After a long night of scrolling through my social media with Allina and Andrea we went to sleep.

We woke up to sun beaming through my curtains.

KNOCK* KNOCK*

"Who is it?" I asked.

"It's Daniel."

"Oh hey dad."

He blushed slightly.

"Your friends parents are here. Get them up and packed." He says.

"Ok will do dad!" I said.

Allina and Andrea packed and hugged good bye.

"Bye! See you tomorrow. Text me!" I shouted out my window.

As I walked downstairs my butler approached me. He motioned towards a room. A closet.

"Yes?" I questioned.
" last night. I was polishing a ravishing statue when I heard speaking. From Daniel's room. "

BUTLERS P.O.V

I hummed to my favourite classical tune at the moment. I hadn't really got into the pop music. Whilst polishing my favourite statue in the mansion I heard talking. I stepped cautiously towards my bosses room and well... eavesdropped.

"Taylor. I have priorities. Jess. She is my priority. She clearly pointed out I am not spending time with her or setting a good dad example. I am certain we should mute our relationship until Jess and my relationship is settled. I hope you understand." Daniels says.

"Are you kidding me?! Your ending us for a dumb adopted teen? I don't get you? You get something but then you throw it away! No we should not 'mute' this 'relationship' we should end it!" A voice shouts over the phone.

My mouth drops open due to the strong words used against Daniel and Jess. What a horrendous woman!

"We will end it then. Don't bother calling. You spoke bad about my daughter! You will regret it! How dare you! Stay out of me and my daughters life!"

I hear a sigh and back away from the door continuing to polish the statue.

JESS'S P.O.V

"What?!" I shout.

I quickly shut my mouth.

"JESS! Breakfast!" Daniel shouts.

I give my butler a worried look and walk out of the closet.
