Angsty activity and A Jetpack

Uzi has not had the best time. She feels guilty for pushing away N and Gordon and has been having a terrible time at school. It also didn't help that prom was right around the corner and her classmates just couldn't help gloating about the fact they have a date. Uzi however has found a new hobby to cope with this. A Conspiracy Board above her ceiling attempting to uncover the secrets of the Solver, Copper 9, Gordon, anything really. Thankfully the recent disappearances of classmates has given her new material for her Conspiracy Ceiling. When she gets home ready to add the missing posters to her ceiling she realizes they're all gone. Taken down by Khan. He flips through the drawings. He was mostly fearful of the drawing of a man in a suit. He takes the drawings, putting them in a closet labeled Noris kooky insane stuff. He turns around to see Uzi angry at her violation of privacy. "My Crazed Ramblings!" Uzi shouts angrily. "Stay out of my frickin room!" Khan quickly consults a manual. "Personal Space for a very alarming coping mechanism isn't covered under a...non-optional family support structure." Uzi angrily slaps the manual out of his hands. "I'm sorry for being vulnerable for FIVE seconds, ok? You were never there for me, if you wanna help now stay distant." Khan doesn't respond once again, lost for words. Uzi sighs, turning around "I'm gonna go talk to N and Gordon." She stops in her tracks seeing a small skeleton wearing a black dress. "What's that?" Khan finally speaks up. "Prom Dress! Child small. You're banned from seeing those bad influencing Murder Drones. Uzi's jaw drops "What about Gordon?" "Khan raised an eyebrow. Uzi rolled her eyes. "The HUMAN?" "Oh yeah, ESPECIALLY HIM. Thankfully I talked to your teacher to find you classmates to go with tonight!" Their door opens revealing Lizzy and Doll. "Sup freak, prepare to be popular." "I'm chaperoning!" Uzi falls to her knees screaming for the gods.

Back at the pod Gordon has finally snapped out of the funk he was in when he found something in the pod. He found blueprints for an upgraded version of the Long Jump Module he used back in Black Mesa. This one not only was able to fling the user across large distances but it could also be used as a small jetpack. Gordon knew this could help him greatly and immediately got to work outside, Using tools inside the pod to begin constructing the Long Jump Module. The loud sound of welding, hammering and sawing could be heard from inside the pod. Much to the annoyance of V. Gordons loud noise making was slowly chipping away at V's already diminished sanity. She just sat there rubbing her forehead, waiting for N to arrive with the stuff she asked for. When N finally arrives carrying two skeletons he notices Gordon working on the Long Jump Module. "Glad to see you're doing better, Mr. Freeman" He replies. Gordon, although not turning away from his work, did give N a small thumbs up. When N went into the pod V sighed. "Finally! What took you so long? I've been here listening to the giant carrot make noises for the last 45 minutes!" N set down the two skeletons one wearing a red dress while the other wears a black tuxedo. "At least he isn't depressed anymore." V rolled her eyes. "He didn't make a lot of noise when he was." N sighed "What did you need these for anyway?" A sadistic grin grew on V's face. "Oh you'll see...Hey N, isn't there some sort of party or something going on over there?" "The prom?" N realized "Oh biscuits I forgot about that." "Wouldn't it be great if...y'know we crashed the party and...caused some chaos." N realized what she was trying to do and turned his back on her. V frowned. "Oh come on! Look at that suit...I know you've always wanted to look...dapper" N's face softened looking towards the suit. "I do want to be dapper" N reaches a hand towards the suit but stops himself. "But no! That's why you made me find these? We can't interact with the Worker Drones..." N sat down on a chair. "We're too dangerous." V was not impressed. "Uh, exactly. We show up fabulous, the sad purple one lets us in, cause she has no friends, we kill everyone and pop her head off!" When she finishes a loud banging noise comes out from outside making V scowl. "And THEN we'll come back here and turn the flesh boy inside out!" N crosses his arms. "I'm not bringing you for prom murder, V. J went holo-spooky-snake-crab thing, we might've grown up in a haunted mansion, AND a creepy old guy is watching me in my dreams! Aren't you worried we have no idea who we are?" V turns away from N a sad expression on her face, she sighs and turns back to N. "Promise me you and that orange and purple things will stop prying into that stuff. I promise we'll only kill what we need to survive. Just you and me N." N looks towards a key before shaking his head and leaving the pod. Gordon was still working on the Long Jump Module as he sees N walking out and sits down on a rock. Gordon stops and goes to sit next to N. "Hey Mr. Freeman" Gordon waves his hand. "I'm just...stuck, I don't really know what to do. I only have small fragments of my past and I'm pretty sure V is hiding stuff from me." Gordons brow furrowed at the mention of V, his hatred of her glows deep. "And the fact we've both seen the same Man makes me even more confused. I've never heard of any Black Mesa or Xen, yet how are they connected with me?...This doesn't make any sense." Gordon just scratched his head thinking what to do. He gives N a little pat on the back. N turns smiling. "Thanks but I don't think a pat on the back is gonna fix all my problems. I appreciate the thought though." Gordon smiled and got up. N gets up as well and taps Gordon on the shoulder, he turns around to see N holding up a familiar tie. "I don't think you're planning on taking off that suit so this was the best I could do, here" N gives Gordon the tie and walks back into the Pod. Gordon looks at the ridiculous tie and ties it around his neck. Then he turns back to continue working on the Long Jump Module.
