After Naofumi departed from Erhard's shop, he got to a field with only LVL 1 monsters. In front of him were what looked like balloons except they had creepy looking faces and sharp teeth. They all started to growl at him and Naofumi held up his shield in defense just as the balloon monsters were attacking him. Much to Naofumi's surprise, their bites didn't hurt him one bit and he looked at his HUD and saw he had a higher defense thanks to the chainmail he was wearing.

He also looked at his EXP bar and saw that it was slowly going up and he smiled and thought, I think this will work out quite nicely. Who knows, maybe I will reach level two by the end of the day. Naofumi continued to fight the balloon monsters as they leapt up and continued to attack him but his HP didn't decrease much. On the other side of the hill, Ren and Itsuki were watching their comrade work his hardest without any party members and they looked at each other and nodded.

The two of them soon put their plan into action and anonymously put a couple of their party members into Naofumi's, but instead of the names of their members, they dubbed them as 'Ghost.' Meanwhile out in the field, Naofumi saw Ghost appear before him and he thought it was kind of odd that two adventurers will have the same name. But he didn't care and just accepted them as party members even though he didn't know who they were.

Once Naofumi accepted their members, Ren and Itsuki smiled and Ren said, "Now we just have to wait and see what'll happen."

Throughout the afternoon, Naofumi fought monster after monster with a little help from his anonymous helpers. Ren and Itsuki also worked their hardest while watching over Naofumi to see if he'll be alright. Little did Ren and Itsuki know is that not too far off, Motoyasu is also watching the shield hero. The spear hero thought about being in the same field as Naofumi so he can watch over him. At times, Motoyasu would sneak away from his party for a couple minutes, go to where Naofumi was and watch him.

Motoyasu smiled kindly when he watched Naofumi work hard even though he's by himself and he has two fo Ren and Itsuki's party members secretly helping him. The spear hero wished desperately that he would have Naofumi in his party, but like King Aultcray said, the heroes can't level up if they're together in one place. It was then that Motoyasu began to get worried about Naofumi and thought about what those strangers were saying last night.

He clenched his spear in his hand while remembering it and he looked back at Naofumi thinking if he'll be okay. Motoyasu then turned around to go back to his party, but he looked at Naofumi again and he said, "Don't worry Naofumi. I'll protect you. Along with Ren and Itsuki."

Meanwhile at the castle, Aultcray was meeting with the healer who looked at Naofumi to talk to them about Naofumi's results. When he got there, Aultcray showed the healer the scroll that was delivered to him and he said to her, "Tell me, is this really true?"

The healer nodded and said, "I'm afraid it is Your Majesty. And let me tell you, in my years working as a healer, I have never once seen or heard anything like this. The shield hero must be pretty special if he has organs from both genders. And to top it off, if he could he'll also bear children because I also found something that resembles a woman's womb in his body too."

"But did the summoning mess it up at all?" Aultcray asked with worry.

The healer shook his head and said, "I don't think so. I think the boy was just sick from the aftereffects of it. I've seen it happen in people who get sick from riding in carriages or ships."

Aultcray let out a sigh of relief after hearing that and he thought, thank goodness. Aultcray then looked at the healer with a serious look and he said, "Listen, I'm going to assign you to be young Naofumi's healer throughout his time here. If there are any changes physical or internal, let me know at once."

The king looked the healer over and saw he had long white hair tied into a ponytail and glasses covering his red eyes.

Aultcray then asked the healer, "I've hired you a few years ago but I never once learned your name."

The healer bowed his head and said to the king, "It's Rayas, sir. Rayas Whitley."

Aultcray nodded after hearing Rayas' name and he said, "Very well then. Also, aside from your knowledge in medicine, do you by chance know how to fight, Sir Rayas?"

Rayas looked at a sword that was mounted on the wall and he said, "In my home country, most of us are known for our swordsmanship. I decided to learn medicine as well as swords hoping they both would come in handy in the near future."

Aultcray looked the same sword Rayas was looking at and then he looked back at the healer and he said, "How would you like to put that to the test, Sir Rayas?"

At the end of the day, Naofumi got a room at the nearest inn after he spent most of it slaying monsters and gaining EXP. He looked at his LVL and saw that he reached not only level two, but four more levels thanks to the mysterious "ghosts" that joined his party but left soon after. As Naofumi was enjoying his dinner, he thought as he was chewing, I never once thought that I would reach so far in one day. If I meet these ghosts someday, I want to thank them.

Far away from Naofumi's table, Ren and Itsuki sat nearby watching Naofumi eat and they looked at each other and gave each other a thumbs up for a job well done. As Naofumi swallowed, he placed his hand on his stomach and thought while rubbing it, still though. I never would've thought that my innards would act up like that just from a summoning. I hope it didn't screw up my condition at all. Just then, Naofumi felt an arm being sling around his shoulders and he looked and saw it was Motoyasu.

