I just wrapped her arms around my neck and her legs automatically cling around my waist for me to pick her up. I gently bounced her in my arms to comfort her and brought her into the kitchen setting her on the counter.

I put a little bacon and scrambled eggs on a small plate and fed it to her. After she finished that I fed her a little bit of soup that I made her a little bit before I started helping Jisoo unnie. Once I made sure she finished all her food I gave her some medicine and carried her over out to the couch to relax. Jisoo and Chae came out and sat next to us a little later and told Lisa to pick the movie we watched. I guessed it before she said it and she picked Zootopia.

About halfway into the movie, there was a pounding on our door that caused all of us to flinch a little except Jisoo unnie obviously. Lisa jumped into my lap and I carried her going to answer the door. I opened to door with one hand. The other under Lisa's thighs to hold her up.

I don't know who I expected at the door but it definitely wasn't 3 very angry managers... "why aren't you 4 at the company working right now!" Manager oppa practically yelled in my face. I felt Lisa jump and hide on my chest. I really didn't feel like dealing with them right now but they didn't give me a chance to speak.

They pushed me out of the way, causing me to almost drop Lisa. They pushed inside the house yelling at Jisoo unnie and Rosie asking why we weren't recording and why they were informed the girls were taking a break. Chae tried to calm Oppa but he pushed her by accident instead. I could tell by now Unnie was fuming and she just went off...

"OK, FIRST OF ALL 'OPPAS' WE TOOK LEAVE OFF TO TAKE CARE OF LISA BECAUSE GUESS WHAT?? BECAUSE OF THE HECTIC SCHEDULE YOU MANAGERS SET UP FOR US SHE OVERWORKED AND ENDED UP SICK. SHE'S BEEN SICK THE PAST FREAKING WEEK TOO!!! AND NO ONE OF YOU NOTICED. ALL OF US HAVE BEEN TELLING HER TO SLOW DOWN BUT SHE CANT!!!"

Jisoo continued to scream in rapid-paced Korean at the managers. She almost sounded like me doing my rap in Du-Ddu-Du-Ddu. Although I didn't hear the rest of it I could tell the managers were stunned. But I had to run Lisa upstairs before she freaked out anymore. She was visibly in pain probably getting a massive headache from all the yelling.

My poor Lili... I kissed her head and walked into my room laying down gently lowering her on my top. She laid her head on my chest and continued to sob quietly continuously telling me her head hurts. I couldn't do anything about it because she refused to take hard pills. So I couldn't give her any of the pain meds I had in my room.......

About an hour and a half later

The yellings died down by now and I heard the doors slam. Lisa fell asleep about 10 minutes ago from crying. I need to go check up on the girls so I lift Lisa careful not to wake her up and lay her down in the middle of my bed. I tuck her in comfortably and place pillows around her to keep her in one spot and to make her feel safe.

I quietly left my room closing the door behind me and made my way downstairs. When I walked into the kitchen though I was sadly welcomed by a sobbing Chipmunk and Jisoo unnie trying to comfort her. "What the hell happened Jis??" I was honestly confused. What happened when I left???

"It's nothing Jenduek she's just upset from the managers screaming. You know how sensitive these maknaes can be" she was softly rubbing Chae's back as she spoke in a gentle tone. I simply nodded and made sure there was no mess. I walked Jisoo and Rosie over to the couch so Jisoo could cuddle her back to calmness. I've grown to understand that the Maknaes respond best when they're being cuddled.

It sounds odd but it works well. We can usually get a lot out of them while they're being cuddled and it works well. I started to clean up the kitchen. I'm guessing Jisoo unnie calmed down the managers with more food cause the place is a damn mess!

I think I was about halfway into the cleaning when I heard scream crying, then running footsteps. Then...tumbling?

Wait a minute? Why in the hell would there be-

LISA!!!!

I bolted from the kitchen to the stairs only to see Lisa curled in a tiny ball holding her left knee and scream crying louder than a minute ago.

I rushed to her faster than freaking sonic I'm pretty sure. But I don't care right now all I can do is hug Lisa and wait till she tells me what happened. She started to breathe heavily and wheeze still crying loudly.

