One year later...

Lance knocked on the hollow metal door, his excitment bubbling inside of him.

He perked up at the sound of foot steps, quickly straightened his hair.

When the door parted open, Allura looked at Lance startled, but with a smile.

"Lance?" She asked.

He gave a playful bow, before returning to his normal position.

"Princess, Is it alright if I take you out?" Lance asked.

Allura laughed before giving a curtsy, "Yes you shall, my good sir."

She walked back into her room, the doors closing behind her.

Lance's face spread into a wide smile, and he began to lean against the wall.

After about five minutes, the doors parted, and Allura stepped out in a more casual outfit.

"Shall we?" Lance asked, sticking out his elbow.

Allura nodded and smiled. "We shall."

They walked out of the castle of lions, and began a trek through a close by forest.

"Lance? Where are we going?" Allura asked.

Lance laughed, "You'll see."

Once the trees parted, they were met by an opened field covered in Altean Juniberry flowers.

Allura let out a delighted gasp before running out into the field and plucking a few flowers, lifting them to her nose, and inhaling the aroma.

"I hadn't been able to see them since... I came out of the portal..."

Lance's smile faded, but instead turned into a soft look of comfort.

"Your alive. That's what matters."

Allura's gaze softend, and began studying the flower, "I don't know why I left that realm. Maybe it was the fact I left behind something I loved dearly. Or... someone."

Lance carefully crept closer and wrapped his arms around her in a hug, resting his chin on her head.

"I will always love you Allura..."

Allura looked up at him and smiled, turning and kissing him on the cheek.

Lance looked startled, before his gaze turned playful, and began chasing her around, until he finally caught her.

He held her wrist, and pulled her closer, softly kissing her forehead.

"The surprise is this way." He said, motioning ahead, still holding her wrist.

Once guideing her through the continuing forest, they stopped at a clearing, where it appeared to look like a garden, it was lush, green and beautiful, with a large tree in the center.

"Lance... it's beautiful."

Lance continued looking around at the scenery, before his gaze quickly focused on Allura.

"Yea. It is."

Allura looked back at him, before running ahead to the base of the tree.

Their they sat down, and admired the view, taking in it's breathtaking beauty.

Allura looked over, seeing Lance squirm every few seconds, before returning at gazeing.

After a moment or so of silence, Lance spoke.

"A-Allura... I have a question..."

He pulled out a blue box, small and simple, then turned and opened it.

"Allura, will you Marry me?"

Before Allura could say anything, Lance quickly spoke again.

"I love you. I do with all my heart. And I don't want anything to horrible happen, without knowing your my wife."

Allura let out a small gasp, and after a moment or so of silence, Lance looked uncomfortable and nervous.

Allura quickly threw her arms around his neck, shouting, "Yes! I will! Yes!"

Lance let out a sigh of relief before hugging her back, then slipping the blue and white jeweled ring on her finger, and kissing her gently.

Once breaking away, a smile plastered Lance's face.

"I hoped one day I would find my Mrs. Blue lion."

Allura let out a laugh before kissing him again.