Motoyasu grinned down at the shield hero and he said, "Yo Naofumi, how did you do today?"

Naofumi chuckled and said, "I took care of some level one monsters and gained a few levels myself. Nothing spectacular or major."

Motoyasu nodded and said, "I see. And did you do it all solo like you were aiming for?"

Naofumi shook his head and told the blond spear wielder how two anonymous beings called "ghost" helped him reach level six. Motoyasu nodded while listening and then he looked over to Ren and Itsuki's tables but they looked away pretending they weren't even listening. Motoyasu smirked and said in a low voice, "Those guys. So that's how it is."

Motoyasu then looked back at Naofumi and he said, "I happy for you man. But seriously, don't fret too much. If you seriously need a party member, I can happily lend you one of my own. The same goes for Ren and Itsuki too."

Naofumi nodded, thanked Motoyasu and told him he'll keep it in mind. As Naofumi was finishing up his meal, he was about to head upstairs to his room, when Motoyasu grabbed him by the wrist and said, "Where do you think you're going Naofumi?"

Naofumi innocently looked at Motoyasu curiously and said, "To bed. Why?"

Motoyasu blushed a little bit and thought, is this guy playing the cute card on me or what? He then shook it off and said, "Why so early? The night is still young you know. Have a drink with me and my party for a while!"

Naofumi looked over to where Motoyasu's female only party was and when he saw the one girl with red hair, he got a funny feeling from her. He then looked at Motoyasu and said, "I don't really drink alcohol too much."

Motoyasu nodded and said, "That's fine! I'll order milk or juice for you instead! So let's drink till we can't feel feelings!" And when the spear hero cheered, the most of the bar also cheered too.

For most of the night, Motoyasu bought and gulped drinks all around his table while Naofumi decided to have water or juice instead of alcohol even though he's at the age where he can drink. By the end of the night, Naofumi led a drunk Motoyasu up the stairs towards his room and he heard the blond hero say, "You know how many boobs I saw tonight? Sixteen!"

Naofumi chuckled and said, "That's nice Motoyasu. You looked like you had a good time."

It was then that Motoyasu reached up and patted Naofumi's chest and he said, "You feel like you have some flat ones Naofumi. You need to have more milk if you want them to be bigger and bouncier."

Naofumi let out a sigh and said as he pushed Motoyasu's hand away, "Unfortunately, I'm a male not a female so I can't lactate from the chest."

Naofumi then blushed when he remembered how his body is structured and he thought, however, I can do something that most other females do. But I can't say it yet. As they reached Motoyasu's room and entered, Motoyasu rambled as Naofumi walked him to his bed, "You know something Naofumi, I've been on a gazillion dates with a gazillion pretty girls and none of them suit my fancy! Just once, I would like to find someone pretty and nice enough to settle down with. And I also want that one who thinks of the well being of others and not abide their authority or be a total bitch about everything!"

Naofumi nodded and said, "I'm sure you will Motoyasu. I'm sure you will."

It was then that Motoyasu got really close to Naofumi's face and Naofumi can smell the alcohol on his breath. Motoyasu then said, "You have very pretty eyes and your eyelashes are really long."

Naofumi let out an annoyed sigh, placed Motoyasu on the bed and said, "I think it's time you get some sleep now Motoyasu."

As Naofumi was walking out the door, he heard Motoyasu say behind him, "You know something Naofumi? You're really nice. Maybe you can find yourself someone special in this world before any of us. And if you don't, then maybe Ren, Itsuki and I can have you."

Naofumi's cheeks tinted pink when he heard that and then he turned to retort something back but luckily for him, Motoyasu went straight to sleep and started to snore as soon as he did. The shield hero shook his head, blew out the candle and said as he was closing the door, "Just sleep and get sober, okay?"

Once Naofumi was done with Motoyasu, he started to go towards his room, which was at the end of the hall. However when he saw it, he realized that his room was right next door to Motoyasu's and he rolled his eyes in annoyance and thought, what a drag! As soon as Naofumi entered his room and dressed down to his nightclothes, he sat on the bed and looked at his HUD. While he was looking at it, Naofumi noticed a lot of empty spaces and thought that those spaces must be for his shield.

He began to think deeply and Naofumi said to himself, "If I gain materials for my shield, maybe I can use them to get more shields that will help me fight. They'll also help me when the oncoming waves begin to strike. I better be prepared for that. I also need to heed Motoyasu's advice and find some people to pair up with me. The question is, who would pair up with a guy who only uses a shield?"