I panicked when I heard her whining out for her favorite stuffed cat and yellow blankie. I immediately screamed. "JISOO ROSIE GET LISAS INHALER AND HER STUFF NOW!!" (Yes Lisa has an inhaler in this one-shot don't kill me just calm urself please lol)

I heard them start running around the house looking for the stuff and Chae came back first with Lisa's inhaler. Which I immediately put near her mouth. She opened and I pumped it so she could breathe. She started to breathe a little better but I could tell she was still in a heck of a lot of pain.

Unnie came next practically thrusting the blanket and cat into my hands. I gently tucked the stuffed cat -which she had named Lili- into her arms and pulled the blanket around her shoulders. She visibly calmed down but she was still whimpering and wincing in pain.

I gently moved her hands from her knee and checked over it. The second her hands were down though I looked at her knee in horror. It was burned up and bloody.it looked bruised and almost as if it was dislocated.

I told Jisoo unnie to call an ambulance and she pulled her phone out immediately. I sat there trying to figure where it was bleeding from. eventually, I came to my senses and ran to the kitchen to grab a washcloth. I soaked the washcloth in warm water and brought it back to Lisa. she looked at me in horror and I just nodded my head at her.

"It's okay Lili. I just need to clean the wound so I can know where it's bleeding from, Ok?" she nodded slowly and I patted her hair gently. I started to rub away the blood, occasionally stopping to look up and make sure she was okay. Once all the blood was cleaned up I could finally see the gash along her knee. it didn't look that bad but I was still worried because it was an open wound, and she'd hurt her knee more than just that gash from falling down the stairs.

I hear the sirens of the ambulance while I'm wrapping Lisa's knee and the paramedics come in and take her. I basically forced them to let me come so I could help Lisa. they let me in and I sat next to Lisa making sure her blanket and cat were out of the way but still in her arms. she eventually fell asleep from all the crying and that let the paramedics do their job a little easier.

they started doing X-rays and cleaning taking off the bandages to clean up the gash and keep the bruising down. honestly, it might seem like a bit much to be in an ambulance for something like this but to be fair Lisa had lost a lot of blood from the gash and she said her knee didn't feel right.

I guess this whole situation was sort of ok... at least they are calm and not overreacting to the situation haha. We eventually made it to the hospital and they brought Lisa into a room to get a better more clear X-ray. I waited in the waiting room for the girls and when they got here the doctor was also on his way out.

I got up and practically sprinted to her. "She's fine, right? what happened to her knee???" She just smiled at me. "Your friend is fine Ms. her knee is only sprained there's nothing too bad but may I know what exactly happened? she has a raging fever and she won't tell us anything?" I sighed in relief then quickly explained what I knew. "All I know is she's actually been sick for the past few days, she's been overworking herself at the company quite a lot but she should be fine soon I guessed. I put her down for a nap because she fell asleep on me and I left the room for a while to clean up. I suddenly heard her start to scream cry and I started to finish what I was doing thinking she was only crying. Right, when I ran out of the kitchen I heard a bunch of thumping. then more crying and I ran to the stairs. I saw her on the floor and tended to her then all this."

The doctor didn't seem fazed at all and just wrote some things down. she told me Lisa would have to stay at the hospital for a while and all I could do was nod. she told us we could see her now and her room number. we all ran to her room but the second we got to the door I stopped them and slowly opened it.

I poked my head in slightly and saw Lisa sitting in the bed. She looked over and her eyes immediately lit up. I walked up to her and sat on the bed. She immediately latched onto me and buried her head in my neck. I rubbed her back and told her what the doctor had said to me about her having to stay. She threw a bit of a fit but calmed down a bit after and put her head on my chest. "You tired baby?" she nodded and let out a cute yawn. I nodded and told her to sleep for a bit. I knew she'd say yes because she woke up in the middle of her nap before she fell on the stairs. speaking of that, when she wakes up I need to ask her what really happened fully.

Sorry I took so long to update, I wrote this one on my computer. Hope this cheers you up btw @Miljx_jxnnie  :) sorry we haven't been able to talk long hope we can again :) Miss you girllll
