Third person POV

The crash scene looked like something out of a movie the car was smashed the light post was hit by the truck and the secondary 18-wheeler was near the car. It took emergencies 5 minutes to get Felicity out of that car. They put a neck collar on her strapped her to a back board and put her on a stretcher. They found a ring in her hand and they took it out so that it would not intervene in anyway. She was floating in and out of consciousness. She had lots of scratches on her face and neck and there was a large puncture on her left side where the truck hit. She was on her way to the emergency unit to be taken care of by professionals and nurses. They had to contact someone and they contacted her fiancée her emergency contact number 1. O ce in ER the paramedics gave the ring to one of the doctors.
Oliver’s POV

I was at the office when I noticed my phone started buzzing and Felicity’s face flashed on the phone. I grab it and press accept.

“Hey!” I say with a smile but it faded as soon as I hear a male’s voice.

“Mr. Queen I’m afraid your fiancée has been involved in a three vehicle collision. The car was destroyed. Your fiancée was very lucky to still be alive. I assure you we are…” I stopped listening as my hand fell with infinite slowness and an unbearable guilt took over. I hit end call and I bolt through the building and busy streets to the hospital. I had to be with her. Was she okay I didn’t listen to the whole call but I knew the rest. I kept running I didn’t stop my lungs burned my heart ached but I ran forward until I reached the hospital and the doctor met me at the entrance.

“How is she?” I asked out of breath

“She’s pretty beat up. We need to give her space she suffered head trauma and hopefully there will not be complications. Mr. Queen with a collision like that she’s lucky to be alive.” He says as he walks away.

“Doctor! Can I see her?” I ask as despair took over my beat up body. He nods and leads me to a room with the still body of my love.

“They found this in her hand we should give it to the owner.” He said as he walked away.

I looked at her body and then walked in slowly. I walked to her bed and grabbed her hand and was just overwhelmed by the silence. There were a million things running through my mind and the most devastating was that I didn’t know if I was going to hear her voice again. If I wouldn’t have worked late today than she wouldn’t be here. I look at the ring and place it back on her hand and I grasped her hand again and kissed it slowly. I got up and kissed her forehead.

“Please be okay Felicity! I can’t lose you. I love you too much. Please find your way back to me.”