Naofumi let out a little yawn and thought, I should turn in soon. Otherwise, I'll be up all night pondering. Naofumi then went to his change bag and placed some silvers and coppers in his shield and thought, some extra change just in case. He then took out the picture of his family, traced their faces with his finger and thought, mom, dad, Jun, I promise I'll come home. After he placed the picture back in his pocket, he was about to lay down, he suddenly felt something biting on his arm. Naofumi looked himself over trying to find out where the biting was from thinking some bugs might have gone in.

It was then that he saw what was biting him and he looked at the face of a balloon monster as it had its jaws clamped on his bicep. Naofumi looked at the little monster, smiled and said as he gently pulled it off, "Hey little guy. Where did you come from?"

Naofumi saw the balloon monster was orange just like the rest of them and it looked at him like a desperate puppy. Naofumi chuckled and said to the little monster, "I don't know if you're allowed here little one. If someone saw you, it'll be trouble for both of us."

The balloon monster chomped its jaws at Naofumi as if it was saying that it wanted to stay with him. Naofumi chuckled, patted the monster on top of its smooth surface and said, "Okay, okay, you can stay. But you're gonna have to be under the bed, got it?"

The balloon monster let out a little growl as if it was telling Naofumi it understood and it hopped off his hand and rolled underneath his bed. Once that was done, Naofumi let out a yawn, blew out the candle on the nightstand and tucked himself in thinking about what tomorrow would bring. When the middle of the night approached, the door to Naofumi's room opened and three figures entered and approached the sleeping hero. Suddenly, one of their hands covered Naofumi's mouth and that jolted Naofumi awake.

Naofumi struggled against the person's hand trying to let out a cry for help, but the other two held him down so he wouldn't struggle too much. The figure that held Naofumi's mouth licked his lips and said, "Don't struggle now Shield Hero. We're gonna make sure you feel nothing but pain throughout our visit."

Another figure that held Naofumi's right arm, saw the shield and said, "This shield will be annoying while we do it. Let's temporarily remove it." And Naofumi saw his shield being removed by some sort of spell and thrown across the room.

The other that was hold Naofumi's left side said with a smirk, "Now that that's done, let's remove his clothes and finally have a party!"

Naofumi continued to struggle as the three figures slowly began to strip him and he looked and saw the three men were wearing the same armor as the royal knights back at the castle. He then looked at his doorway and saw the red haired girl who was in Motoyasu's party standing there with an evil glint in her eyes. Naofumi thought, what's she doing? Why is she letting these men do this to me?!

Naofumi soon got a thought in his mind and he thought to himself, could it be that she...

It was then that Naofumi was stripped completely naked and he felt the first man pin his arms above his head and tie them with a belt to the headboard. Naofumi was soon gagged with what he thought his own sock and he heard zippers being pulled down and he heard on of the men say, "Let's hurry and do this and get out of here!"

Naofumi then heard the girl say, "Do that while I take his belongings."

Soon, Naofumi felt himself being penetrated and he let out a scream through his gag. Through the night, Naofumi was penetrated from the front, the back and from his mouth when his gag was removed for a few minutes. All the while, tears started to fall down his eyes and he climaxed more than once during the men's time with him. As Naofumi climaxed for the nth time, the belt was removed from his wrists and he laid there on his bed with a cloudy look in his eyes.

As the men got themselves straightened out, one of them said, "That was the best fucking I've ever did."

His comrade agreed with him and he said, "Yeah! It felt like I was entering a woman's pussy all while we did it."

The third one then said to the other two, "Well we did our job and Her Highness stole all that he owned. All that's left now is to make sure the plan continues like it's supposed to."

Before they left, the one who held Naofumi's mouth grabbed him by the hair so he could look the boy in the eyes and he said with an evil smirk, "May we meet and fuck again "Shield Hero". Or better yet, Shield Slut!" And he pushed Naofumi's head back till it landed and bounced on the mattress and the three of them left the room.

After they left, Naofumi was left laying in a mess of blood and semen stains. He slowly began to move and rolled off the bed and landed on the floor hard. Naofumi tried to move a little and he reached up and grabbed a sheet from the bed and pulled it down on himself. He then rolled himself towards the wall, wrapping the sheet around himself until his body hit it. As he sat up, Naofumi leaned against the wall while wrapped up in the stained sheet and he began to shiver like he was cold and blood from his behind started to seep into the sheet.

For the rest of the night, Naofumi just sat there under the moonlit window and tears started to fall out of his eyes as they remained cloudy from that night's events.

AN: Hey! So, what did you all think? Pretty dramatic huh? I'm gonna do the trial in this story but with a different twist. Sorry if I hadn't updated in a while, writing's slow and I'm doing my best to think about HOW my stories should go. Anyway, next chapter is the one everyone who seen the shield hero anime and read the manga really dreads. Till then my little kittens😘😘😘
