Cat was invited to the drive-in by both her Cobra Kai and the Miyagi-Fang friends. She had to work, so she couldn't go. She just hoped they didn't get into any trouble because trouble seems to follow anytime the dojos are in the same place.

—--

"Really?" Cat asked, rolling her eyes. She had just been told about what happened at the drive-in.

"What? It's not like we actually started a fight," Hawk said.

"You guys are just poking the bear." Cat rolled her eyes. "Whatever. At least there wasn't a big fight."

"Henceforth, Miguel Diaz will be known as the Rainmaker," Demetri said.

"El Diablo de la Lluvia," Hawk said.

"If they hadn't fallen for it we would've beaten them," Sam said.

"Maybe, but there are still so many ways it could've gone bad," Miguel said.

"What could've gone bad?" Johnny asked as he walked over.

"We were about to get into a gnarly fight at the drive-in, sensei," Hawk said. "But Miguel saved the day."

"Oh yeah, how'd you do that?"

"Told the Cobra Kais to come to the baseball diamond," Miguel said. "Just in time for the grass to get watered."

"So you picked a fight, you didn't show up, and then you doused them with a hose?" Johnny asked.

"Oh, it was sprinklers," Demetri said. "I'll go back to saying nothing."

"You just poked the bear. What do you think is going to happen? They're just going to leave well enough alone?"

"From everything I've heard about last night, it sounds like Miguel practiced restraint," Daniel said. "Found a way to get out of a bad situation without anyone getting hurt. What did you want them to do, get in a drive-in switchblade fight? I'm proud of you. You've taken Miyagi-do techniques to heart." Daniel patted Miguel's shoulder.

"Okay, Larusso, we need to talk," Johnny said.

"What the..." Daniel muttered as someone walked into the yard. It was John Kresse and Terry Silver.

"Gentlemen," Silver said. "It seems we have a few things to discuss."

The senseis sent the students into the building. Cat was standing on the porch next to the door. She didn't want to interact with either Kreese or Silver.

"Daniel Larusso," Silver said. "It's nice to see you again."

"Yeah right," Daniel said. "Bullshit."

"Fair enough. I'd probably react the same way if I were you. My past behavior was... inexcusable. If I could go back and undo it all, I would. All I can say now is I'm truly sorry. And I assure you, I'm not that man anymore."

"I don't know what padded room you crawled out of Silver or what twisted game you two are playing, but if you don't get off my property right now, I swear to god-"

"Your dad is pissed," Miguel said. He and the other students were listening and watching from the inside of the dojo. "Who is that guy?"

"I have no idea," Sam said.

"He looks like a Highlander," one kid said (I forgot his name).

"The Highlander. There can only be one," another said (also forgot his name).

"That literally has nothing to do with anything," Cat said. She walked off the little porch and over to the side away from everyone where her bag was.

"Okay," Silver said. "Okay, I tried. We'll still hold our students to a moratorium on fighting before the tournament, for what it's worth. Provided of course you do the same."

"Just remember our deal," Kreese said. "If Cobra Kai wins the All Valley, you two are done teaching. For good."

"That's not going to happen, 'cause you're not going to win," Daniel said. "Now get the hell out of here."

"Has it really come down to this?" Kresse asked Johnny after Daniel and Silver started walking away. "Johnny Lawrance playing second fiddle to little Danny Larusso?"

"No one's second fiddle," Johnny said. "This is my dojo as much as it is his."

"Really? The sign out front says Miyagi-do."

"Unless you want it crammed up your ass sideways, you'd better take off after your bridge partner."

Kreese chuckled as he walked away.

Johnny walked over to Daniel. "Alright, who the hell was that?" he asked.

"Terry Silver," Cat said, just loud enough to be heard, appearing behind the two men, holding her water bottle. The two men jumped a little as they turned to look at her.

"You know Silver?" Daniel asked.

"He knew my dad," Cat said. "Their friendship didn't end well. I was hoping never to see him again, but life is a bitch sometimes." She drank from her water as she walked away from the two men.
